You should make a updated combat rotation guide revo friendly and also fully manual users so everyone can boss like a pro
Can you do please a rotation guide for range bis with dracolich armour. Like a low effort rotation/mid effort rotatrion and absolutly sweat rotation. love

To answer your question. Yes i like these long form videos, i think this one was very well since you gave the information and your own thoughts and laid out the pros and cons and is very refreshing and different from other videos where you kinda feel inclined that you're missing out since they hype it up so much its the new meta kinda feeling.
Going over your rotation in a video would be amazing. I'd copy and paste it in my brain and just practice it. You were putting out some HUGE numbers. I have 5/5 Elite Drac, and the Bow, need the essence of finality switches, have the quivers, just need to know a pro rotation like yours :). Thank you so much! Amazing video!

Could you include a simple pre build and rotation and how the use of cinderbanes affects it since you'll only get in two abilities after crit buff? I'm currently throwing sgb, Grico and snapshot after rapid fire when on only 4 pieces of Edrac to get poison damage too
Range as a glass cannon makes sense to me.
Good Video and Summary, only thing I miss in your cost section are the perks. BIS Perks like C4 E2 etc. are quite expensive/annoying to get too and are imo an important part of the cost.
7:56 - 8:15, and 18:52 - sums up my thoughts as well, nice to hear it from a pro! ranged can absolutely pop off on super hard content like very high enrage zammy/telos. the effort/reward ratio is heavily skewed though my biggest thing is not being very revo friendly. I don't mind manually casting thresholds like i do that with necro, but trying to do all that while swapping quivers and manually everything is pretty daunting . could you learn it? yeah but its like why do that if you already got the boss on farm with another style outside of just using it cuz you like it/for fun ofc.
I do see ranged being important for future bosses since it has the highest burst potential to help skip phases more reliably(or 2nd highest i think maybe melee could reach higher? now im hoping maybe you can do a BiS melee guide in the future!
I'm def not a pro with range lol. Its so hard to get absolute peak output with it (Wen + Ful micro-ing, bolg stack micro-ing, adren management, etc. is so hard to master LOL)
Have you tried those in hm kerapac?was thinking if ill make. A difference since the new 30k hit was implemented,im kinda struglling in hm kera

I prob should have tried kera more but range is insanely good there. Range seems especially strong at places you can get an adren reset, like Zammy/Kera

I was doing some hm vorki last night and spikes are now selling for about 11m each setting t90 dracolitch at over 1b by it self.
Isn’t that overhead prayer split soul? Does it work with other styles other than necromancy?
That's the eldrich crossbow eof spec, not the necro incantation (they changed the overhead icon for all forms of splitsoul with the combat update)
So are blightsbounds good? I have dual blights, dual prasuel, a scourge and off H Khop t92, a dragon rider lance for 2H aoe, the Omni and soul lantern. Are my weapons fine? I can pvm any boss. My armor is lacking tho. Melee I have masterwork, range sirenic and pernix, tectonic and virtus, and then t90 necro tank and t90 necro power armor. Any boss I can use necro it’s almost unfiair, my necro lvl is 111. But I’ve recently enjoyed doing the OG Dag kings and have made almost 600m in 3 days from ring drops also got 2 pets from 3k kills. I’m thinking of getting a eldlich cbow not sure or upgrading my necro armor to t95 and doing high enrage zammy to get a bow to sell.
Depends what you want. If you just want to get a single end game kit ASAP (I'd recommend this strategy), go the necro route. The gear is pretty cheap and insanely strong + easy to use.
Range is strong but reqs like 2-3b in gear to start shining (SGB + DBow EOF + grico) . I think bows > xbows right now because deathspore + god arrows are really strong (plus incend is 2h only so you don't have to switch weapons at all)
If you wanna go melee, I'd get scourge + jaws (basically free at this point lol) and some vestments of havoc. Really good items. Gbarge is a must, Chaos roar is good, GFury is good. Zuk cape is insane too

Really it depends what you wanna do for how you upgrade your gear. Maybe I should make an upgrade priority video ;)

Dark bow or zammy bow eof …. What’s better as you can hit 16/17k x 2 with the zammy and do another hit after for 36 adren each, d bow is 60% for one go but hit 25ks

Do dragon darts also work instead of the blowpipe? I remember hearing that somewhere...
Yes, but the reason you use the blowpipe is because its a 2h weapon, so it works when overriding the bolg. Darts are only for DWs
@@FroggieGamesAhh totally forgot that you needed different overrides for 2h/dw... Is there any similar benefit for Mage/melee/necro? Or is that 1 tick sooner override thing only for ranged?
This only exists for range bc every other style doesn't have a 'travel time' on its hits. @@GeorgeAlexanderTrebek
you should do a video for every combat style.... as well with required and the extra stuff like switches and abilties for every style
I feel like there's just a small group of people in the 1% that actually pre-build and go for speed kills. These are the people that don't like the critical strike buffs, but for average people I think it's a decent change

