Hi Paul, thank you for sharing this informative video. Confirm ko lang, nung nag-take ka ng NCLEX, did you apply for NCLEX Canada or NCLEX US? In case mapass ang NCLEX US, required pa magaral ng 2 years to align academic credentials sa Canadian standards or hindi na? I've heard nagrelax ng policy ang Canada/some states in Canadsa sa requirements to solve the staff shortage. Curious din ako to know if pwede na magwork sa Canada using an NCLEX US license. Thank you.
Hi J! I took NCLEX US (DIY New York). NCLEX-RN ang board/registration exam in Canada. Hence, once you passed NCLEX US all you need to do is endorse it to Canada. However isa lang ang NCLEX sa requirements para maging RN in Canada. Academic credential requirement was made easy in Ontario only. In the first quarter of this year, CNO (College of Nurses of Ontario) announced that any Internationally Educated Nurses that passed NCLEX-RN April 1, 2013 onwards will meet the educational gaps determined by NNAS. In my case, sa NNAS ko not comparable ang assessment ng nursing education ko in the Philippines. So I decided to take NCLEX-RN sa state ng NY since it is one of the easiest state to obtain eligibility. Then endorse na lang from NYSED to CNO. Here is the link www.cno.org/en/become-a-nurse/registration-requirements/education/faqs-nclex-rn-as-educational-requirement-for-iens/
@@PaulRN That's good to know. Thank you for sharing. =). After ma-approve US license mo ng CNO, were you able to work na or may different requirements na need pa iaccomplish?
I am still waiting for the license verification. NYSED said it will take 1-2 months to be completed and I just requested it 2 weeks ago. But once my license from NY is endorsed to CNO, I am pretty much ready to work na. To give you an illustration, ito lahat ng requirements ng CNO for you to practice as RN in Ontario, Canada. (can’t speak for other provinces pero chances are similar lang or may konting diff) CNO: 1. Nursing Education 2. Evidence of Practice (dapat may work exp ka as RN in the past 3 years) 3. Registration Exam (NCLEX-RN) 4. Jurisprudence Exam 5. Language Proficiency (IELTS Acad/CELBAN or waive it then send letter/s) 6. Authorization to Work (PR, Canadian Citizen, Open Work Permit) 7. Police Criminal Record Check 8. Character Conduct and Health - Declaration 9. Other Registeation
Thank you uli Paul. Very Helpful information. Congrats uli and thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. Big help sya for us. Keep up the good work. I'll encourage people to visit your channel. =)
Hello. Thanks for the info. Please upload more videos about your nursing journey in Canada. I'm also a nurse working in kuwait and praying to be there too ❤️. Thanksss.
May nag eexplain pa. Thank you! May community ka po ba for Nurses na dreaming to work in Canada?
Hi Paul, first of all thank you for sharing loads of informative videos about the application process of IEN in Canada. TIA.
Hello Fe. I would highly suggest to secure your status in Canada muna before applying for NNAS. Or, start applying for NCLEX while working on your Express Entry.
Hello sir, viewing this video many times and taking notes as well😊. I have a question regarding where WES would send the evaluation report? Iam currently here at KSA, can i put my address here? For the wes can send the evaluation report? And from here (KSA) i will send it back to WES? Thank you for your answer?
Hi paul! I just came accross your videos while gathering info going to canada..may question lang ako sa adaptability part, counted ba yung tito ng asawa ko? Thank you in advance sana makita mo to.😄

