A quick look at Hogue grips for the Ruger LCR. Included are the stock Tamer grips, Bantam Boot Tamer grips, extended Tamer grips, and G10 grips.
Helpful. Thanks.
I have the 686plus talo edition 3in two years old 👍🏿sweet 🎯👍🏿
Самая лучьшая его рукоятка-это вообще без рукоятки😂... как на старом добром смите 50-х годов
How have you enjoyed carrying it? Im debating between this and a 627 for cc
I've been looking at different grips for 9mm LCR, and could not find the specs for them anywhere. Love LCR, but don't enjoy shooting it with factory fingered grip. For me, I think the longer 3 finger is the way to go. Great video! Thank you for posting it.
I'm considering getting the 586 L Comp and changing the front sight to the Hi-Viz like you did. That sight is taller than the factory night sight. Did you have to replace the rear sight blade with a taller one as well?
Beautiful revolver! 🇺🇸👍👍
Great video. This will be my next firearm
LCR 22 was the worst firearm purchase I ever made. All the grips for it are way huge for it.
Recently picked up the LCR in .357. Was going to change out the factory Tamer Hogue grip as I was thinking I wanted a full purchase. Much to my surprise the Tamer fits fine and I know it's better for pocket carry. Glad I waited. Good review.
You have girl hands!
Just leave it the way it was… you ocd gun guys that buy a gun and then change it are stupid.
Have to agree with not wanting your pinky dangling. Matter of preference on that.
Can’t pocket carry it the way it comes genius
@@MD-eo2wy Boot tamer it is. Smaller is better for CCW.
What! No scope or bayonet!
Very helpful. Thank you.
Can you tell me which front sight that is?
This 586 - L comp. Is the Larger frame 7 shot version of the 19 -k frame 6 shot carry comp . Much better for 357
The frame size of this is equivalent to a Smith J Frame?
Calibers with less recoil than .38 (and +p and .357mag), such as the .32 H&R mag, .32 S&W Long, or the .22wmr, .22LR are going to recoil enough less that some G10 or non-tamer padded option would be tolerable, I think.
Nice one that maybe recommended to footmen of the cops..❤
Great video, no wasted time. Thanks for making this.
Smith and Wesson's quality control is dog shit.
Beautiful second thought 627 they say is to heavy and little more bigger. But i see that that 686 is good enough fire power after all is magnum
Are the grips for 357/38 the same for 327
That looks a lot like a throw your ammo on the ground contrsption.
I have the 38 special, but damn is it ugly compared to a S&W
How is the bluing? And what is the double action trigger pull weight. I want to get this gun but i want to see it in person. I'm hoping the bluing is like my 586-8 and 29-10 classic but it doesn't look like it is from this video. Does anyone know how the bluing is and trigger pull weight
Thanks for Sharing video!
The S7W 586 L-Comp or the 19 Carry Comp? Why? Thanks!
That's what I would like to know! The L Comp seems like the clear choice with an extra round, but I don't know if that justifies an extra $300.
The G10 grip looks absolutely great - but I can easily imagine how it feels with even regular .38 Special, not to mention, +P (or .357 !). Each one is a compromise of one good feature for one bad, for either appearance, accuracy, concealment, or comfort. The Pachmayr Diamond Pro might be a good overall compromise.
Hey, have you noticed any accuracy issues when NOT using moonclips? Thanks?
Grip❤❤❤😌😌
Is The Ergo Grip For The LCR Any Good??
Looks funny but works great
Smooth.....❤
At that price point it should come with one of their speedloaders instead of the strip
I bought 2 of them back when they first came out. At the time they had the best trigger EVER on a snubbie revolver. One was for my sister. I shoot .38 Special rather than .357 -- because for personal protection up close we don't need to crack engine blocks. The only arguably better trigger now is the Kimber K6S.
The G10 Grips great. I have an LCRX in 22WMR. Would like to try that grip on it.
Stippling not stripling
How’s the trigger?
Amazing, better than my S&W PC revolvers
Quick question for you. It appears as though you have the cyclinder set up for moon clips. Did that come stock or did you have that done somewhere?
I purchased mine and after first rounds, I reloaded, and went to open cylinder and cylinder latch stuck with gun loaded. Been reading about problem. First will need to go to desert and MT the cylinder the old fashioned way. Second is unscrewing cylinder latch and using mallet tool to strike side of cylinder to see if it releases after it's unscrewed. I should have MTd cylinder at range but didn't understand problem until I took it home to digest problem. Mine is the performance center sñub nose 8 shot. Kudo's for Smith and Wesson making a 357 with 0 recoil on a 357 mag load. Shoots like a 22
I have the 986 which is basicly the same gun only in 9mm. Now that is a FUN gun to shoot. I shoot it more than any of my semi autos, and its accurate as all hell!!!
Speaking into the 🎤 mic would be helpful
986
Hey there! so, I got the same build with the Bantam boot tamer grips with the trijicon sights, I had a gun store worker put the bantam grips on for me, but he took out one of the blue cushions inside the grip, when I told him I wanted the blue cushion inside we couldn't take the bantam grip off the revolver, any suggestions?
Price$?
I bought the same exact one about a month ago and it had some issues with it. Finish was really bad on the barrel flats and the crown had a pretty bad ding in it. Brand new….i sent it back and still haven’t heard any update. I’ve actually had to send back just about every smith and Wesson I’ve bought in recent years. Their quality control is absolute crap nowadays.
Good coverage of carry options. Get you the G96 bluing marker and make that blemish from your drill Chuck disappear in seconds. It’ll actually reblue that tiny spot without any prep or difficulties. I use it on my blued models that get nicked on occasion. Click my name and it’ll take you to my video displaying it in action. Well worth 8 bucks.
Hogue EXTREME SERIES GRIP !
Can't here him
Just got this about a week ago now. Took it to the range and went through about half a box of 38sp. Switched to 357 mag and after three shots the front sight went flying. They sent me another sight but it slides right through it has to go back.
They must have cut the dove tail too large. I have the same gun and love it. Never had an issue but wish there was options for a different front sight like a Big Dot. I'd be interested in the end result after coming back from the Smith factory.
