I have the same AC 200 Max. But I hooked mine 100% different NOT using the van's battery (I need & want to know that I will have full power to start the van after a couple of days). I cut the end of the Andersson plug off (that's the funny looking red/black contact, mostly used in the USA) so I had the black and red wires (- & +) that I wired that to a fuse box (look at Mel's Big Van Small World on YT). The 30amp from the Bluetti powers everything in my van at the same time. Has an added bonus. You can also hook up to any EV car station and charge up the Bluetti when you have no solar, just need to buy the adaptor. Super cheap and sometimes even free!
We use the same model Bluetti to power our whole van including the diesel heater ( fridge, lights, water pump, etc) We ran the power out via the same 30A RV cable, into a BlueSeas 6 place fuse block mounted right near the Bluetti. From there the individual power supplies are run in fuse protected circuits. Our diesel heater power harness lead came with 25A fusing, which seemed way too big for its 16ga. wire. We instead use a 15A breaker, and I might even go down to 12. The van's alternator supplies plenty of input charge to keep the Bluetti topped off, since we tend to drive to new locations frequently. Warm regards!
It’s such a great option! If I had more things hooked up eg water pump or vent fan then I would’ve definitely done a fuse box too! But until then it’s fairly simple just using the usual outlets
Just watched all your van build videos in 1 hit, you've done a great job, never seen a van which main powered was a power station like yours, I think its a great idea, can you attach a fuse box and wire sockets lights and fridge so you'd only use 1 outlet?
Thanks for watching 😊 yes, I’ve seen a lot of people do it the fuse box way, I just wanted to keep it as simple as possible, if I ever need too I can wire it that way at some point in the future
Add some heat shrink around those crimped therminals. Driving around will vibrate them loose. And maybe a vent in the cabinet your heater is in, it will have less resistance to draw air.
It’s been working really well so far! Without any solar input at all it would probably last about 4 days powering only the fridge, lights and charging my phone
Great video! I just got the same BLUETTI and was hoping someone was doing this setup. Thanks so much for the help figuring out what wires to use.

Surprised you didn't name this "Crimping with Shannon" 🤣 Nicely done.
I’m a crimping pro now 😅

Any update? Did it keep working?

How is this working for you now?
Diesel heater has been working so great! No issues at all so im super impressed!
Hey Shannon. How are you finding the power station in general? How long does it last without solar power??

I love your van🚐
