I really hope he gets to feeling better soon. I hate that happened the first night on vacation. Getting back into the swing of things is hard. Love watching you guys. Thank you so much for sharing a snippet of your lives with us.
Hope the girls were able to bring their shells home. I had a nice collection from Marco Island that I brought back to IL after our trip, but, unfortunately I couldn’t bring them to Canada when I moved here😣 Hoping Austin’s leg heals soon. Glad you made it home safely. Enjoyed all of your vacation vlogs. I want to see Owen's program when he gets Clay going on it. I think that is good a little father/son time and Owen helping him. I really like that! The brace Austin has is nice and comfortable. I have the same one. That ice pack for his knee is nice. I am glad to see they have upgraded lol...25+ years ago they had only this thing that looked like a thermos and you filled it up with ice and water. It had the hose lime that one and you wrapped it around your knee. Every so often you would have to have help filling it up but is felt so good. But it was the best one. I got it after my surgery from my orthopedic surgeon. But it was worth it. It kept the ice in also. Hope you are able to get him that pass for his classes. Have great day! 🥰

I meant to tell you that the first shell that Claire found with the two halves is a Sunray Venus! Pretty unusual to find one undamaged with both halves. It is a prized shell and a good find! And also the shell that Carmen found after that... that she hoped would have a pearl... That is a scallop shell. Pretty unusual to find one whole like that! Scallop shells are one of my favorite shells to find! but sadly you won't find a pearl inside of those! Only oysters have pearls. Just thought the girls might enjoy a little info on what they found!❤️❤️

I can relate to Austin as far as the knee injury goes. I was away at school and last year in March I was walking out of my apartment bathroom and the floor was wet and I ended up hyperextending and dislocating my knee. We were afraid that I had torn my ACL but surprisingly I didn't but I did end up having to do Physical Therapy for 6 months possibly more if it still bothers me in a few weeks. But now I am dealing with a wrist/thumb injury that I have to see an Orthopedic Surgeon for. I think I also injured my wrist and thumb at the sametime as my knee last March because I fell on an outstretched hand or as my Physical Therapist would call it a (Foosh) injury.
Hi...I am new to your channel and I sure have enjoyed watching your videos and family activities. I have only seen about 6 videos so far but I look forward to eventually catching up but please excuse me if I don't comment on any of your older vlogs around your injuries as I feel sure they are all healed by now and everyone is in fine working order. I am not sure how you date your vlogs as the last ones shown are a year ago unless of course, you really haven't made any new ones since, but I am enjoying the ones who have. For ice machine the best thing to not have to change ice constantly is to freeze half full water bottles and just keep rotating bottles

You should get him a compression brace as that one might not do much but keep his knee in place though with a compression one from Walmart or target it can help him with pain like the term RICE: Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevate.

Im sorry that it happened to Austin. Ive had the same problem for 5 years where my knee often popped out so I know how it feels. Im not a professional or anything just speaking from my own experience. My knee has properly popped out about 25-30 times and im not exaggerating. It turns out that it was something I was born with ( don't know the exact medical term for it). My doctor said that I could have lived my whole life without it being a problem but ones it happened it would stop so I had to be careful. What I want to say is that I just recently torn my ligaments in my knee and that's five years later so I wouldn't be surprised if if nothing has been torn in the knee and that's only because im speaking from own experience but its diffrent to everyone. Im having surgery on my knee in February so it hopefully will get better.I will say that I had the same brace for my knee but I wouldn't recommend it beacouse my knee stil managed to pop out while I was wearing it and that's because you are supposed to take the gel pad off when you wash the brace but that means that It won't be as fitted around the knee I would recommend a knee brace where the gel pad is built in to the brace because that way it will support the knee better so it wouldn't pop out ( I know that that's the knee brace that they recommended but I have seen 3 surgeons where only one recommended it and the 2 others recommended a diffrent type that have the same function). I hope its nothing to serious and that he will recover well im sorry if my gramma isn't the best. English isn't my first language.

Pleaseee tell him to use the crutches, I dislocated my knee ONCE, and was supposed to use crutches for up to 3 weeks, but as long as I had no pain I could come off them. However, 2 days later I went back to work and seriously messed it up. My kneecap can be dislocated up to 3/4 times a DAY(normally once maybe twice) It doesn’t hurt so much anymore and goes back in normally without any help. But it causes a lot of pain, and in my hip from there I’m walking weirdly on it to try stop it dislocating. If he needs these crutches, make him use them!!

The same thing happened to me while in P.E. I have to wear the brace for a few month. The thing that happened for me is the muscle holding my knee in place is slightly moved and I have a likely chance of it happening again. Hope Austin feels better!
A muscle doesn't hold the knee in place,it is tendons and ligaments lol ...

I had to get knee surgery to replace my ACL ligament and fix my torn meniscus. I have a cadaver in my knee that I got put in about 10 years ago and June of 2023 will mark 10 years
omg i have an appointment on the nineteenth too for my arm, i had to get surgery on it and now im in a cast!

Please get more advice and physio for austin i dislocated my knee for the 1st time 11 years ago and i didnt get any treatment now im waiting for reconstruction as its now dislocates daily make sure he wears a brace and gets the treatment needed as i was a young mum who didnt have the time but now im suffering

Wow, Austin is really muscular, I guess he works out quite a bit.
I was going to suggest a mri. My 80 lbs golden retriever dog ran into my leg and dislocated my knee once. MRI showed a partial tear of my acl.
Hope Austin's knee at worst only needs cleaning up. The cold utah weather might help with the swelling. Yeah get your dad into shape Owen.

Please follow the doctor’s orders best the best advice I can give you with having to dislocated knee’s
I pray you take him to the Dr. Nothing matters more than him getting help! Find a different Dr. your child is suffering!
He has an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon. Specialist are always hard to get into.
Hopefully he feels better pain is not fun does maybe I said maybe he can turn to Rhodeside and see
