I understand why Eric does not like Rory, but try to understand her for a moment. Have you ever known or are you people who grew up without a father? Not because he died but because he left or just disappeared when his child was born this person who grew up without a father yes may want to meet his father but that does not mean he will run to him in hugs when he meets him he will be angry at him he will hate him he will not trust him because he Know he can leave at any moment just as Rory feels and add to that Lucifer's rebellious genes here you are, she's right and I think she's a great character.
It kind of sucks that they seemed to miss the "crazy that the killer was the first person we talked to" line. It would have been so validating for them
The scene where Ella sees Amenadiel's wings is everything: you can see happiness& sadness in her face at the same time. Fun fact : this episode was directed by DB Woodside.
Aaron, use only one side... then at the end, flip the book and use only the other sides of pages, but upside down. Using different colored pens helps. When both sides are done, you have not wasted any pages, and were never forced to write across the spine. Tada!
It's not a perfect idea. At the very end of the book, there would inevitably be some overlap since it would be challenging to conclude your thoughts on a topic before flipping. The last pages would probably end up with subject matter that is right side up and then upside down, making it difficult to fully understand what was written without several flips back and forth.

I blame myself for not explaining it well enough. ;-] The writing would be a continuous flow from one end to the other, using only the right side. Then flip ONCE, and continue on the right side which is now the reverse of every single page that was used in the first half of the life of the notebook. There is no need to go back and forth, ever. There we go, that should do it. ;-]
I’m pretty sure you can write a study on a patient though I think you have to change/hide names of the individuals involved, for the purpose of research and not entertainment. However, as seen to begin, Lucifer loved the idea of a book about himself and would likely have consented to being named in it.
@@DragonsDungeon The issue is that you have to have consent from everyone that you name in the book. Without consent from everyone she runs the risk of having her license revoked. Plus if she mentioned that she had a sexual relationship with Lucifer she could also have her license revoked.

The only sure thing in this episode, and it emerges from Linda's notes, is that Lucifer always had an issue with not having his own desk at the police station. it is enough to see the enormous wooden desk in which Lucifer imagined himself in the sessions with Linda. The desk is a recurring theme in the story, already in S2, Lucifer asked Chloe when he would have his own desk, and the theme returned in S5B when God asked "where is your desk?" and then he made fun of him pointing out that Dan had a desk and that one day Lucifer would reach the same level as Dan and be worthy to have a desk
Honestly one of the top 10 best episodes of the entire series. Not only do we get funny as hell borderline self aware moments like the visualizations of the manuscript but we also get great character moments like Ella finally confronting Lucifer and the others for not reading her in on how the divine was actually real. I still wish we had gotten a moment of Ella meeting Azrael.
This episode is one of the best and most ingenious episodes in the series. This episode is not just an episode that anyone can see and get excited about This is an episode for us for the fans of what went through a process with the series As Lucifer says it really is "Lucifer Mornigstar's latest psychological treatment" He really manages to make a real difference! He made himself vulnerable and let his emotion run. And all the other things the candid conversation between these and Lucifer in the funny little moments that it's so ingenious that they did a segment that is a parody of the series! A parody of themselves is ingenious And we are so close to the end that I can not believe it !!!!!!
Absolute wishy washy junk. This entire season has been spoiled by woke and this episode in particular was a letdown. How far Lucifer the TV show has fallen. Go girl power!