Hello Sir Paul, new subscriber here! 😊 I am a RN with experience in dialysis and currently reviewing for NCLEX and will also take IELTS soon.
Hi sir ask ko lng po if meron din ba Express Entry for non-skilled worker? DIY applications no job order, don kana mag aapply pag nkalapag kana sa Canada?
Thank you :)
Hello Michelle, for WES, you need to choose: ECA Application for IRCC For immigration purposes, select the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) Application for Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Lahat ng professionals na gusto mag apply for express entry regardless of profession yan pipiliin. Eto link: applications.wes.org/createaccount/home/select-eval-type In my case, 2 years lang ang equivalency ng Philiipine college diploma ko sa Canada. Mostly 2 years lang talaga ang equivalency except sa mga nag graduate sa University of the Philippines at iilan pang chosen schools lang.
You will need a Certified True Copy should you process your WES as they do not accept original. For Express Entry itself, you just need to scan your docs and upload it on your profile.
Hi sir. I’ve watched this video of yours po.
If both meron na, check your eligibility and score at least 67/100. You can add email conversation na you did your best but it was futile.
For those who wanted to save money from reviewing, you could self review. 1-2 months is enough. I did my academic test with only 2 months of self-review. General ielts is much easier.
Very informative! Thank you so much. I saw your video on one EE fb page. RN din po ako sir, been practicing for almost 9 yrs and currently in UAE. I have a question po. Very informative. Tanong ko lang sir. Pag po ba ang work exp as nurse was last 2014 pa (2 years of experience), magagamit ko pa din ba sya pag nag apply ako ng FSW? Sana mapansin mo tong question ko. Salamat po and god bless.
Yes! Sa Express Entry po work experience for the last 10 years ang tinitignan. Example: If mag apply ka today, yung work experience mo po mula 2010 - 2020 ang need i-declare.
Hi Paul, this is Bonnie. I binged watching all your youtube videos ☺️ Aspiring to immigrate in CANADA. My mga questions lang sana ako, just want to know if ano specialty mo? I am an OT nurse kasi and I want to still practice it pagdating jan? Would it be possible if I will take the student visa program? I will still be an operating nurse? Wala kasi ako mapagtanungan kung paano ba. Since gusto na din kasi namin umalis agad that’s why we will take student visa program. Mas ok ba tulad sayo as express entry skilled worker program for me na Mai tuloy pagiging OT nurse ko? Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
Very informative, however I have few questions below regading visa and work.. I appreciate if you can answer it. Thanks 1. Sir bali ano visa nyo nung nagland kau ? 2. And ano work naoffer sa inyo upon application? 3. Ano work nyo nung dumating kau? Salamat
Hello! 1. Immigrant Visa. One time entry to Canada ang Immigrant Visa na ibibgay sayo kasama yung COPR or Confirmation of Permanent Residence. Meron expiration date kaya DAPAT mag land sa Canada before yun mag-expire. 2. Wala ako work/job offer during application ko. You may or may not receive work/job offer during application depende sa NOC at kung gaano ka in demand yung NOC mo. 3. I did some cleaning. Di ako pwede mag Nurse agad kasi regulated job yun and need ko mag undergo muna ng assessment and take a couple of examinations. Since PR nag land, pwede mag work any job related or not sa previous work mo sa Pinas. Literal na back to zero pag dating especially if regulated yung job mo like me.

If you are opting for Express Entry, having at least 67/100 score is a MUST po. Sa application for Express Entry meron doon part for Eligibility, kahit mataas ang score mo sa CRS but they found out na you did not meet the at least 67/100 eligibility score, chances are your application will not be approved.
Hello sir i’m creating my express entry profile right now. I just want to ask po regarding dun sa section na date first became qualified to practice this occupation… Yung ilalagay ba dun is date na naging registered nurse or date of first employment. Hope you can help me thanks

