Facts on N/A coyote trucks! That’s why I stayed N/A and at 99K miles and been to 6 different states with it and races TF out of my Crew Cab throughout the miles and it’s reliable still (knock on wood) at 80K miles almost got a whipple but reliability was a factor. Still beats 70% of things on the road and being a crew cab it surprises people

Sergio's the man! He's got my tune/E85 only 18 XLT 302A, crewcab, FX4, 3.73 truck running as strong as any LS1 Fbody I've ever had when it was stock. I've been dailying on his tune for almost 2.5 years. For Chevy to compete they would need to offer a RCSB with a 6.2L, and offer the 6.2L in the lower trims, without a big markup. 6.2L trucks are somewhat rare, and no one wants to buy a new Denali or $70K+ truck to have to tear the heads off the engine, get them ported, get a good cam for it, delete the DFM, and spend for expensive DI components. I try telling people that this isn't 1997 anymore. Coyote is way easier and cheaper to mod than GEN5 SBC. GEN5 SBC can be straight up badass, but GM hampers them so much with AFM/DFM components, the DI fuel system instead of dual port, (other than LT5) and the OEM rotating assembly is lacking compared to a Coyotes, and a common 5.3L's 3.78" bore is too small for a really potent N/A, 16V V8. You don't need to upgrade the OEM fuel system until about 700WHP in a 18+ F150 5L, the SD is the bomb unless you want to cam it, but you don't need to mod SD unlike MAF, and it's flex fuel from the factory. The new Coyotes are easy to get gains with, and modding them is very rewarding for the $ you invest in them.
Its actually crazy what these Ford f150s with a coyote motor are doing! Theyre badass, best looking & best running etc trucks right now.

More info on the 2011 5.0 f150, I ripped up a lot of trucks in that truck brand new chevys too. People don’t talk about that first gen coyote. Tuned it rips even against the new 10 speeds

I bought a 23 f-150 but I wasn’t a Chevy guy, I was/still am a hemi guy but the aftermarket support for gen 3 hemi is pricey compared to Chevy and Coyotes. With the money I make from racing with the 5.0 imma spend it on the hemi, but man these 5.0 are fucking amazing with just bolt ons. Out of the big 3 mopar is definitely falling behind, don’t know why they haven’t slapped the hellcat in a single cab yet

Nah, they can’t hold together and make power at the same time. Check out Cleetus’ channel where he built a 7.3 to the sky. It wasn’t overly impressive and it kept blowing head gaskets and what not. That car is now Coyote powered and is more reliable and now runs 6’s in the 1/4 mile!

Don't waste your time with a gen 1 coyote truck.. Not worth it.. Gen1 truck engines don't have mustang cams, they have low compression, weak rods, and they are heavy AF.. IE no aluminum body..

it'll run you about 6-7k for a gen 1 with the 6r80 but if you want a gen 3 with the 10r80 you're looking at around 10-12k

Most people are not modding the newer LT engines, they are much more expensive to modify! There is a big difference from a LS engine compared to a LT GM engine. I think most people are also uneducated when it comes to engines in general though...most people don't know the difference between ohv and ohc fr! Idiots be like put a LS with turbos on it and go fast with big power!🤔🤐😂That's not true ppl, on a pushrod LS you actually have to do lot's of work and spend lot's of time and money for big power! You would have to change the camshaft, get ported heads, bigger injectors with fuel system, better intake manifold, headers, better exhaust, cai, turbos and tune...then you might get 800whp! On a Coyote or Predator engine dohc, all you need is muffler delete, cai, fuel system with injectors, turbos and tune...you probably looking at 900whp! A lot less steps to make a dohc fast, because they breathe better and they love boost! The dohc Coyote and Predator engines will go down in the history books as best platform with legendary status...remember that fellas!
My wrecked 16 5.0 gt was $12k to have whippled & tune made 730whp . 2le ss 1le, ported heads cam, intake, springs tune.. $9,500 608whp..

Stock heads because you got 2 cams in each one. 4 cams of course there’re gonna work good, you have 4 different cams taking in a lot less load with less moving parts. You can’t compare a single cam pushrod engine to a dohc. Chevy just recently got into the dohc motor with the new c8 corvette and that stock is outperforming any ford motor ever built all motor stock from factory

Where to start. So first things first. As far as coyote being superior to LT. Thats is completely false. The platforms are very close in performance. N/A the LT edges out the coyote. The coyote does better boosted.(Im talking about the coyote in the mustang and the LT camaro/corvette). Now as far as trucks. Let's be honest performance is the last thing on the mind of ford and chevy. They are for work! If chevy really gave a crap. They would drop a 6.2 10 speed in a single cab (btw they never made one) . and it would be like the 454ss from the 90's all over again. or like the late 2000's when ford needed superchargers to beat the LS. Not to mention the LT6 just set a new benchmark for v8's. 650hp no power adders. Listen if your trashing chevy for not being fast...your delusional and unrealistic. Corvette is dame near a hyper car you think they couldn't make a truck fast 🥴🥴
