I just picked up a 2012 with the Premium package. Stepped into this from a '06 Charger R/T. A significant difference! MPG is almost doubled. Nicer interior, especially with the Navi. My absolute favorite feature (besides the MPG) is the Mouse. As a Techie, this was a game changer for me. Overall, I will be looking at more Lexus Hybrids in the future. I'm a fan now!
Same! I just got a 2012 with the premium package as well, I really lucked up on it because it was apart of a business fleet so the car was in immaculate condition with only 40k miles, black exterior and caramel interior. Looks brand new the way it was kept, I love this little car😂
I bought f sport 2015 plate had it 8 years now. Great car reliable and nothing wrong so far. The cvt is really smooth and hybrid battery health so far lost one bar. Great when tryjng to drive on battery as far as you can before the engine kicks in. Great on fuel around town and not as good on motorway driving. Very planted on the road on motorway driving. To keep the engine going strong i use premium fuel shell v power all times and has kept the engine very smooth

That’s really up to you personally but the car has been around long enough and has the same powertrain as a Prius C so I would recommend that at minimum you take it to a shop that can work on Toyotas and you should be good
For a 1st car, this thing will spoil you on MPG savings! You're going to save SO MUCH 💰 on ⛽️ zionz! I just drove a 2022 Prius for the last 3 months & I was getting 50MPG & sometimes 60MPG 😮 Basically you could compare both cars nearly the same performance-wise. We also have a newer WRX. So going from about 40-50$ every couple days to like 27$ a week on gas (and that's driving about 430 miles). It's the perfect car to make money in for gig-work bc you save so much on miles.
Thanks for the video. It's a Lexus, so it's well built. The hybrid system is proven to be very reliable too. I'm thinking about getting something like this when my daughter turns 18 so that she can go to the local college that's only like 15 minutes away. How many miles did your sister's car have when she got it? I recently bought a 2015 Lexus GS 350 with 187k miles and it still drives like a new car. Lexus vehicles are very reliable. Even with high miles. Does your sister still have this car? Subscribed
@@jakeandcameron7022 indeed it does. It drives well, has nice darker yellow paint and aftermarket wheels. Interior is super clean, no scratches or tears and it smells amazing
@@jakeandcameron7022 It’s a higher mileage but everything like the battery and the brake booster just got replaced like less than five years ago and the people just need money for a down payment on a house like by The Weeknd☺️ I gotta get it checked out though
Unfortunately this car is full of rattles. Maybe I’m a perfectionist but every week almost I found another rattle. Owned it for 10 years and after the 5th year it really started to get on my nerves. Upgraded to the 2023 UX250h and it made a world of difference. Don’t suffer, just get the UX. This car is ancient and overly rough over even mildly poor pavement.

Awesome, I’m sure you’ll love it my sister has really enjoyed owning hers
Thank you for the video, looking at one to buy for my daughter’s first car.
I’m sure she’ll love it, it’s a pretty sweet little ride
You guys ROCK!!! Your humbleness is seriously sick!! Keep it up!!!

Just got a 2015 sport and I’m loving it!
What’s the maintenance like? Can you take it to any shop or do you need to go to certified Lexus mechanics?

Bout to get this as my first car pretty excited to drive it!
Wow that’s awesome, Hope you enjoy it 😁

Looking to buy one 2012 120 k on it just concerned about battery life span and acceleration seems laggy whats your thoughts on it thanks
Acceleration is pretty laggy on all Toyota and Lexus hybrid cars but at 120k the battery should have quite a bit of life left
It's gutless, but the savings on gas will be crazy in the long run.
I bought mine 125km for 15k is that a great price for it and do you think it will still last a long time ?
Yeah that’s a very good price and yea it should last you a long time with Toyota/Lexus reputable build quality and reliability
I’ve seen 320,000 Miles examples. Plus in the UK the battery is warrantied for 15 years
yes, perfect daily driver. great overview video y'all!

Yes my sister still has the car and loves it, has been a great daily driver for her.
Good car and great explaining on video. Thank you
is it really MPG in the city if you aren't using the gas engine?
How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking? I'm looking at one with 99k miles for 16k 🤔
Yeah that’s actually exactly what my sister paid
@@jakeandcameron7022 Okay thanks
Is it dollars or pounds?
Would you recommend one that goes for 10500€, has 120k km on it? It seems too good to be true
I mean as long as the car has clean paperwork and looks to be in good mechanical order that sounds like a great deal

Ma boy be mobbin' around Battle Ground.
Got a 07 Prius want to get one of these but for almost the same price I can get a 2020 Prius
Looking at one of these for 6500 I think I might have the deal of the century if it’s decent
Wow yeah if it runs and drives that would be one hell of a deal.

Im deciding between this car and a Prius
This is better than any Prius
@jakeandcameron7022 nice, what do you like best from the lexus compared to the Prius?
Interior is way better, also just way better looking but that’s just personal preference
@jakeandcameron7022 I know, I need a car with better personality that saves me in gas at the same time
Good video
Thanks 😊
Range in ev mode is something like 1 mile 😂
Yeah I kinda learned that after driving a bit, pretty pitiful 😂
It's something you turn on if you're in the parking lot or if you're in slow stop & go traffic.
fancy prius. very sexy
Yeah basically lol

Yeah not everyone can afford them
fly high buddy :(
missed couple things
Easily 46 mpg
Moving the seat back that far is a very unfair and not realistic
Slow this video down to 0.25x lmao
"Sir, have you had anything to drink this afternoon?" 😂 & on 2x it sounds like meth 😅
