'TE DEUM' on large American Cathedral organ!

- Some months ago I've had the opportunity to play the amazing pipe organ at Buffalo Cathedral. It is a Hook & Hastings organ and has these wonderful colored pipes which we usually know from English instruments. The acoustics of the Cathedral are fantastic and the Tuba is A LOT of fun to use.
I hope you'll enjoy this recording of the famous 'Te Deum' Prelude by Charpentier played on the large cathedral organ at Buffalo Cathedral. You'll hear the high pressure tuba which is absolutely amazing and so much fun to play! Played by Paul Fey organist.

I prefer Bruckner's one but with soli, choir, orchestra, and organ.
The instrumental introduction to one of Marc-Antoine Charpentier's Te Deums is very popular, but the rest is not so much. I also know the rest.
But anyhow, the organ performance is magnificent!

This Charpentier piece is a real show stopper - I am glad you had the opportinity to play this on this instrument - it needs lotsof volume - wonderful Paul.

I degree with this comment the Biggest church pipe organ is in the Cathedral of St John's Baptist it have over eight pipes told them five years after the fire to repaired it the first concert was held last month for time to hear it being played