It occurs to me that Rory did divulge some sort of big information. She said that Chloe was going to live more than 20 years. That gives her carte blanche to do any dangerous thing for the next couple of decades. Though, Rory didn't say that Chloe was in good shape in 20 years,
It's so crazy to me how recently with every show I'm watching with blind wave, I agree with Eric less and less while I agree with Aaron and Calvin more and more. (I hardly EVER agree with Rick tho, he's always been the Eeyore of the group. 😂) In both Lucifer and Doom Patrol Aaron and Calvin seem to be very open and understanding with certain story narratives and themes while diving deeper into them in a very therapeutic and sometimes eye opening way, while Eric and Rick are just kinda whatever about it because they just don't really care that much or feel anything from it. Which they are completely justified with, I know that not everything is gonna tug at everyone's heart strings. It's so weird because usually it's the other way around with the crew.
I think Eric has suffered the "child from the future acts too young for their age and is moody" trope one too many times at this point. I actually think it's pretty decently done in Lucifer, but both the Arrow and Flash did it and Flash's daughter was pretty insufferable for 20 episodes.
Agreed. If you watch the anime vinland saga, episode 18 reaction Eric was once again very narrow minded just disregarding everything. The comments on that video are filled to the brim with calling him out on it. It's ashame really
To be fair there is no respected scientist that actually believes in God. We are actually dealing with the universe where God does exist and some of the individuals who are not looking towards the scientist who also believes in God are among those who know that God does exist in this universe of the show obviously

This season has a few bright spots. I like this episode but I hate the convoluted Rory storyline. It definitely feels like the rushes to come up with an idea for an extra season they got. And surprisingly I think Arrow did a better job at the future child(ren) storyline. With the shortened season the waited way too long to get Rory’s anger to fade and make her more enjoyable.
I think what a lot of fans are picking up on is that Rory & the time travel device were completely unnecessary to get Lucifer to where he ends up at the end of Season 6 (despite the writer's trying with all their might to make it look necessary) *Major Spoilers for the End of Season 6 Below* Rory was completely unnecessary to get Lucifer to the realization that he needs to become hell's therapist. This includes sacrificing being with Chloe for the rest of her "earthly" life or forfeiting being there for Rory's childhood. You could easily remove Rory completely and still get to where Season 6 ends. I think the problem the writers faced was that if they did - they wouldn't have enough material for an entire season - they barely had enough with what we did get. Take all the unnecessary bits out of season 6 and you have, at most, 5 episodes. If they had added those to the end of season 5 they could have done the following: 1. Have the episode after (what is currently) the final episode of season 5 be set a few months later. 2. Have lucifer still procrastinating ascending to the throne cuz he's having 2nd thoughts and underlying issues because - well he is lucifer. 3. Have Dan still in ping pong purgatory for thousands of years with the already established device that time moves differently in hell. 4. Have Chloe still working at the LAPD but planning on resigning while working with Carol to transition him to replace her. 5. Have Dan still end up on the earthly plane by either convincing lucifer to take him up despite lucifer's warnings about not being able to return or interact [or have another device to get Dan on Earth]. 6. Have lucifer use the case of the episode to procrastinate for an episode or two while Dan is consistently back seat detective-ing and driving lucifer nuts since lucifer would be the only one on the crime scene to see/hear him (maybe maze could also show up at the crime scene for a funny moment or two). 7. Have Ella in the background doing her crazy board figuring everything out including the apocalypse like she did in Season 6. 8. Have Amenadiel in the background getting more and more in touch with what humanity needs from a god. 8. keep maze & eve's wedding and Linda's memoirs (you could nearly keep the previous episode & this one as is with just a few tweaks) 9. Have Dan still possess a killer (use the killer of the current case) to resolve his guilt with Trixie (cops are closing in on the killer - the killer goes on the run - dan possess body it isn't french chuck - or figure out how to get french chuck into the case of the episode since I really do like the actor cuz of SPN). 10. Dan's guilt is resolved and he ascends to heaven while Lucifer & Chloe figure out that Dan resolved his guilt & Lucifer figures out that this is what hell needs. 11. The end - Amendiel ascends the throne in the silver city and Lucifer still chooses to be Hell's therapist and commutes back and forth like Amenadiel planned on doing as god. 12. Chloe can even decide to continue working as a detective and you can have keep the ending montage only with the inclusion of Chloe and Lucifer living out Chloe's earthly life during the evenings after work (like any normal 2-parent working household) and Amenadiel taking Chloe to Lucifer in Hell at the end of her life. 13. You can even keep the scene with Lucifer using Linda's office to administer therapy to Linda's ex, French Chuck, & the other guy (who I can't remember at the moment). Viola - no shoe-horning in a time traveling daughter and some contrived sacrifice where lucifer and chloe separate for the rest of chloe's earthly life and he forfeits being there for any potential future children's childhood (at the behest of said child no less) and best of all no introduction of time travel which opens up a silly can of worms when it comes to tropes. The only positive thing I can say about season 6 was that we got to spend a little extra time with the characters we enjoyed in the previous seasons - even if we had to suffer through a few annoyances.
It's insane to me that people are complaining about a complex character with a pretty understandable motivation, while we wasted 16 episodes on a cartoony one-dimensional villain, that was Michael. Rory storyline was the first thing that got my interest since the God arc, because its an internal relationship problem, a family conflict and not a lazy "war between angels".
@@danielkiran8174 Michael was wasted and started interesting but ended so poorly. Still better then sinnerman S3 which I also think started of interesting and ending meh. The Rory storyline just didn’t feel necessary to get Lucifer where they wanted to end him and felt rushed while also being drawn out and waited to long for Rory’s anger to fade and make her likable. I never said her anger wasn’t understandable just that it lasted too long.

