Wanted to say I checked out other assists like goro and cyrax EXTENSIVELY aswell as asking other top ashrah players like hayate about what they thought about goros assist and they seem to be on the same page as me and believe it doesn’t have as much value as say sereena, and is clearly a worse choice in almost every match up, so I decided not to include them as they did not seem to be optimal choices or even very good choices at all, if you like them feel free to pick them though!
Interesting! Why do you think scorpion is a better choice over goro when both let you combo off of a throw but goro gives plus frames too? Would love to hear your input since you’re like one of the best players in the world
@@dielol8172surprisingly being able to be plus more often doesn’t really help a character that’s always plus anyway, goro does allow for making her launcher go into pressure and that’s strong for Lao but Lao uses that as a last resort because his way of restarting pressure is dangerous while ashrahs is not! Goro simply doesn’t have a worth while effect, but also run him if you like! Again goro and scorpion is very similar

I was hoping to see this mentioned at some point in the video but you can actually get an additional bit of damage if you delay Aerial 1 into a landing F2 into the bread and butter DF3 112BF2. It's a gorgeous amount of damage.
The whole string (with Sareena) is: F2 -> B Kameo -> F42 -> B Kameo -> F-Dash S4 -> Ex-DF3 -> Delay A1 -> Landing F2 -> Ex-DF3 -> 122 Ex-BF2 [Full Meter and 2/2 Kameo] Depending on your resources, you can change stuff around. Combo changes if you do F21 because the crumple state changes the aerial properties. I've just found that the combo I listed above maxes out damage. Of course, I'm always messing around with different conversions and stuff. LMK if you'd like to theorycraft together! :) Does around 444 damage or something. Cant remember off the top of my head. Its also important to note that your Delay A1 -> Landing F2 can be combo'd into the Fatal Blow. Its actually disgusting how easy it is to convert with Ashrah on a 300+ damage combo at any moment.

Hello! Thank you very much for the guide. I have a question regarding armor; sometimes I notice that it lets some attacks through, for example, b2b2 with Sub-Zero. The first hit is blocked, but the second one manages to hit Ashra in 2 out of 10 cases. How does this work? Thanks!

I understand why you saying Dark stance projectile is worse than light but YoungMonster played solely in Dark stance vs Dragon's Light stance and beat Dragon out of COTR Week 6. Look at his gameplay because he's pretty good it's on Destroyers Champions Of The Realms tournament. Tweedy won it with Baraka/Stryker he was on fire. Abd YoungMonster is a very strong Ashrah player according to top players and he's done well against SonicFox in private sets that was streamed. Crazy pressure off dark stance because her Teleport makes several strings +1 when blocked. Not saying your wrong i just think Dark Stance can be very strong shes just played very different than Light Stance because she goes from space control neutral style to rushdown/space control
Been running with kenshi for a few months but going back to ashra. Kenshi's hit box horrible resulting in a major disadvantage against most characters. You have to be precise with his hits

@@Titaniumtigerzz any tips on how to get 100% times a grab or attack after dark teleport? In practice mode i set mileena to attack after first blocked hit with her f1 wich is 13 frames, so i can make sure i have enough frames to land grab wich is 10 frames minus 2 frames out of frame advantage, but in 9 of 10 times i wiffed. This tactic seems very unreliable cuz you just can get outspammed to a full combo punish, unless you are perfect framed every hit/grab after portal, or you can just play safe and cancel tp but again you are losing pressure and if you are close enough you get punished.
her projectile feels slow vs shang tsung/HomeL and more is like yh,,,,, its not for use then, if not in a combo the can be stopped and hurt, anyw vs some characters her`s projectile is oki. hmm, i loved ur vid. maybe i need advise here ... zoming her vs fast projectile is a challenge with good players..

You can combo with scorpion assist but it’s not worth it imo
I've been able to combo into it with Sonya, but the timing is pretty tight and the meter use isn't always worth it lol
