Just doing a bit of research before using the product. Why is it that you specifically say to put the water in 1st when all the sonubaits official vids show/say the opposite? Considering that it's mixed so runny, do you really think it makes any difference?
@@KayleighDowdFishing I'm confused... At 50 seconds you make a big point of it being different to the normal mixing process, requiring the water to be put in first. You then have the trouble that the paste sticks to the wet measuring container and make a joke of scraping it out because you're tight from up north.
@@takleteck7008 which way round you add the water won’t make a difference as it’s either added a before the powder or seconds after, I do it this way personal preference, the result is still the same as you know how much water you need before hand. The difference is with this style 1 to 1 paste is you know how much water and powder to add other pastes will require different amounts of water to get to the correct consistency so it’s becomes easier for people who struggle to get it to the correct consistency
@@KayleighDowdFishing So the reason I was pushing you on the mixing process is that I tried the one to one paste and struggled with it coming off the hook quickly. I ended up moulding it over a hooked expander to help it hold on and of course if it fell off, at least I had a pellet left on the hook. Next time I tried to use it, I sieved out what looks like 1mm micros and the improved finer paste worked much better. I mentioned my disappointment at the local tackle shop a couple of days ago and they had just got the new 'pro' version in stock. I tried it today and it's even better than sieved 1:1. It's fine, sticky, and moulds very well. It's so gooey, you have to wet your hands to stop it sticking. Ask your mates at sonubaits to send you some - i think it doubles your chance of it staying on the hook for longer. Unfortunately there is no free paste pot in the new bags but the hole was ridiculously large anyway.
Just watched Joe Carass on Sonu paste...he does the SAME as Kayleigh does and says why......he says it is so easier to mix and quicker...no idea what video's you've been watching!
Always a pleasure to watch tight lines John

It won’t make any difference which way round you do it, I just find it easier to mix it the powder into the water rather than the other way round
