Personally I’m not a moon-clip guy, I prefer the HKS speedloaders. That being said the gun looks awesome, love the 7-shot capacity and fiber optic front sight! I would of added the Hogue grip too, definitely more .357 friendly. I carry my 3inch 686 Plus appendix, this style works best for me. Great video and review of this beautiful beast...
Moon clip tip of the day. Use Hornady Critical defense for your loads. They have high quality cases for snug clip fit and because of the cone shaped bullet they index into the cylinder holes super fast.
Good coverage of carry options. Get you the G96 bluing marker and make that blemish from your drill Chuck disappear in seconds. It’ll actually reblue that tiny spot without any prep or difficulties. I use it on my blued models that get nicked on occasion. Click my name and it’ll take you to my video displaying it in action. Well worth 8 bucks.
How is the bluing? And what is the double action trigger pull weight. I want to get this gun but i want to see it in person. I'm hoping the bluing is like my 586-8 and 29-10 classic but it doesn't look like it is from this video. Does anyone know how the bluing is and trigger pull weight
I like the holster. I do not believe the 19 would work well with it. It would fit but would be loose do to the difference in cylinder and frame size. Unfortunately I don’t have a k frame on hand to confirm.
I always carry with the moon clip in the gun and reload with a speed loader. Using the moon clip insures all the empty cases

I would love to carry my 686 plus 2.5 inch IWB but I cannot, for the life of me, find a IWB holster. What kind/where did you get your holster?
What hoster do you use to carry an appendix style?
@@robertrenstrom4668 it’s a cheap soft leather appendix holster off Amazon. Fits K/L frame guns.

I agree. Wish they were easier to find.
@@beardedgunguy7251 Especially 38 special and 357. I buy them whenever I see them on the shelf. Well worth the price if your a moonclipper.

Beautiful revolver! 🇺🇸👍👍
This 586 - L comp. Is the Larger frame 7 shot version of the 19 -k frame 6 shot carry comp . Much better for 357
Nice set up. I agree about the front sight. Great gun.
Thank for the video. I did cringe when you pulled the trigger with your hand in front of the barrel
I don't care how empty a gun is. That is never a good idea.
Nice one that maybe recommended to footmen of the cops..❤
Awesome video, man.
I was between the 2020 python, or this smith. Think this is a better carry revolver
Nice job ! 💥
good review - some miss fire issues
That looks a lot like a throw your ammo on the ground contrsption.
Can you tell me which front sight that is?
Price$?
Hey, have you noticed any accuracy issues when NOT using moonclips? Thanks?

How’s the recoil?
Very manageable.
The S7W 586 L-Comp or the 19 Carry Comp? Why? Thanks!
That's what I would like to know!
The L Comp seems like the clear choice with an extra round, but I don't know if that justifies an extra $300.
Hey boss how do you like the ANR holster? By any chance do you know if the the model 19 carry comp (smaller version) would fit that holster?

Does that kydex holster made the hell out of your finish?
Want to sell those black wood grips?
Possibly
Is that a Dawson front sight?
Hi Viz
Does it work without moonclips reliable?
Very reliable, have not had a single issue.
Cool concept for the reload but you are going to fumble that shit into the dirt on a real life reload