Hello Harvey! Per www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html#adaptability Eto po ang mga pwede: Relatives in Canada You, or your spouse or common-law partner, have a relative who is: living in Canada 18 years or older and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident This relative must be a: parent grandparent child grandchild your or your spouse’s sibling (child of your or your spouse’s parent) your or your spouse’s aunt or uncle (by blood or marriage) your or your spouse’s niece or nephew (grandchild of your or your spouse’s parent) Medyo broad yung sinabi. For the document, I submitted my aunt’s: Billing statements (housing, phone bill, etc) Canadian Citizenship document Copy of Birth certificate
Looking forward to more videos
3. Example: In my case, may call center exp for 2 years and meron rin nursing exp for 4 years. Since nun nag apply ako ang ginamit ko na NOC ay 3012 or Registered Nurse / Registered Psychiatric Nurse. Ang may bearing lang po ay yung work exp ko as Nurse or NOC 3012 and hindi counted ung call center exp ko. I hope this helps. If Canada talaga dream country niyo mag partner. Mas better if si Partner mo ang mag principal applicant tapos mag common law ka na lang or spouse. ☺️
Product po ako ng PNP specifically AINP (Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program) and I can tell you things about it.
Isa pang requirement para maging eligible at makapag apply sa AINP, dapat maka receive ang isang Express Entry applicant ng NOI or Notice of Interest from the Government of Alberta.
Yes po you can. Pero medyo challenging ngayon ang pagkuha ng parents especially if you have your own family na. Others are opting Super Visa for their parents. www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/parent-grandparent-super-visa.html One thing is for sure, mas madali mo makukuha ang family (Spouse, Child/children). Or if pag nag apply po ikaw and you declared them in your application, sabay sabay kayo pupunta ng Canada once your application is approved. www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/family-sponsorship/other-relatives/eligibility.html
Hello Michelle! Minimum of 1 year pwede na. Pero I strongly recommend na at least 6 years or more. Why? Because the longer work experience you have, the higher points you get. jomel galam Hi, initial CRS was 337. Then I received a notification from Alberta na gusto nila ako i-nominate. When I completed my requirements for the AINP (Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program), I was granted 600 points on top of my initial score. I ended up having 937 points. After few weeks I received my ITA (Invitation to Apply).
jomel galam This is how AINP works po (based sa website nila and based on my personal experience). Express Entry applicants can’t apply to AINP without being selected by the province. This means, a potential EE applicant MUST receive a notification from the Govt. of Alberta prior to application. My experience was, I received a NOI (Notification of Interest) from Alberta on my Express Entry profile that they want to nominate me. Part of the NOI was an instruction for me to personally send them (Alberta Govt.) an e-mail about my interest. Below is the actual NOI I received from them: Dear, The Government of Alberta is interested in considering you for nomination under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express Entry. If you want Alberta to consider you for nomination under its PNP you must contact Alberta directly after receiving this letter. Note that this letter of interest is not a guarantee that you will be nominated by Alberta. You will first have to satisfy Alberta that you meet the requirements of their program. You can find general information about each province or territory's PNP program on the website. You will also find a link to Alberta's PNP requirements and contact information. General information: If a province or territory nominates you through Express Entry and you accept the PNP nomination you will be allocated an additional 600 points in the Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System. This means you will likely receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence under the Provincial Nominee Program. If you accept a nomination, you are indicating to both Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and that provincial or territorial jurisdiction that you intend to live in that province or territory and that you will comply with any other provincial or territorial program requirements. Once you accept a nomination, your profile will no longer be visible to other provinces and territories, so you will not be considered for nomination by other jurisdictions. You will also not be considered for federal economic programs in Express Entry. If a province or territory nominates you and you decline the PNP nomination, you will not be invited to apply under Alberta's nominee program. It is possible to be nominated by more than one province or territory, but you may only accept one nomination. If you decline the nomination, you will stay in the Express Entry pool of candidates. You will still be eligible to receive invitations to apply under the federal immigration programs (Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and/or Canadian Experience Class). As well, other provinces and territories (if applicable) will be able to see your profile for future consideration. You are not obligated to: contact a province or territory that is interested in you, or accept a nomination from a province or territory. However, if you do not accept a nomination, there is no guarantee that you will be nominated by another province or territory, or that you will be invited to apply under a federal economic program in Express Entry.
jomel galam You’re welcome! You can if you really want to. Remember I was also just an applicant last year. Next thing I know PR na ako. However, please bear in mind na hindi madali, it will take some of your time, it will take some time, magastos atbp. Pero kakayanin! At once na-approve ang application mo in the future, lahat ng sacrifices mo will surely payoff. ☺️ If you have other questions please let me know para masagot ko (if alam ko). I’d appreciate if you’ll post your questions here para mabasa rin ng iba (in case same kayo ng question ng iba tao). Thank you and good luck! 🤙🏻
Sir pagdating mo sa canada following this entry visa is nurse na agad? Pwede mag ask ng salaray range? 😅 -kung okay lang. tnx Ofw na rin but looking for another place para maiba nmn.
You will enter Canada via Immigrant Visa. You will land as a Permanent Resident. Hindi agad makakapag practice as nurse kasi need muna magpa-assess sa NNAS www.nnas.ca As of today, around $40CAD/hour ang salary ng RN in Canada. It varies from one province to another.
NNAS is not about approval or not approval. They do assessment and determine if Comparable or Not Comparable ang Nursing education mo from Ph VS sa quality ng Nursing education in Canada. If comparable (which is most of the time hindi) ang nursing eduction mo, then derecho NCLEX ka na. No need na mag aral. If not comparable (madalas ganito kapag pinoy nurses. Hindi lahat pero madalas), then need mo mag aral. And yung duration ng aral ay depende sa number of gaps na na-identify.
@@PaulRN yes po and been practicing since early 2018. @@lesterquejada736 I see. If you really want to pursue Canada in the future, try to get more experience. Regardless of your designation (clinic nurse, company nurse, hospital nurse, etc) as long as you function as Registered Nurse ay considered sa Express Entry application. I computed my work experience by duration of stay. Here’s an illustration of what I did: Work 1 - January 2015 - May 2015 = 4 months Work 2 - September 2015 - February 2016 = 5 months And so on. That’s how I did it during my application.

