This one is probably my all-time favorite Sleep Token song. The dark vibes and the breakdown just hit every time, never getting old. Not to mention the live performances of this song are perfection, crowd goes crazy right before the breakdown
I don't blame you at all for having this at number 1! It is a great song and on my playlist now 🙂 I am saving live versions until I am done with the main journey 🤘
You wanna know why people gravitate toward your reactions? It's because many of us are hungry to see someone experiencing the same strong emotions because of music. It's one thing to be able to recognize the complexity and technical aspects of a song. But it's another thing to see someone feel it. Truly feel it. We're not that many in this world, the people who can disappear in a song. And we love seeing someone else embrace the same emotions. I've always felt like there aren't many people who are able to feel that way and always have looked for others who do. Hence, your success and quick growth. I CAN'T wait to see your further Sleep Token journey.
In my opinion, Two was the whetstone that Sleep Token started shaping the space that allowed Vessel to be completely raw with incredibly lyrical emotions. Layers. So many layers.
I agree, they pulled me into a new music search now. Also,I didn't realize how much I really do miss playing, that girls not dead, so I have goals to get new instruments and a shed to use as a music room.
You can really hear Vessel's Bristol influence in the 2 EP. Very Massive Attack sounding intro. One of my favourites. Don't care for Jericho so much, but I'm also so enjoying their overall catalogue. Talented dude. So many creative influences go into his songwriting, and deserves all of the positive attention it's getting rn. Edit: Can also hear some post punk new romantic like The Cure, esp with the pinky plunks.
Appreciate your thoughts about proto-sleep token, then finding their sound, and honing their craft. Also the Monty Python comparison is almost silly but very apt, made me laugh but then think wait... you're right 😁
Yes, they are better than the first EP. Nazareth caught me by surprise when I first heard it. Really cool...but the roach skeeves me out, so I usually do the lyric video. Lol 😅 Glad you're liking it so far... happy listening ☺️ ❤ Worship ❤
Wow, you're spoiling us with two in one day! About the only criticism I'd accept from anyone about them is that their songwriting can be a bit formulaic. To both you and I, that's not a bad thing at all, but I can see how some people might find it monotonous. Thing is, it works and their style has such a wide range that every song is still unique. Not an easy thing to do. To me, it makes the songs that veer from the formula hit that much harder. And hey, if you hear a song you dislike along the way, it's more than OK. If someone doesn't understand that we all have different tastes, they're not worth listening to anyway.
Formulaic, yes. Boring, no. I think a lot of people generally considering the two very close. I think they prove that you can still throw surprises within a proven formula 🙂 but like you say, the outliers hit harder!

The piano in this song is magnificent ❤ Along with the dark vibe, lyrics and groove of this song, it is in my top 3 for sure
Wow a second reaction! It does indeed progress in quality from now onwards! Stay safe 🤘 ✌️
I thought I would kick off "Two" with a bang 😂 you too 🤘

I would agree, it felt like I was hearing them evolve as I listened to it 🙂

YES! That is amazing! Always great to hear people coming back to playing 😊
It indeed is a journey and I'm loving it so far, keep it up and take care!
Love your reactions . Hope you're enjoying your Journey.
So far, I am enjoying it very much! Thank you 😊

I can completely understand why they are getting the following! It is a very hard band to explain but worth the journey!
Ahhh one of my favourites 😊 really enjoying your reactions. Off to binge the rest. Looking forward to Sundowning 😁
I hope you enjoy them all! Thank you very much 🙂 there is a playlist if that makes it any easier? Sundowning is coming very soon 🤘
One of my favorite tracks of theirs. Hypnotherapy
There have been a couple that feel like that for me so far!
I love how ironically yousde a Monty Python reference on this song, named after the birth place of Brian in Life of Brian. Lol
How did I miss that?? 😂 Thank you!
I concur. Two is very much my walkin around music
There are a lot of ST in my walkin' around playlist! 😂
This one was my first in back in 2018. Still their best song imo, The offering chasing it very close and Euclid.
I’ve always had a weak spot for warm slightly overdriven electric piano. How it’s used here absolutely neutralizes me.
100% agree! There is a future ST song that uses Piano/Organ really well I think too, but saying any more may spoil the video 😂

I am glad you liked the Python reference 😂
Two in one day!! Love it!
In honour of starting "Two" 😂

Thank you for watching as always! 🙂 I can understand why you would go with the lyric video 😂
This my favorite from the EPs very dark and deep song
