That low launcher is mental because its a low throw as well and everyone is trained to block low against shang in old form.

Looking at old Shang Tsung alongside Goro reminds me so much at the 1st MK

I've been using Stryker, his good at getting a restand and continuing pressure with old shangs main combo string. Also giving him mix ups which is a department where he lacks of, and giving him more projectile pressure with the bombs.
Also, after his bnb, if you end with d2 instead of injection, you get oki with strykers close bombs that makes you reqlly plus
Goro also makes your wakeups safe.
Although I've been more into Stryker since I like to abuse B4 because of its pushback and it being 0 on block. B4+Back Grenades is a free blockstring that leads into a +6 overhead or a +1 low. They cant poke out of the overhead cause it comes out very fast but it can be armored. Being +6 means your D4 is guaranteed to connect and the pushback on it is also good.

I started messing around with the same shit today.
right now i use sektor because of his missles, zoning with that and triple skulls is deadly and it does a ton of chip

Goro for Shang is easily the coolest kameo since it pays homage to the original MK. By the way, the f3, 4 example with young form isn’t very relevant as you can just switch to old for after f3 and do the usual string into fireball to launch.
I still think Lao is better for SS since he improves your zoning and also has much faster cooldown.
I assume you mean f4,3 while that is true sometimes you just throw the full string out in young and for that it's useful. Also I don't want to do the same stuff over and over again otherwise I'll get bored quickly 😅 And yes Kung Lao is much stronger

Goro has strong moves, but they have by far the longest regeneration time of all kameos. stomp takes over 30 seconds and the launcher half of that (while laos hat for example is 2 seconds). he also gives you minus 50 health and only 110 throw damage. theres nothing op about him.
If they buff his cooldowns and HP he would be better indeed but in this case it's just amazing that he allows you to combo off of any move shang has
This is great but tbh I still feel like Shang Tsung’s weakness isn’t his launchers. It’s ways he can open you up without resorting to transforming into another character. He has lows but like not really anything to threaten overhead. I’ve said it once I’ll say it again. If they simply made Young Shang’s forward 3 bounce the opponent for follow up combos that entire problem would be fixed.
But ya’ll ain’t ready for top tier Shang
You can condition your oponnent to ducking and using goros throw so you can launch them. This is just one example you gotta be creative with shang its not Mkx style mix like Johnny has
im trying to find a kameo for him. atm im using serena as i transform in to my opponent and she works well with everyone.
Subzero is still the safest option imo but sareena is very similar to him
Shang really lacks overheads so I just use darrius for mix ups and big combos

@@Raivazz You maining Goro now? I'm still using Sub. Mainly because as I learn the rest of the cast for shapeshift reasons, Sub just kinda works well with everyone without needing too much tech for each
@@CopperFGC sub is still the safest option and much easier to win with. I'm trying to get some matches in with goro and see if I can make it work
