I have met George Shirley what a nice guy good friend of my father-in-law. They were both in the Army Chorus.
Paul Lane My mother got to meet George Shirley and got a CD autographed for me!!! He lectured at a conference her sorority put on a couple of years ago or so.
No one was better, what a voice.
Too bad this entire 1968 performance is not yet on You Tube, or is it?
