In Rafale deal out 13 ISE, 6-7 are valid (AESA radar, Updated Spectra suite, X-Guard deciy system addition, Modification in M-88 -3 engine, another Addition of Jammer (may be Isreally Skyshield), Updated datalink + Navigation) remaining are done to waste money..
ISE cost 1.2 billion rupees, can u imagine..

Just wanna share something.
One of my uncles work in Ordnance Factory Board. Not gonna name which dept. But he is in pretty active post(Not Babu or File signer). So he was telling me that previously even they were reluctant to their timelines & all that staff bckz there was nothing to monitor their work or efficiency. But after scrapping OFB & making them dedicated entity, things have changed. Their work progresses is now monitored & there is different work culture. But the issue is with the Babus. The File signers are still reluctant like before. Now who would complain against them?? And higher officials are same too !!! Just like - Tu bhi saddar ,, mein bhi saddar ,,bki sab bekar 😂. Bureaucrats ka kaam chalna chaiye bki sab kuch jaaye bhaar mein. So it's not the ground workers but these higher officials who are behind these delays. And untill these Babus are blamed,,, things gonna be delayed...
Disclaimer : i'm not defending my uncle either 😂,, bcoz even i was frustrated when i heard about his previous work culture.. But now things have changed or improving. And it would take time.
these babus should be kept in front line when such galwan incidents happens. You dont only compromise your country when you leak things, it happens even when you dont perform your duty on time and things gets delayed, and we being weaker
Reality -
1. Want atmanirbhar bharat but dont want to give money - AMCA, TEDBF, TEJAS MK-2
2. Give unrealastic requirement and after fail import less capable weapons - TAPAS
3. Develop system and carry out long time testing then ask to upgrade it and import things - Namika carrier, Helina, ATAGS

Navy is the most matured in Indian military
Every Airplane is delayed as of two reasons
1. India do not have export market as Russia America France or England so dead investment
2. Asking the aircraft from the countries from where we can reciprocate something during the that phase of dimplomatic shift benefits india
Bruh.. We have enough domestic demand to make any military equipment project viable. That's the main advantage we have not harnessed yet. Indian orders kept Russian domestic defense industry alive in 90's, it can supercharge our own industry.

This video is based on two assumptions - 1. Mig 29K upgrades will be done on time. 2. Rafale M deal will be signed soon....but here we cannot rely on assumption no. 2 as MRFA might be clubbed with MRCBF which might eventually delay the entire process

If the Navy pushes for the upgrade of MiG 29's, it can be fast-tracked
In 2019-2020 we were saying that Tejas MK2 will fly in 2024.
Consider this and think about the 2027-2028 timeline.
That's why you should add 4 years from the funding for tl.
Mk2 got funds in 2022 so 2026 = first flight.
TEDBF might get it by 2025-26 so first flight ≈ 2029-30.
Instead of delaying TEDBF, fasting it and making a stealth and airforce version can complement AMCA, and making an vtol version like f 35 b should be made, so that IN can also operate from upcoming 4 LHDs
Fifth gen fighters on carriers are not that reliable and efficient even the us navy is not happy with the f35 that’s why they are making faxx

One or two squadrons of naval lca in fleet air-defence role could be an interim solution for these fighter shortages in carrier/shore based operations.
Navy can't use single engine fighter jets because of high risk of crashing on aircraft carrier.
@@defence3355 indian navy had been using single engined sea-hawk and sea-harriers combined for nearly 5 decades.
USA, United Kingdom, Italian navy/marines uses single engined f-35 for naval and carrier operations.

Naval LCA would have very less range if operated from shore based facilities.

AMCA 5 Gen Fighter ( Dual Engine Heavy Weight )
36 French Rafael ( Dual Engine Medium Weight )
Indigenous engine ( kaveri with modifications as replacement for F404 )
Indigenous Engine ( replacement for F414 with safran or RR with IP)
And hopefully MMRCA ( Big question mark ?? )
In Span of 20 years assuming 2034 time for induction of TEDBF and AMCA

Delay is expected. India has never made a naval fighter jet. Also there was a design change in TEDBF recently so it will take time. This is normal.
Why don't we use AMCA (-) as base TEDBF??

We need to master the sub system development… rest is just the airframe….if you see other fighter programs they are only able to make flying airframes ready….

I belive we should focus on stronger Air arm of Air force as Chinese did same.. Had a larger Air force and then focused on Naval Air arm. Especially fighter jets.

4)48 MH60R ASW Helicopters
4)Additional 6 P8I Poseidon & 18 Kawasaki P1 MPA instead of waiting another decade for C295 MMMA

Manuvaring and correction autonomously is my attracted point. Joy isro reusable /bomber space plane Puspak. 2023 and 2024 two time testing successfully.
When you have committed for a particular timeline you should adhere to it, why should the Defence be OK with "Delays" and "CHALEGA" attitude. Specially in Defense Projects.

I think the delay is because the design details haven't been completed cause what we've noticed with AMCA is that all the design structural report etc etc details was completed and everything was fixed then the Govt given funding we always blame the Govt but until and unless the design details and structural report is completely done then only the Govt is going to give approval right now we don't know it is completed or not and again Navy is also working with them so I think the refinement of TEBDF is still not completely so that's whe it is taking time

Keep in mind every time they give a timeline they definitely miss it by 10 years at least.

Final design is like pointed nose cone? or rounded one? as Pointed was intial one and some time after project moves there was a picture with rounded nose cone? which looks more like rafale, so what will be the final one? I hope its pointed one
Actually I feel rather than tejas mk2 airforce should have joined navy for aitforce version of TEDBF which is actually easy way than naval version
2034 is too early, we won't be seeing it before 2040. Our Aviation Industry is a mess. Until the private sector develops the capability, our fighter jet programs will run like snails. By the time TEDF is inducted, Pakistan and China will fly fifth-gen fighters on our borders. MiG29K are relics of the Soviet era. Sometimes it is so frustrating.

When will we start sticking to the timelines in defense projects? I think ADA, HAL & DRDO should be made accountable for every project. All major project should be directly monitored by PMO. Defense Ministry should be run by the Military not Babus who don't understand a thing about defense.
For me i think the gov should add rewards and panishment system so that drdo employ can work hard for there rewards or promotion which can even acts as a boost and it will change their mindset from it a 5 t0 9 job and nothing else

The Indian air force desperately needs fighters as the fighter squadron strength of the IAF fell to 31. The situation is likely to get worse as ( 40 Mig 21 Bison ) are scheduled to be phased out next year
But to add to the woes of the IAF:
1. Tejas Mk1 FAILED
2. Tejas Mk 1A FAILED
3. Tejas MK2 DELAYED till 2027
4. TEDBF DELAYED till 2035.
5. AMCA DELAYED till 2034.
6. Multi-role Fighter Aircraft (MRFA) DELAYED/DEAD.
7. Multi-role Role carrier Borne Fighter (MRCBF) pending since 2017
8. The FGFA program didn't see daylight.
9. Super sukhoi plan DELAYED.
10. A deal to procure 12 additional SU-30MKIs is STUCK due to Russia-Ukraine war.
11. Jaguar DARIN III upgrade project FAILED/CANCELLED.
12. A deal to procure 21 additional MIG-29s from Russia has been STUCK due to Russia-Ukraine war.
13. Sitara Intermediate Jet trainer FAILED
14. HTT-40 in making since 2012.
15. Kaveri Engine FAILED
Procurement of Rafale is stupid decision Navy will have to wait years for getting full delivery of all Rafale M due to current massive order numbers placed by other countries