Deci eof is really good but you can always just use chins + offhand to do a similar thing. Def should have one of the two tho.
The god bows/seercull are interesting but I think they're mostly just trying to be the dbow but worse. The heal is ok but not worth the 30%, gcd, and eof switch, imo
I'll hear ya for its not meta all day but for casual bis ranged when you can splurge on it for the fun of it? It's fun to throw in there retested it last night and I consistently get 1400-1600 heal splats so 6 splits so for me it's almost consistently 9600~ worth of healing for the cost of 30 adren, and considering how easy adren is to get in ranged right now it's worth throwing in once per Dswift just to keep topped off without using food and pots. Am I going to prioritize it over sgb/dbow/ecb specs? Nah but it is nice to use right before splitsoul to counter the fact that your ss won't heal you for a bit. Or after you splitsoul. Decimation is just fun and makes the aoe-able mobs disappear in elite dungeons. Plus it's nice to not have to swap to dw for aoe so I don't lose the 9s passives. I mean at the end of the day, adrenaline in ranged set ups where you have adren renewals, limitless, drathspore, elite dracolich rapid-fire, necro nexus for defensive adren building abilities, you can literally d swift, incendiary shot, and divert into nature's instinct and you have pretty much infinite adren for like 20 seconds add on to that if you are using dw you could add hydrix into the mix. The game is just so fun when you try to do crazy stuff as opposed to meta, not that there's anything wrong with meta set ups or whatever I just enjoy wackiness. Oh and ring of death and asr swaps for added adren for canon fodder and thresholds specifically lol
and if your unlucky another 750m-1B+ getting the right perks for your gear

Blight swaps for hydrix/ruby/onyx are useful as well

@@Ungulate1 I mean you can, but if you already have ecb eof'd then it's still a cbow and will still mess up the charging effect of dracolith so might as well take advantage of the needstrike and additional dw options

It's true, it's sorta a bug, but it's been around a long time
its not suppose to but you know, jamflex being jamflex they have a bug that will never be fixed
Range is a advanced combat skill imo. You'll need to become better with manual inputs. Range heavily relies on crit dmg. Melee can crit AND burst while magic has tank. Necro is still good for about 90% of combat in the game
You can use saragodbow in eof for heals and onyx bolts....

Range at max efficiency is the best combat style. The problem is nobody wants to be tick perfect all the time

I think for most people its better to either A) Look into melee, ESPECIALLY if you're looking to farm Zamorak. Melee is fantastic there and a little more relaxed since you really only need claws EoF. B) Use Necro for other content besides Zamorak since its only weaker than optimal ranged by a small amount, or C) Pick up Magic gear now for cheap and wait a few months for Magic FSoA/Etect buffs, which Jagex have already said they plan to work on. Its worth mentioning that Melee doesn't have tank gear, BUT it does have vamp scrimshaw which is really really good. And since melee can function without crit buffs its pretty nice to run on content such as 500% Zamorak.

I like the content, but there’s a lot of fluff due to it being unscripted. A lot of fat could be trimmed out and the vid would be more enjoyable. I get that it’s a lot more work on your end though. Thanks for your thoughts!
True. Mix between ramble and unrambled videos would be fine. Some scripted, some unscripted.

zammy bow instead of DBow is viable its 40% spec for 10% less avg dmg
i dont think your average pvmer will be able to upkeep this setup. so id say no, its not worth it for your average pvmer to get bis range.

Greater ricochet fell so much when i bought it 2020 was 1.6b plus praesul codex for ranged just those 2 are equal to what full t95 necro with best perks cost
Why do you dismiss Achto Tempest as not being Tank armor? It's not just range armor with no strength bonus, it has a massive defense bonus, damage reduction, and it resets defensive abilities ( the ones the mods hate for being too strong ) and is effective way to play a tank style in all bosses. I don't want to put words in your mouth, but it sounds like you just want to have a combination with no down sides.

All combat styles will become ridiculously expensive (even necro) over time due to how content is released. Guess it is how important BIS is to the player, since you don't even it to complete any content in the game.

I don't even use range and this video shows how absolutely ridiculous the style is. A soft overwork is well overdue, absolutely no reason people should still be swapping nine different pieces of gear and pre-casting on dummies and all this nonsense.

Rs3 bosses suck. Not worth the investment in either way because you will just spend more gp paying death instead of gaining some nice gp of these unkillable bosses.
