@@thebutterflylady1300 I an building an indoor butterflies and moth aviary. I was going to add fine screen to a tall bird cage. Hoping it would be easy to keep clean and keep my dogs out. Since I also have an indoor edible garden; I was sticking to toxic varieties of butterfly and moth. Any advice? This is my personal conservation efforts. But I know little. If I can handle it then I will build a mobile raised flowerbed, with dirt patches for wild bee havens. Move them to a greenhouse. I understand if kept warm many will stay active. If that is true, opening greenhouse in summer could be a dense population release of local varieties. Would this even make a dent in the decline of biodiversity in insect world 🌎 Just thinking. If it would than we could add them to resilient housing styles they have developed in other countries. Amazing, they are food producing extended balconies, rain harvesting, green energy condo towers. The whole side of building is a hidden solar panel. They have hidden wind tunnels with wind turbines. The rainwater system has water turbines in the pipe just like the in pipe turbines in Portland Oregon. ❤ So if people made butterfly moth aviary, and flower boxes for bugs wouldn’t we be alright? 😊 Wish me luck.
