ACE Performance fabricated a true dual exhaust for this car consisting of dual 63mm midpipes and and X-pipe. Resonator and secondary cats were removed previously. These mods really make the car sound amazing!

If it has an X-pipe then it's not a "true dual". A true dual has one separate exhaust pipe per bank and they don't communicate.

Cool, thanks for the explanation. Would it sound better if it were true dual?

@@chucks_garage987 Not really. True dual only sounds "right" on old muscle and trucks (and even there it's down to preferences), it doesn't sound good on other V8s in my opinion. Plus the lack of scavenging without an X-pipe on a modern engine would result in a noticeable decrease in torque I think.

The car sounds great with the x pipe. All the local guys also do the x pipe on their Amg's. It does feel like my car gained a bit of extra power from it.

@@chucks_garage987 Yes X-pipes are known to increase low and mid-range torque due to the scavenging effect. I also agree that they sound good !
