  • The last step before I can begin building the firewood shack is to remove the large stumps that are situated where the shack will go. The chainsaw is my tool of choice for the stump removal. I'll work the stumps as low to the ground as I can then backfill over them with soil.
Next up, let the building begin!
Thanks to all who watch. God bless.

Your beaver looks lonely sitting there all by himself... he needs a companion.

Some of the stump wood could be regular fire wood. A bonus.

I enjoy watching these videos but had to skip past the stump cutting part 🙈. I've destroyed plenty of chains cutting close to the ground. Trees will pickup rocks as they grow so I never cut within a foot of the ground. I'd rather burn the stump out than risk hitting a stone. Keep up the good work.

Chainsaw champion, excellent work brother. Too bad about the metal in the tree, strangely odd given the location it seems. Yep, even here in the desert southwest the weather is cooling off some, a welcome reprieve from the 100+ temps. Thanks for the video, see you next time.

Even here in Tennessee the nights are getting cooler. It's almost here and I love it. 🍂

Great sawing. Shame about the metal. You weren’t hurt which is more important than any saw.
Be well, stay safe, and god bless.

I enjoy seeing how the old cabin site slowly becoming transformed. You are breathing new life into that place, and it will pay you back with peace, solitude, a warm fire, and good night's rest during trapping/hunting season!

Nice work getting them removed. I was thinking your wooden beaver might benefit from a coat of oil too. Enjoy the day👍👍

Hi, love your videos. I had the same problem and I bought the Bugeyes goggles, no more steaming up.

Why burn? Feed the forest. Make habitat.