Hi! Can I ask you regarding on the work experience? Did you need to submit proof of employment and bank slips from the past 10 years when you worked in a certain clinic/hospital? Or should proof of employment enough to submit to support your application? Thank you!
Hello! You need to submit proof of employment: 1. COE 2. Job Description 3. Contract - I know this could be challenging. What I did, I tried asking my previous employers first. Unfortunately I was not given a copy. My resolution for this, I created an affidavit explaining that I exhausted all efforts to acquire the document but my previous employers just can’t issue me my work contract anymore and the only thing that can support my previous employment was COE and Job Description. Bank slip? You mean pay slip from your previous employers? No. I hope this helps. ☺️
@@PaulRN Thank you for that! I really appreciate it. Yeah, the bank slips which I am talking about are your bank statements while you are employed to a certain company to support your application, have you not submitted such? Thanks again😊
You’re welcome! I did not submit. But you may add it as proof. It is not required but you may do so as additional supporting document. Just remember that the most important thing about the employment part are COE, JD, and Contract.
@@klefmallo1658 What do you mean by appointment letter? Is this something about your employment? Contract is yung document na pinipirmahan upon hiring. Dun po nakalagay yung duties and responsibilities pati benefits.
You can lodge your application kahit 327 lang. you can also wait for your IELTS din but I think it wont make too much difference. In order for you to receive an ITA dapat ang score niyo is around 460 to 470 CRS. But don’t worry, low CRS ako, I waited for PNP :) Hence, kahit mababa CRS basta in demand ang NOC, may chance maka receive ng PNP. Kung gaano ka slim or high ung chance? That Im not sure.
Angela Sebastian YES! The reason hindi kasama ang Canada sa ban is because kapag nag apply ka and na-approve yung application mo, hindi ka naman bibigyan ng Working Visa eh, ang ibibgay po sayo ay Immigrant Visa and COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence).
Here is the link
www.cno.org/en/become-a-nurse/registration-requirements/education/faqs-nclex-rn-as-educational-requirement-for-iens/
(can’t speak for other provinces pero chances are similar lang or may konting diff)
CNO:
1. Nursing Education
2. Evidence of Practice (dapat may work exp ka as RN in the past 3 years)
3. Registration Exam (NCLEX-RN)
4. Jurisprudence Exam
5. Language Proficiency (IELTS Acad/CELBAN or waive it then send letter/s)
6. Authorization to Work (PR, Canadian Citizen, Open Work Permit)
7. Police Criminal Record Check
8. Character Conduct and Health - Declaration
9. Other Registeation

Hi Paul, first of all thank you for sharing loads of informative videos about the application process of IEN in Canada. TIA.
Hello Fe.
I would highly suggest to secure your status in Canada muna before applying for NNAS. Or, start applying for NCLEX while working on your Express Entry.

Literal na back to zero pag dating especially if regulated yung job mo like me.

your or your spouse’s sibling (child of your or your spouse’s parent)

your or your spouse’s niece or nephew (grandchild of your or your spouse’s parent)

3. Yung partner ko naman po ay meron 1 year IT experience as category B. pano po natin i-ccount yung point nya?
example as below po: ( All IT JOBS ).
1 year continuously sa company A - NOC123
6 months sa company B -- NOC456
3 months sa company C - NOC987
consider as 1.75 years po ba sya? or NOC123 lahat dapat ang ilagay namin dahil yun lang ang 1 year experience?
Salamat po sa pag reply sir Paul! Looking forward to more videos
1. Pag hindi po umabot at least 67 points. Hindi po magiging eligible for Express Entry. Yun po kasi ang unang requirement. You may try AIPP (tho wala po ako alam dito sa AIPP process kasi hindi ko ito nagawa personally) Official link below for reference:
www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/atlantic-immigration-pilot/eligibility-high-skilled.html

Certificate of empployment?
Isa pang requirement para maging eligible at makapag apply sa AINP, dapat maka receive ang isang Express Entry applicant ng NOI or Notice of Interest from the Government of Alberta.
Hello po.. possible pa rin po ba makuha ang parents even I have my own family na po to be with me in Canada?
Yes po you can. Pero medyo challenging ngayon ang pagkuha ng parents especially if you have your own family na. Others are opting Super Visa for their parents.
www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/parent-grandparent-super-visa.html
One thing is for sure, mas madali mo makukuha ang family (Spouse, Child/children). Or if pag nag apply po ikaw and you declared them in your application, sabay sabay kayo pupunta ng Canada once your application is approved.

Minimum of 1 year pwede na. Pero I strongly recommend na at least 6 years or more. Why? Because the longer work experience you have, the higher points you get.

