I watched this this morning with no comments on at that time and have just come back to see how many people said ‘get a banded pellet on daft lad’ Apparently none 😆 Impressive vid - cheers 🍻
I fished paste shallow last 2 times out, I sure the fish we’re slurping the paste out the toss pot as I rested it on the water.Manic sessions, thanks for the video and igniting my desire to try it. Last fished paste over 20 years ago , that was dynamite green fished on the bottom.
As always a great video once again joe unbelievable angler i love your style of fishing your mindset excellent work keep on bagging mate 🎣🎣🎣 a quick question not relating to this video your inception seatbox you tweaked it by adding the double deep side draw unit im waiting for my inception box to arrive I'll be ordering the double draw unit aswel could you give me the part order number for it please just so i get the right unit im after thanks joe 👍
Hi Joe, firstly, a fabulous demonstration of maximum efficiency and speed, and every detail your have perfected has been very well put together. This reminds me of my very early matches fishing years as a junior (in the 80s) fishing sloppy sieved peat (black as it was called) with bloodworm on a size 24s gold hook and joker through the mix. It was a balance of the same consistency, bringing a ball of perch up 6/8" catching frantically throughout a match. I know you have touched on the question of whether this could be made to work with bagging 3/4Ib carp (or bigger) as my usually waters are not stocked with F1's? Do you think the shortened elastic would be enough to play moderately sized carp in the same way using the right gauge elastic? Thanks for your thoughts.
Hi Joe. Thanks for answering my last question. At 2 mins 30 sec, you explain that you tie your eyed hooks like you do a knotless knot, then trim the band off. Why don't you just tie it without the band in the first place or am I missing something?
Thanks JC. I've seen your similar vids doing this with fixed shallow float rigs but throwing the feed paste/groundbait. Do you think that the better feeding accuracy and speed of bite with 'potting' is worth the time penalty of using the pot (once you've got them going)? I wondered if it would work at Monkhall, but then remembered that they don't allow groundbait feeding. Do you think it would work with wetted 1mm pellets, as they are 'almost' groundbait?
@@NuFish whether or not the fact Todber carp are that little big bigger may make a difference it'd be nice to know. Plus no float needed may be beneficial 🤔. May have a pleasure session to see.
In all seriousness. The process of having to load your pot each time whilst breaking down would lead to problems throughout the match. so I need to be able to fish without breaking down for ultimate effieciency. I found with normal F1 kits there is still way too much elastic to net the fish without breaking down. this stubby kit has a short length of elastic (in this case white ZIPP) and because the kit is so stiff it flows out beautifully and smooth, so I can ship back as per normal. But when I lift the pole to net the fish the elastic tightens faster and I net them smoothly. Hope that makes sense
I remember looks of confusion when people started leaving out the old No1 sections and bushed the tip of the old No2, which nowadays is the No1. And now you're doing it over again with what would have been the No3 back in the day, folk's eyes will be rolling right out of their heads!
This method has boosted my weights massively sinse i saw the vid, what a method cheers Joe 😊
In prolific venues it’s amazing
Thanks Joe , not many top anglers would give away info like this . Much appreciated.
It took a bit of arm twisting it has to be said! Come out well though 👍
@@NuFish Love the drone footage too .
Can’t wait to give this a go, many thanks 🎉
Brilliant in depth video once again joe keep them coming pal

Apparently none 😆
Impressive vid - cheers 🍻
Ha ha believe me I've tried it loads of times and you get bites of course but it's just nowhere near as quick
Remarkable fishing. Every aspect has been thought out, from the number two kit and short elastic, to the position and length of the landing net.
👍
Absolutely awesome Joe thanks for the vid. On another note can you film the fisho again this year pleaaaase😊
I would have done but I am going on a much needed holiday tomorrow 🤣
Enjoy bud and watch the heat 😅lol
Top video Joe Tight Lines Steve Amison 👍🦆🎣

Good stuff!
ive had good weights like that but not used a float, pleasure fishing joe
Great video Joe 😊
💪
Amazing method Joe.
Thanks 👍
Loved that joe. Really impressive
Thanks :)
I'd like to see a more in-depth video on how to make the consistency right of the paste used for the hook bait?
Nice one Joe Brilliant 👍
👍
The new Fjuka paste would work well with this method. Would love to see you give it a go.
Looks a bit dry to me but we will see
5 STAR Video Best paste shallow vid on youtube.Joe like the idea of the water bowl on the side of your side trayJoe which bowl is it Thanks
Thanks Gary 👍 it's a nufish bowl and ring 👍

P0890052 just double check it though
Great to see Joe, were I fish there are no F1’s would it work just on carp ??
It really depends on the size and amount of them, if there are lots of smaller fish then yes. But primarily it is an F1 tactic
definitely works on carp ive been doin 200lbs on it with carp to 10lbs its amazing

My friend Adam Richards uses the stubby kit to great effect on the two bagging waters in Yorkshire the oaks and forest lane so it can work :)
Morning.joe can I ask what zipp you use for f1s through a short kit plz thank you
White ZIpp is my favourite
Hello , quel tulipe ptfe utilisez vous a la pointe du kits ?
The Preston kits have a ptfe in the number two section already 👍🏻
Does it help if you use a stiff, thick line when using the jigger?
Yes 0.18mm or 0.20mm is good
What have you done to the pole cup drilled a hole in it
Just cut some of the side away
Unreal Joe
What type of pole pot are you using?
its a Preston cad pot that's been butchered

Sometimes I use banded pellet so it saves me having two lots of hooklengths
Joe do you make the paste up at a stiffer consistency, so the weight doesn’t pull it of the hook? cheers Les
Yes just like a smooth putty

Yes it definitely is. it is incredibly efficient once you get it sorted. Sloppy micros or 4mm's soaked in boiling water can work well as a slop
I'm trying to get to grips with normal paste fishing, I've no chance with this haha
Any plans for a Nufsh paste float?
Eventually yes.
what groundbait for the paste Joe?
Thatchers
Brillient.
I think it took longer to put your paste on than catch the fish, think I will have a go, looks awesome way of catching.
Hope you enjoy
Fantastic method Joe had 113 F1's in 6 hours
Wow brilliant work
Hmmm wonder if this will work at Todber 🤔
It's crossed my mind

That is one seriously thick topkit! Please explain.
I thought I did in the video

@@NuFish You did....but I was just not into the video far enough. Apols.
Bit like feeding time at the zoo
That's not a pole,that's a billiard cue!😂😂😂
I'll have to show you how to tie a spade end hook 🤣
I'm doing alright :)

Ha ha its just a tool for the job and in this situation it's the right tool for the job 👍
Great for match fishing not for pleasure fishing I’d be bored after 1hr doing that 😅
