Anyone that's so mad about fan noise that they want a unit that actually throttles due to "quiet noise" should just not get a mini PC lol. I don't understand why a fan going is such a complaint in a little machine that NEEDS to be cooled. Then you get crap like this that can't fully perform. I gotta say, I've never had my Beelink throttle and I plan on getting an upgraded Beelink, maybe the new SER8 :) SER5 MAX currently.
This is basically a Beelink. I was able to convince my Minisforum 690s to run its memory at 5200mt but Kingston Fury or Ripjaw memory was needed to get this. The stock Corsair variable 5600mt would not run any faster than 4800.
My computer knowledge is a couple decades out of date. I don't know much about computers these days, but I would ask about cpu temperatures. Even if a stupid question at this point. 88c or thereabout seems very high. Buying myself a decent mini pc like this one for the first time instead of the basic internet appliances I have been using in recent years.
I like the 6900hx for its efficiency and all. I've got an um690s from minisforum with it and it does great, even at a 15w tdp down. Sadly It bothers me that in the low numbers around 15, the power draw efficiency is still make it draw 30watts from the wall. But maybe bosgame has a better charger. It's certainly much longer, possibly larger.
I'm confused. Can you, or can you not adjust the wattage? I would like it to run at 35 watts or lower all the time. Is that possible? What is the wattage at idle?
Most mini pcs can set a tdp limit in BIOS if you want it to use less power and run quieter. The older the gen the less power efficient when it comes to Ryzen.
I have a Bosgame H66 with Ryzen 6600h and I can confirm the fan noise is almost inaudible. Bought a GmkTec K1 and inmediately notice the excessive fan noise even doing just web browsing and returned it back to amazon. Bought a Beelink ser5 with ryzen 5560u because of the inaudible fan noise and it was amazing as well but it lacks some performance for me. Finally gave a chance to Bosgame and bought it and it has been amazing, my new favorite mini pc brand for sure. Essentially is a company under AZW group (same as Beelink and Trigkey) but apparently they tune the CPU to be extremely quiet and after watched this review plus my own experience they do tune the fan to be quiet. Basically my new favorite mini pc brand.
Is the P3 worth the extra $150 over the P1? I was thinking about ordering the BOSGame P1 until I seen this review for the P3 but I might go with the P1 still if theres not really all that much noticable difference between the 2 models.
Three possibilities: 1. Use as a firewall device - one port for connection to your incoming Internet feed, other for the protected lan 2. Use as a virtualization platform - run proxmox on it, assign one port to the hypervisor, and the other to the VMs to keep them separate and allow for vlans if desired 3. Use for link aggregation where you connect both lanes at same time for more throughput

Not going to open it?

Did you post a teardown of this? Need to know internal component brands and upgradability (extra M.2 slot or 2.5" SATA). 😅
On Amazon it says there's an extra slot but it doesn't specify m2 or sata
i thought you said you would open it up...?
maybe i misunderstood.

does the P3 support 5600mhz ram..?

Hi there, just wondering can you emulate PS3 well on the H66 ? Thank you.
What’s up with mine then? I’m getting excessive fan noise literally just sitting in the desktop…
Looks like a cool mini PC would 64gigs of ram improve gameplay?
Are these realtek or intel nics?
I noticed in the review that most games Failed to maintain 60fps. So could you tell me is 40 fps in 120 hz monitor a good alternative ?
if the monitor has amd freesync it will lowe the HZ to match the FPS and that is really good.
I’m new to all this pc gaming gig. Will this be a good choice for online racing? Like Formula One? Thanks.

Can this play Diablo 4?
Can this run ea fc smooth?
You must’ve gotten a superior version than me lol. This thing is far from quiet. Fans ramp up just sitting in the desktop.
Why do you need 2 LAN connections?
😂😂😂