I can kind of understand Rory. But I think the issue with her character is that she falls short when you place her around other characters that we’ve known for seasons and love. They all talked about how the show isnt exactly a masterpiece, but it is still a lot of fun to watch. But in the end, her character tends to be less entertaining and the drags the fun of the show, which I blame on the dialogue and how they wrote the character.
Rory is a terrible character in the show, she also isn't right at all. She jumps back in time just to be all pissy at a man who hasn't even done anything wrong yet. In her time he might not have been there but present day Lucifer ain't done anything yet. She also refuses to give him any details about what he did until both him and Chloe ask for the millionth time. Even when Lucifer tries to understand her better and make an effort she makes none back. The whole time she basically just acts like the parent/child version of when women are mad at their men but when they ask what's wrong they say "Well if you don't know then I can't tell you". Also it's kinda funny how she isn't mad Chloe at any point. Chloe is in her life up until she dies and doesn't tell her why Lucifer left. But does she get angry with her for keeping her in the dark, nope of course not it's only Lucifer who's at fault. Rory is one of the worst parts about the final season and you can't get away from it because she's one of the main driving points of the season.

I understand why Eric does not like Rory, but try to understand her for a moment.
Have you ever known or are you people who grew up without a father? Not because he died but because he left or just disappeared when his child was born this person who grew up without a father yes may want to meet his father but that does not mean he will run to him in hugs when he meets him he will be angry at him he will hate him he will not trust him because he Know he can leave at any moment just as Rory feels and add to that Lucifer's rebellious genes here you are, she's right and I think she's a great character.
I can kind of understand Rory. But I think the issue with her character is that she falls short when you place her around other characters that we’ve known for seasons and love. They all talked about how the show isnt exactly a masterpiece, but it is still a lot of fun to watch. But in the end, her character tends to be less entertaining and the drags the fun of the show, which I blame on the dialogue and how they wrote the character.
Rory is a terrible character in the show, she also isn't right at all. She jumps back in time just to be all pissy at a man who hasn't even done anything wrong yet. In her time he might not have been there but present day Lucifer ain't done anything yet. She also refuses to give him any details about what he did until both him and Chloe ask for the millionth time. Even when Lucifer tries to understand her better and make an effort she makes none back. The whole time she basically just acts like the parent/child version of when women are mad at their men but when they ask what's wrong they say "Well if you don't know then I can't tell you". Also it's kinda funny how she isn't mad Chloe at any point. Chloe is in her life up until she dies and doesn't tell her why Lucifer left. But does she get angry with her for keeping her in the dark, nope of course not it's only Lucifer who's at fault. Rory is one of the worst parts about the final season and you can't get away from it because she's one of the main driving points of the season.
