Nils Bryant - My pleasure, man! Emma is a real hidden gem. Their gear is just excellent and truly deserves more recognition. Happy you liked the demo :)
Two things: holy shit before I realized that was a Mastodon picture in your backdrop, I had the thought "huh, I didn't know Robert Plant played guitar..." haha! Secondly, the faceless but not bassless bassist :)
Not really my thing, generally not a fan of octave fuzz (I know, what wrong with me? It's fuzz!), but as always great playing and showing off some cool tones from the pedal.
It's a crazy creature for sure, so I understand that it's not everybody's cup of tea. I love it though. Great for making super intense synth textures and explosive riffs. Thank you for the kindness about the playing and demo in general
Great review! I bought the pedal straight away for my bass! However, mine doesn't track well at all... I guess it's defective. Have you noticed specific problems about tracking?
Happy you liked the demo. Means a lot to me :) Where are you experiencing tracking issues? Remember that the pedal is monophonic. It won't handle chords well. So stick to single note lines and riffs.
Yes, I listened to your advice :) But even when sticking to single notes, it doesn't track for more than a second in the mid range, and I often only get the sound of my bass with the octave (even in the high range). I must try it on a bigger amp to make sure it's really the pedal, though.
Arnaud Demaegd well it may also be a signal chain issue, its still an octave pedal and octaves tend to work better with the most direct sound from the bass so you have to place very early in the chain I would say to place it right after your tuner and then your compressor. I was having tracking issues with my octave until I did that. Hope that fixes the problem.
I have a Bit Commander and playing it involves some fighting with my bass. I wonder how this one compares. Does it bite back too much (out of control noises, cuts, stuff like that)?
Amazing
Great stuff Stefan, have to admit I wasn't all that familiar with Emma Electronics, thanks for introducing me!

If you enjoy high gain distortion, I recommend the Pisdiyauwot.
8 bit sounds, love it! \o/
Thank you! It's a beast 😊
that thing is sick !!!! Love it.

Burgs sent me here👍
Well alright! Brett is a sweetheart :)

Very good point, Kenneth! The Okto-Nøjs should definitely go as early as possible in the chain :)
Thanks Kenneth, I'll try that, it sounds logical!

rahzark this ones tracking is much better. Probably the best in class
4:20 is there a delay or reverb..? I hear more than one layer of guitar. I guess the pedal must be ...1000 us dollars .
I'm using a looper to create the layered composition. The Okto-Nojs is actually very affordable 👍
sound withot JavaScript:))
Can you only get splaty fuzz tones out of tis?
Clay Heinzerling - Yes. You're not gonna get smooth Big Muff or Fuzz Face tones here. This one is all about stinging, screaming synth tones :)
ThePedalZone drats. I really liked the idea of independent fuzz and octave circuits but I'm not a fan of the splatty fuzz. great demo though!
Clay Heinzerling - Thank you :)
