These videos always remind me that I still have some humanity. They break my heart and leave me choked up, but not with the heartbreak these families suffer. Four of my sons served our country, three of whom went off to war. I was lucky that I didn't need to face this tragedy. This type of thing always weighed on my heart for the better part of seventeen years as our endless wars went on. It is a beautiful thing to see when so many others salute this Marine. I am afraid that many have forgotten the sacrifices the best our country has to offer have made.
As an Army brat and a very proud American, these never fail to break my heart. To his family, may God bless and comfort you in the days and years ahead.
Great to see total respect shown. I'm from England. Remember me and dad fishing a funeral drove past dad dipped his head in respect. Because I was young didn't know what it meant because dad didn't know who was in the coffin. But he said it's saying farewell to an old soldier. If he wore a cap he'd take it off. I still bow my head at any funeral passsing

I love the fact that while they only needed the one lane closed, those truckers decided no way....we are shutting this whole fucker down! And God Bless that man at 4:45 who took off his ball cap and held it over his heart. I also want to give a big shout out to the members of the Patriot Guard. Those are where all those bikers came from. When asked to, they will ride in the funeral procession and create a barricade to prevent the Westboro protests if present at any funeral.
Westboro is a psyop. The whole "church" are all related, and they do not serve any God that we know. There is a new 8th circle of hell being constructed for those folks.
America is so proud on their servants. Emotional tear drawing. Love this form of extra attention, the last honor. Paying respect for the servants who would die for our survival, so the common folk don't have to. Don't understand the 1.2K thumbs down. I guess they don't have respect for anything, like if they didn't care, they would not even like or dislike. You get my LIKE, you get my RESPECT!
Im born and raised in south africa but i have such a strong love for America so much so to the point that i want to immigrate to America and serve in the USMC and after that become a cop its crazy to think that i love another country more than my own
I served, and this video made me think of all who served before me, and with me, and who will ever serve. I enlisted in the Navy, during Vietnam, to beat the draft. My first orders were to a Destroyer off shore Vietnam. Those orders were changed when my ship was hit by a missile , off the coast of Vietnam. I ended up serving in the Mediterranean off the coast of the Middle East, in the Black September operations. Thank You Veterans, for serving. God Bless you all.... "Old Navy 1969 to 73".

I regret things are like that in Germany for all of you who have served your country with honor. You deserve the respect of your fellow countrymen. I can't do anything about that, but I can say this: Thank you Dirk for your service. Semper Fi.
WOW! Unbelievable!!! My hat is off to My American Brothers. I too served my Country the late 60's to 70's I KNOW, of the pain you felt. Even though I never experienced how it really was. Know I stand behind every mothers son who has served their Country. A Proud Canadian Vet.