Below is the actual NOI I received from them:
Dear,
The Government of Alberta is interested in considering you for nomination under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express Entry.
General information:
If a province or territory nominates you through Express Entry and you accept the PNP nomination you will be allocated an additional 600 points in the Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System.
You are not obligated to:
contact a province or territory that is interested in you, or
accept a nomination from a province or territory.
However, if you do not accept a nomination, there is no guarantee that you will be nominated by another province or territory, or that you will be invited to apply under a federal economic program in Express Entry.
@@PaulRN thank you po sa information that you gave. Im a also an RN here in Pinas na gusto rin umasenso. Thank you and God bless you
jomel galam You’re welcome!
If you have other questions please let me know para masagot ko (if alam ko).
😅 -kung okay lang. tnx
Ofw na rin but looking for another place para maiba nmn.
You will enter Canada via Immigrant Visa. You will land as a Permanent Resident.
Hindi agad makakapag practice as nurse kasi need muna magpa-assess sa NNAS www.nnas.ca
As of today, around $40CAD/hour ang salary ng RN in Canada. It varies from one province to another.
Ano work sir after entering canada? While waiting ng nnas?
Ilang months po ung waiting time for approval?
You can do any work you want as long as kaya mo. Wala restrictions kapag PR.
Sir, are you pursuing your career now as a nurse there in Canada? Or may ibang job ka?
Hi Sir, yes po. I started my NNAS application in December and currently waiting for my AR (Advisory Report).
@@lesterquejada736 are you planning to apply through Express Entry din ba? RN ka rin po ba?
@@PaulRN yes po and been practicing since early 2018. 2 years and 6 mos din ako sa isang kilalang hospital sa BGC but most of it as a company nurse assigned at one of their clients bali offsite company nurse kami then when the pandemic happened I transferred to CCU same hospital pa din.
@@lesterquejada736 I see. If you really want to pursue Canada in the future, try to get more experience. Regardless of your designation (clinic nurse, company nurse, hospital nurse, etc) as long as you function as Registered Nurse ay considered sa Express Entry application.
Then aim for high IELTS score.
hi, do they compute the work experience by the hour ba? or just literally how many months or years you were employed?
I computed my work experience by duration of stay.
Here’s an illustration of what I did:
Work 1 - January 2015 - May 2015 = 4 months
Work 2 - September 2015 - February 2016 = 5 months
And so on. That’s how I did it during my application.
Hi po nasa magkano po expenses niyo po?
Around 650k po.
Let me put it this way:
Processing, Medical, IELTS, Review, WES, etc 150k PHP
Proof of Funds 500k PHP
Love Ruben here’s the breakdown (approximately)
IELTS review: 5k
IELTS Exam General Training Module: 10k
Agency: 45k
WES (World Education Services) 10k
Express Entry Application Fee: 45k
Medical: 15k
Proof of Funds: 500k
Approximately: 600k++
Please note na di mo naman gagastusin agad yung proof of funds/show money. Also, yung mga ibang fee hindi naman isang bagsakan kasi step by step naman.
Love Ruben I will!! I’ll create a video kung how much yung breakdown ng gastos para magka-idea kayo. ☺️
Ano agency mo Sir?
Hello! I signed up with Canadian Immigration Specialist. Parang ka sister company niya yung Niners IELTS review noon. However, yung office ng consultant ko before who helped me with my application sa Express Entry ay sarado na. 🙁
Thank you Sir.
Hi! Can I ask you regarding on the work experience? Did you need to submit proof of employment and bank slips from the past 10 years when you worked in a certain clinic/hospital? Or should proof of employment enough to submit to support your application? Thank you!
Hello!
You need to submit proof of employment:
1. COE
2. Job Description
How about appointment letter sir? Is it the same as contract po? Thank you.
@@klefmallo1658 What do you mean by appointment letter? Is this something about your employment?
Contract is yung document na pinipirmahan upon hiring. Dun po nakalagay yung duties and responsibilities pati benefits.
thank you for sharing😊
Sir, for example 327 CRS score ng wife ko pwede n ba i submit ang score na yon? or antayin nalang yung ielts ko since plan ko mah take this june??
You can lodge your application kahit 327 lang. you can also wait for your IELTS din but I think it wont make too much difference.
In order for you to receive an ITA dapat ang score niyo is around 460 to 470 CRS. But don’t worry, low CRS ako, I waited for PNP :)
Hence, kahit mababa CRS basta in demand ang NOC, may chance maka receive ng PNP. Kung gaano ka slim or high ung chance? That Im not sure.
Hi po nasa magkano po expenses niyo po?
Angela Sebastian hello, here’s the breakdown (approximately)
IELTS review: 5k
IELTS Exam General Training Module: 10k

Angela Sebastian YES!
Great help po kasi.
