I would imagine the only way records could be of value is if they were still factory sealed and never played. I can see that being of value to a collector. But some old lady’s crates of records she’s had and been playing since the 40s… Most of them are probably damaged anyway, no?

Livia. Its one thing to abandon your kid. Some kids are better off without parents that don’t want them… Its another thing to try to have your child killed. That’s a level of evil I have never seen and haven’t seen since.

For me, that scene after Tony gets shot and Livia and Jun are watching it on the news basically confirms that Livia knew what she was doing, or at least was aware of the "repercussions". "How could this have happened?" "You realize what this means, Olivia?!" "My son got shot...and he got away."

I'll admit, I don't find it to be a bad thing that Janice clipped Richie lol. x) But as for who's worse, I'll give a particular argument for why it's Janice: While it also makes her a "survivor" as Aida Turturro phrases it, Janice's integrity is nonexistent. Like a chameleon, she will turn herself into what she believes is profitable, or what other people want her to be. In the present day, she would be all in on being an influencer and getting into the grift economy. Throughout the early seasons she's a mooching layabout, and when she later becomes a mother she takes up constantly complaining like Livia. Twisted as she was, Livia never hid her true self or tried to put up a front to gain favor. As Mikazian said about Tony, with Livia you "knew where you stood". I'd rather know a constantly miserable person than someone who's always being fake to get something out of it.

She was in like one or 2 scenes and barely spoke so we really know nothing about her but she seems normal and not at all like Janice and tony and it doesn’t seem like she’s all messed up the way they r then again maybe she’s even worse then both of them and we just don’t know it. But I’d be really interested in finding out more about Barbara and seeing if maybe she was able to grow up to be completely normal with no problems like her siblings
I’d like to see a video about who’s more annoying and unlikable between aj and meadow. I always hated aj and thought he was such a spoiled whiny crybaby, and he is, but every time I rewatch The show the more and more I grow to hate Meadow and realize that she was so much worse than I thought. She’s also spoiled and relies on her parents for everything while at the same time whenever she fights with them she always talks about how she’s an independent adult and can take care of herself, she criticizes her father for being a gangster And criticizes their whole lifestyle but whenever anyone else does she defends them and talks about them as if they’re noble heros that didn’t have a choice and were forced into that life. And even though she’s smart she definitely thinks she’s way smarter than she is the way she’s so condescending and talks down to people and seems to act as if some people r beneath her especially her parents who again completely support her and r the reason she’s even able to go to Columbia in the first place. So overall even though I think AJ is a spoiled whiny waste of life, I think Meadow is even worse; she is also spoiled and rude and a hypocrite

