Really wanted to NOT experience my 2019 converted 170, 4x4 WITHOUT the RB shelf installed. That was not to be the case with COVID delays in the fall of 2020. For the last 10 months, I've enjoyed the extra headroom with the shelf collecting dust in the spare bedroom. That might just be code for procrastination though, and install fear - I am not a DIYer. But, I did pay for the shelf and more storage is never a bad thing so ....
Wathced this video last night and installed the raised version shelf today (July 16 '21), by myself. Yeah!! Took all of 30 minutes. Used the Bearfoot Theory tip too.
I found it helpful to loosen (not remove) the front screw of the visor grab handle. Doing so allowed me to pull the handle away from the wall easier in order to slide the front bracket between it and the headliner.
Haven't taken it out of the driveway yet so can't tell if I'm going to like the loss of headroom.

Way too expensive for what it is if that was around 100$ okay but 445$ insane!!

When you are in a roll over accident you won’t say your brain didn’t use that space when your roof caves in 6-12”
