You take away home plate collisions because of buster Posey you take away takeout slides because of the Mets player and Chase Utley and I realized it can be difficult to know a hundred percent if someone did something on purpose although most major league pitchers are capable of putting a 98 mph fastball right into the glove and if you're missing by three and a half feet more often than not it's intentional. They may not try to hit someone in the head or whatever but it's not a common occurrence that a fastball mrs. By that much at that level. But we're talkin about guys that throw 93 + miles an hour. It's not just the head that's a risk.