People who just mess with you for the joy of messing with you are potentially way more dangerous than regular con men because they just never stop.
as someone with a sibling, nothing about janice’s relationship with tony seemed out of the ordinary. well, other than her shooting a man …
This is a damn good question honestly
Bof are insufferable
His mother was a bigger threat, his sister was just annoying and added to general stress (not actively dangerous).
Janice completely played her therapist
Livia by far she single handedly caused a War between Tony and Jnr manipulating both of them against each other which resulted in the death of Mikey those two black guys that other guy Tony shot on the boat she ruined Johnny's life when he tried to become more Legit putting him down she ruined Tony's life showing him no Love whatsoever despite Tony trying his hardest. Janice was bad but not Evil like her Mother. Lets not forget Livia spilt the beans on Tony burning down Artie's restaurant which nearly caused him to kill him.
As someone who worked in a second hand record shop for 10+ years, I can say with confidence that those records are absolutely worthless, when someone would bring that stuff in we'd never buy it because it's not worth the 5p they'd sell for to put the sticker on them, then we'd probably end up giving them away for free anyway cause nobody wants that shit
I would imagine the only way records could be of value is if they were still factory sealed and never played. I can see that being of value to a collector. But some old lady’s crates of records she’s had and been playing since the 40s… Most of them are probably damaged anyway, no?
@@Boobalopbop that's a big maybe, but still more than likely worthless. There were so so so many copies pressed and bought in that era that there's a surplus still around and barely anyone that buys it, if anyone. Most people who have them are looking to get rid of them, so even sealed you're looking at maybe 50p or £1 max if you're lucky enough to sell it to anyone else other than someone looking to just have records for decoration on a shelf or put it on their wall or something. 10p shitters as we'd call em. You're right they'd definitely be in pretty rough condition, never cleaned, as they were so common back then a lot of people didn't look after the well, especially when their kids usually got hold of them and tried to put them on scratching em up
@@haywoodjablomi2529 Daaaaaaamn. Not even worth the trip to the store 🤣
What do you mean Livia is bad? She gave her kids her life on a silver platter.
Livia, because Tony did not fantasize suffocating Janice with a pillow.
You should do a crossover. Who was worse: Michael Corleone or Anthony Soprano??
Good question!! Also Michael because he had no guilt.
Corleone killed his brother, his mother's son, no contest
@@patclau006at least Tony actually regretted when he had to kill a direct family member (Tony blundetto) and only did it to spare him from a slow and painful death by Phil leotardo
I think Livia was the worst....she created, and raised, Janice and Tony. Barb was the only remotely normal one. And she was smart enough to get OUT.
They Were Both Terrible
Hey ST... It's not a nursing home... It's a Retirement Community!! (as per Tony, Carmella, Janice, Junior, etc, etc LOL)
I'd say Livia, I don't think Janice actually hated Tony like his mother did
Like mother like daughter I would say Livia was evil
So you’re telling me women are the issue?
Olivia was worse. She has mentally scarred Tony and tried to have him whacked twice. She also almost constantly guilt tripped him. Janice was bad but she had times when they showed they cared for one another. Also the whole cast of sopranos was spot on.
Who was worse for Tony, I’d say Livia
Who was worse for the viewers-Janice all day.
The fact that we all hated these two so much shows what a great job Aida Turturro and Nancy Marchand did playing these roles.
Janice knocked off Richie which was the best hit on the series, so she gets my props no matter how fucked up she was.
Livia is less worse
She doesn’t hide how nasty she is compared to janice
Counter point, livia is worse because she tried to have Tony killed multiple times
@@jakealter5504 so did Janice
When she was with Richie
@@james94482 true but Richie was already considering doing it, she didn’t try manipulating one of Tony’s friends to do it like livia did