Thank you all men and women that have served in the arm forces, god bless you all
thanks to his family allowing us to have him for a time
Rest In Peace Brother, This was an awesome example of professionalism, dedication & honour..Thank you all who made Skip's funeral a great celebration! God Bless You All..
Here in the UK we stand strong with all of our US brothers and sisters. RIP Sir, we thank you for your brave and dedicated service.
How appropriate that I am sitting here on Veterans Day watching this tribute to this brave soul so I can feel safe in the United States of America. God bless us all, especially the Veterans.
i cant express my sorrow and condolence for this fine young marine and his family to keep me and my children safe and to give his life for his team mates his family his country and me and my own you are now a guard at heavens gate you amazing warrior
May he rest in peace...true american hero....thank you for your service...fly high with the angels
Seriously this moved me beyond words. I'm tearing up even now as I type. Thank you for sharing this.
I am afraid that many have forgotten the sacrifices the best our country has to offer have made.
thank u for your service , may god hold u in they palm of his hand
Thank you for your service, it is much appreciated by all Americans
Brought tears to my eyes , God bless you Lance Corporal Wells and thank you for your service to our nation (RIP)
Our Flag doesn't fly on the Wind it flies on the last Breath of every HERO that has died DEFENDING this GREAT Nation Rest Easy Sir 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
As an Army brat and a very proud American, these never fail to break my heart. To
his family, may God bless and comfort you in the days and years ahead.
There is one thing that gets to me everytime and it’s seeing everyone come together for a fallen hero💙
The ones who really care. I do not want to be "together" with people of this current age.
@@keithsy75 yeah, you're generation spit on returning Vietnam Veterans
Just watched this for the first time. All our hero's deserve the respect of our hearts. For they keep us safe and they never complain. Semper Fi brother
THANK YOU -for the documentation
As a British Veteran it's Heart-breaking to see but a fitting tribute to one of your National Heroes.
May God Bless them All...
Stand Easy Soldier, You've done your duty..
Rest In Peace
We will Remember You and All your Fallen Brothers and Sisters..
Lance CPL Squire "Skip" Wells, Thanks for your service and may you rest in peace.
My father spent 30 years in the military serving this country. He sacrificed a lot to serve. To all the members of all the branches of the armed forces a heart felt thank you for your service so we can live in peace and safety in this great country. To Lance Cpl. Wells thank you and may God bless you Marine.
Thats it why I love Merica. Much Respect! Greets from Germany
RIP Lance Cpl Skip Wells thank you for the sacrifice you've given us, please look after my son Wesley he is with you now.
The Patriot Guard Riders! ❤️
It’s really touching how the drivers going south also pulled over to show their respect.
This was awesome!!! Well deserved procession. Thank you for keeping my family safe and my unending thank you for your sacrifice.
There is a new 8th circle of hell being constructed for those folks.
people from other lane stop and pay respects. One of reasons America is great.
My Condolences for the family that lost a loved one
Im born and raised in south africa but i have such a strong love for America so much so to the point that i want to immigrate to America and serve in the USMC and after that become a cop its crazy to think that i love another country more than my own
I absolutely love being part of the Patriot Guard. Giving these men and women that served our country the respect they deserve.
"Old Navy 1969 to 73".
puts everything in perspective.... there are so many people finer than I will ever be I am in awe of someone everyday
And no one complained about the traffic jam.... Respect!
Wow USA, YOU ARE truly patriots and amazing 🥲 people. My years in the Angola 🇦🇴 war, never experienced this.
One of the enduring aspects of those who serve and die in the service of the military. Is the fact of our love and respect who willingly serve this great country of our. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Maranatha.
This gives me chills Thank you for you’re service
I thank God for the men and women who bravely risk their lives to protect us and others whether they are military or police. You are to be honored!
Absolutely incredible. Deserves nothing less. R.I.P.
That was amazing to watch and brought tears to my eyes. RIP and thank you for your service!
Gone but never forgotten. Thank you all for your service. Rest in peace
God bless from a Canadian. Thank you for your service. 🇺🇲 🇨🇦
Thank You so much for your service to our country! God Bless!!!
RIP. Lance Corporal Squire "Skip" Wells. My brother was in the Marines as well (Granada and Desert Storm). Semper Fi! IT IS ONE OF THE TOUGHEST JOBS!!!
Quite different than the show at the Grammy or Emmy awards!!! ..and we still have to question which people truly love this country?
Thank you for filming that!....from a Marine Vet and Retired Navy!
This is absolutely incredible. Beautiful and so very sad. God bless you Skip. God bless each and every man or woman in uniform. Thank you to you all. True heroes.
It makes me proud to know that Americans respect their service men and women in this way In Japan it is a similar affair and I remember my father's funeral clearly I was still in hospital fighting Covid-19 when he died in March Thank god the nurses here in America were able to get a computer so I could watch his funeral he died of 9/11 related cancer but I remember my mother telling me that he saved so many lives in NYC that day he was severely injured that day yet as he was taken to a hospital in staten island because they couldn't get him to a hospital in New York he still made sure others were okay I am proud to be his daughter
This video is so impressive, in Germany something like that would be impossible.
R.I.P Lance Cpl. Squire "Skip" Wells, comes from an Afghanistan Veteran from Germany.
We stand side by side!
All those people on the overpass, awesome. They weren't just people stopped for traffic, just showing respect
Wish there were more of those.
.
Roger Clemons Of course, did I imply othrwise?
As the hearse passed, the man on the left in the yellow polo shirt removed his hat and put it over his heart. What a touching gesture of respect! Obviously a vet.
I regret things are like that in Germany for all of you who have served your country with honor. You deserve the respect of your fellow countrymen. I can't do anything about that, but I can say this: Thank you Dirk for your service. Semper Fi.
I'm 66 and this made me cry
Thank you America for all you've done for us in the UK. Much love ❤
WOW! Unbelievable!!! My hat is off to My American Brothers. I too served my Country the late 60's to 70's I KNOW, of the pain you felt. Even though I never experienced how it really was. Know I stand behind every mothers son who has served their Country. A Proud Canadian Vet.
