Had the same issue, I had to use the metal key which was a huge pain to open, taped up the pump as you did and now I can get in the trunk with a push of the button! Thanks for the video it was a blessing that helped me tremendously!!! And nice w220 btw she’s looking icy!
Get a small channel lock or clamp to compress it completely. Then 5 min Epoxy it around it. Allow to dry for 24 hrs. Electrical tape will get hot in the summer and you will drive your Air compressor harder because it will leak... and then you will have a 1200$ compressor to replace... Best of luck.

My question is what did you have to do to change the rims from factory rims? Did u have to get conversion adapters?
No sir, just make sure when you call your rim dealer they know the car you have.
how and where did you get the ipad set up that goes in the dash? I have been looking but no luck.
I made it myself. Attached Bluetooth through equalizer ,, to connect to iPad. I ran all speakers to a amp and bypass all the Mercedes wiring.
I don’t have the car no more. Sold it.