Tony was trying to sell Liv’s house, and Janice took down the sign.
it's livia, all the way without question
Livia was born in an era where depression was fun , so she has an excuse unlike Janice
I think both Janice and Livia were horrendous, but lets not forhet Livia was Janice's mother, as well as Tony and Barbara's. Barbara Soprano got lucky she didnt end up like either of her older siblings, but Tony and Janice, are the products of how they were raised by Livia, and of course Johnny Soprano.
And tony had to deal with livia a lot longer than Janice did
@@jakealter5504 oh yeah, Big Time. On a side note, when I saw David Chase on an interview many years ago, and he said that he based Livia Soprano on his own mother, I nearly fell out of my chair. Especially when he said that Livia, was a carbon copy of his mother.
Um akshually, Janice dated Aaron in Season 3. 🤓 For real though, great video!
I will never understand how a horrible lady like Janice managed to get so many lovers and a husband like Bobby.
Bobby was the only good relationship she had in the series, Richie and Ralph were monsters
I was always so saddened to see how badly Janice treats and speaks to her own daughter in the final season. It's like you know exactly what that poor child is in for by the time she starts having her own independent thoughts. God, I can't stand Janice.
Livia. Its one thing to abandon your kid. Some kids are better off without parents that don’t want them… Its another thing to try to have your child killed. That’s a level of evil I have never seen and haven’t seen since.
Tony was already a murderer by that time…
Lucia was worse for sure
I think Livia is far worse too. No one has the kind of power that a mother does in your life. Those things cut deeper I think. Tony was always able to control Janet to a certain extent. She was just after money. Livia was just hateful.
The best scene was Carmellas' meltdown after Livias' service. Then her father starts. That was great.
Janice would never put a hit on Tony. Plus, Janice killing Ritchie is a big plus. Not to mention putting a beat down on a soccer mom.
What are you talking about?? She absolutely egged Richie on with pissing him off and wanting him to kill Tony and she was visibly angry and disappointed when Richie did not get the decision to have Tony killed in his favor.
@@JGJGAGSG wow . I think you're right. I kind of remember Janice pushing Ritchie to move on Tony now.
Too close to call. Both manipulated men to try to have Tony clipped. Livia w/ Junior and Janice w/ Richie ("you're the boss, it should be you"). How did she think Richie was going to make that happen? Just ask Tony to step down? Richie did go to Junior for permission to take Tony out. If I HAD to pick, I'd say Rising Damp 666 by a c**t hair.
LIVIA.
Livia. It’s one thing to to become furious and angry at your sister. No one’s on your side when your mother makes your life a living hell. People say they are but not really.
David Chase says they auditioned over 100 actresses for Livia and almost gave up on the role. Nancy Marchand walked in and just became Livia.
Definitely Livia.
Livia by far. At least with Janice you knew how to deal with her. Livia was unpredictable
Janice tried to get better. Tony didn’t like it.
Janice was no different to Tony.
Until David chase confirms it I still believe Livia didn't manipulate Tony's hit. She was legit delusional the entire series. People only subscribe to her knowing because it's more interesting to the show
For me, that scene after Tony gets shot and Livia and Jun are watching it on the news basically confirms that Livia knew what she was doing, or at least was aware of the "repercussions".
"How could this have happened?"
"You realize what this means, Olivia?!"
"My son got shot...and he got away."
@@nrlsan36_34plus she told Artie about Tony burning down his restaurant, Artie was lucky that Tony considered him a friend and didn’t do anything to him since tony has killed over less than
Olivia was the worrrst bar none. At least Janice tried to contribute positively here and there.
Awesome video! I've come to appreciate both Livia and Janice much more as characters recently. I'll admit, I don't find it to be a bad thing that Janice clipped Richie lol. x) But as for who's worse, I'll give a particular argument for why it's Janice:
While it also makes her a "survivor" as Aida Turturro phrases it, Janice's integrity is nonexistent.
I'd rather know a constantly miserable person than someone who's always being fake to get something out of it.
but livia lived in an era with less women's rights/privileges; like tony said if she lived after the feminists' rise she would've been the real gangster so it's hard to outweight one over the other (without counting janice's bust)
@@cabezadepija7318 That's true! It took me a few watches to figure it out, but I absolutely love how Livia was pretty much the boss of Junior's crew in the first season.
@@dr3dg352 she was like a consigliere because she was so good at reading people and getting inside info
@@cabezadepija7318 yes!!! Think that's why I'm fascinated with that role lol. Wish we had seen more of Mikey as Junior's consigliere.
@@dr3dg352 nice guy but he's like the grim reaper sometimes
Janice, she knew what life was like with her mom and chose to be this way
Janice is by far the most despicable human
At least Livia did love tony and everyone else in her own weird way
But Janice?😂
We see how growing up in that house has affected tony and Janice and all the problems they have because of their parents and the way they were brought up but they never really showed their younger sister Barbara.
Yeah... and she became a woke liberal. I'll take Janice over that.
Without watching I’ll say Tony’s mum, she ordered a hit on him and was basically horrible to Tony blaming him for her failings and his fathers death
Livia and Janice were the real OG’s. Livia had years and experience on her side, but Janice was even more cunning, so, in time, Janice would have been worse, but for the confines of the series, Livia was worse.
Livia kept to herself. Janice was a loose cannon.
Now that's a tough one only thing I can say is like mother like daughter and there you have it 😂😂😂 best TV series of all time
It was hard watching Janice gradually fall apart.
I love how Uncle Junior always saw right through Janice. He knew that she was the one poisoning Richie's mind and that she used Carmela's lasagna n pretended it was hers to try n get close to Bobby.
Sadly Nancy Marchand passed away but had she not we would have seen her character Livia actually testify against Tony in those stolen airline tickets. In my opinion Livia was much worse. Although Janice was a pain in the ass Livia actually tried to have Tony killed and testified against Tony. What worse could someone do?
It’s obvious that it’s Livia. Without Livia, there wouldn’t be a Janice.
7:10 did you say Sopranoses?
Thanks videos please do more. I never knew why the fans hated Janice? I watch the series off and on. I thinking that if Tony S could have left at 18 years nothing was stopping him. Go College and move out not sure when the father died. Now you explain Janice behavior ok now I see it. I thinking that third child Barbara left Tony could left too.
Can someone remind me why everyone put their mothers into Green Grove?
To have meetings as Tony didn’t think the fbi would bug it.
Hold it. Janice was actively egging on Richie to take control and murder her brother. She didn't actually say "kill him" (as no one in the mob does), but she makes it clear what she wanted Richie to do. That's why Richie went to junior about getting Tony killed: Janice was Iago getting in Richie's ear.
I feel like Janice and Livia are both equally evil, they have different ways being evil
For the record Janice killed Ritchie because he punched her in the face. Otherwise she was quite pleasant! 😂
