In my case, hindi ko pa alam yung process before. Kaya few months after ko man land sa Canada umuwi ako ng Pinas para lang mag process ng NNAS which I could have done prior to leaving before.
Im not sure sa CIC.
Sir Paul just to clarify po so initially pag submit nyo ng express entry profile niyo, saka kayo nakareceive ng Nomination letter from Alberta? so hindi po kayo nag apply for nomination sa Alberta? kumbaga sir, napili ka lang nila from within the pool sa express entry? 2. And that time din po ba when you applied for express entry, meron ka na license nun sa NYSED or tapos mo na completely yung registration mo sa College of Ontario?
1. Yup. That’s exactly what happened. Wala pa ako license sa New York. My Express Entry application wad approved in August 2019. My application for NYSED was done in January 2021 and was approved in May 2021 (if my memory serves me right). My application at CNO started end of March 2021 and completed in December 2021 (got my Registered Nurse and Registered Practical Nurse Licenses in Ontario, Canada)

Hey, we had our PRs approved almost the same time, I got mine just a month earlier than yours! I'm also an outland applicant thru FSW, and CRS score ko was 450. Ang kaibahan lang natin, I was not in the Philippines at the time, I was in Dubai! When did you land btw? Congrats:))
@@PaulRN Yeah, I had to maxed out IELTS to get that CRS, that's the only path I saw back then kasi hindi naman in demand masyado mga Engineers like me so I had no chance for PNP, pero ikaw you got PNP which was great! I was 30 when I landed hehe
Hi Paul, I was inspired by your story. Btw, I'm married with four children. I'm also a nurse like you. Is it possible to process my own, na hindi muna kasama ang family ko o dapat ba sa pag-apply i-include na yong spouse kaagad? I mean, my husband and kids will definitely join me in the future pero mas prefer namin na mauna muna ako maybe for a year before they join with me. Pwede ba yon? You didn't mention kasi if you have a family so I assume you went to Canada alone. Thanks in advance sa reply.
Hello Rheygs! 1. It is possible to process na ikaw muna. If Express Entry ang plan mo na pathway, I would HIGHLY suggest na isama mo na buong family mo sa application para once na-approve ang application mo sabay sabay kayo mabibigyan ng Immigrant Visa (one time use) and COPR (Certificate of Permanent Residence). Kung hindi pa kayo completely ready mag settle in Canada, you can opt to do soft landing (Pupunta lang sa Canada para papirmahan ang COPR para maging full fledged Canadian Permanent Resident, apply for your PR card, and uwi ng Pinas pag may PR card na, then balik na lang sa Canada at a later date) By the way, single applicant ako.
@@PaulRN Thanks sa prompt response Paul. When I get the PR card can I just stay in Canada for a year maybe before I bring my family? I have a Tita in Alberta where I can stay. Plan ko din kasi sana mag-apply to be a nurse in Canada and for sure kailangan yon ng additional study. Mas mura din ang tuition for PR kaysa International student. Another question, are you pursuing your nursing career there?
@@rheygz Yup pwede! To keep your permanent resident status, you must have been in Canada for at least 730 days during the last five years. These 730 days don't need to be continuous. Some of your time abroad may count towards the 730 days. More info here: www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=727&top=10 And yes, mas mura tuition and pwede ka mag loan sa government and pay it later.

Tip: if may visa ka na papunta Canada, make sure na mag process ka na ng NNAS bago pumunta ng Canada. In my case, hindi ko pa alam yung process before. Kaya few months after ko man land sa Canada umuwi ako ng Pinas para lang mag process ng NNAS which I could have done prior to leaving before.
Im not sure sa CIC.
@@nicocabioc752 are you talking about PPR? if yes, sa VFS makati ko dinala yung passport ko for visa stamping.
Hi.
@@PaulRN Thanks. Your video is informative by the way. Keep it up!
@@PaulRN Thank you sir, lumalakas din tuloy ang loob ko ngayon magpasa ng express entry kasi nasa 410 na ang score ko upon using the tool pero wala pa rin po ako license dun, currently a UK RN here, and PH Rn po ako so pasensya na sa maraming tanong.
@@joieannealudino21 you’re welcome! If you really want to pursue nursing in Canada, mag NCLEX ka na ASAP.
@@joieannealudino21 wes and IELTS only for EE.
May work kapa po nito nung nag aapply ka for express entry? Thankyou po
Hello! Yup, I was working habang nag-aapply ako for Express Entry. I was a company nurse during that time. I stopped working 2 months before migrating. ☺️
@@PaulRN thanks for the info sir Paul I hope makapasa rin po ako sa express entry still working padin po ako dito sa PH
@@ninsfnj I wish you success and good luck! It may be hard as go along with your Canadian dream pero everything will be worth it! ☺️
@@PaulRN AMEN IN GOD'S PERFECT TIMING
You need if kapag may ITA ka na.
How much po ang expenses nio?
Salamat sir
San part ka medyo naguguluhan? Maybe I can help 😁
How much po POF mo?
My POF in 2019 was around 500k PHP for single applicant.
But in 2021, I heard the POF has increased. You can check here the required POF to date:

Thank you sir nainspire ako, while working here in KSA mag rereview ako for ielts and for WES. God willing lahat tayo makapag canada po tayo. 🥰
Congrats:))
Hi! Thank you and congrats too! I landed in Feb 2020 hehe. Your CRS was mataas! Mine was 337 lang initially hehe. Where are you in Canada? 😁
@@PaulRN Yeah, I had to maxed out IELTS to get that CRS, that's the only path I saw back then kasi hindi naman in demand masyado mga Engineers like me so I had no chance for PNP, pero ikaw you got PNP which was great! I landed back in October 2019 (on my 27th birthday) here in Toronto, single applicant din ako like you. How old were you when you landed?
@@jkb752 Ako naman despite my low crs hindi na ako nag baka sakali mag retake ng IELTS because it was futile since di rin aabot anywhere 450 CRS ko hehe. My only chance back then was PNP lang talaga and I was lucky to get one. My PR application was approved few days after my birthday then the following year na ako nag travel to Canada. I was 30 when I landed hehe
san link po pwde mag apply for express entry

Kung hindi pa kayo completely ready mag settle in Canada, you can opt to do soft landing (Pupunta lang sa Canada para papirmahan ang COPR para maging full fledged Canadian Permanent Resident, apply for your PR card, and uwi ng Pinas pag may PR card na, then balik na lang sa Canada at a later date)
By the way, single applicant ako.
More info here:
www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=727&top=10
And yes, mas mura tuition and pwede ka mag loan sa government and pay it later.
Ano po nakuha niyong score sa IELTS?
Hello, eto scores ko
Reading 6
Writing 6
Listening 7.5
Speaking 7.5

You have to stay for a certain period of time. That’s what I did.
