You think that Sae was trying to suppress her true form at the beginning of the battle? Like, she was trying to not show how she truly is but after being caught cheating she had unleashed her true form?
Kelly Johana the way I see it, the phantom thieves are dressed as what they think a villain looks like. This means makoto thinks a villain looks like some kind of rebellious evil biker/raider, which is exactly what shadow sae looks like.
According to the official art book, makoto’s spikes represents her suppressed anger seeping out in form of shape spikes The fact that Shadow Sae has THAT many spikes hints at how much more suppressed rage Sae has
This right here, was and still is my all time favorite boss of Persona 5. The gimmick is unique, she has enough HP and defense to have the fight be long without being tedious, she can wipe you out if you don't keep a firm eye on your health, and the dialogue with Makoto fighting feels more personal than with any of the others. A fitting boss for an amazing palace.
Looking forward to seeing gamers reactions to some of the new stuff in P5 Royal. Also worth mentioning how nice it was seeing Akechi giving Makoto reassurance before the battle with Sae unfolded.
I love how the bosses reveal their shadows in the game. Sae gets caught cheeting, and gets so angry to the point where she doesn't even care and reveals her inner anger repressed for so long
Not yet another Anime avatar yup, watching them over analyze the part if you gonna tell on you teammates are both hilarious and cringe at the same time.
You know what Sae's true form says to me? If you look at her, she's sporting a big ass sword, Guns strapped together of various types, body armor, and even face armor. She's so desperate to win, she's overcompensating during battle in the hopes that she'll be successful.
Personally i'd like to see reactions to getting hit by certain attacks in bosses such as Sae's penalty and desperation moves, Kamoshida's gold medal spike, Madarame's artist's grace or Shido's insane 3-tier attack he starts spamming towards the end of his battle to name just a few! After all many of them had quite the reaction to Severing Slash in this video alone.
Such a shame. Even if you don't particularly like the playstyle of a specific character or whatever it just feels *wrong* to not have the most connected person for the boss in the battle to help fix them
@@neoman4426 I mean, let people do what they want, yeah? Even if it may feel wrong to you, other people might not share your sentiments, and if it makes it easier for others to not use Makoto in this fight, then that's their choice. I might love Makoto, but I would NEVER tell someone that not using her for this fight is wrong.
Yeah, I can't imagine NOT having Makoto in your party for the boss fight. Honestly speaking, I kind of feel like the game should've forced you to have Makoto in the party for this.
I like Bittersweet Gamers' commentary at times, but other times they go way off the deep end with overanalyzing things. This can be especially frustrating when the game has either already given them the information they're trying to figure out, or is literally about to tell them it just before they go on a five minute diatribe. Them saying that Shadow Sae is "the opposite of her true nature" is a ridiculously bad example of this, given that Shadows have been explained time and time again to be the embodiment of a person's true thoughts and feelings.
This man throwing out videos like it's still Christmas. I'm here for it lol Plus when I first saw her actual shadow I was like huh....sae is into some kinky shit lol
I kinda wished her true form got some sort of cutscene when showing up. It looks less intimidating with the repeating movements of her in-battle sprite.
Am I the only one that felt sympathy for this boss? Mainly due to the way she sounds while speaking. I probably am. Though it’s funny cuz I wanted to deck her in the face after wat happened earlier in the game.
tfw your sister transforms into the patriarch from killing floor
I knew it looked familiar but I didn't know where was it from
Or a enemy from Silent Hill.
@@Enchie ikr? It DOES look a bit like Pyramid Head!

I can see that.
Can we just point out how Makoto and Sae's true forms have spikes on them?

@@Jose_Ruiz932 Slight correction: the Phantom Thieves are dressed how they believe a rebel looks like, doesn't have to be a villain.

mmhmm. Both wear all black, both have spikes XD they are inner goth girls

It was a very stale fight for me.

Man, wish boss battles had more like these gimmicks.
*sae transforms* o boy, here we go
Personally not a fan of the guessing game, but I still agree.
There's also Shido transforming into Bane and then Samael
The fortune fight from p3 was fun, you had to spin a wheel and it could give positive or negative effects to you or the shadow. Pretty fun
I love how the bosses reveal their shadows in the game.
Sae gets caught cheeting, and gets so angry to the point where she doesn't even care and reveals her inner anger repressed for so long
Bittersweet Gamers character analysis on Sae, or on every character is always awesome to see.
I feel like they go overboard sometimes.

1rotzy Indeed
And then thet started with the glass puns...
How much they talk?🤦♂️
I'd love to see their reactions to Haru's AoA art. That one looks classy aaaaaaf.
Kagato’s reaction was top tier.
What does "AoA" mean?

That sums it up, given how she does that IRL in order to be the top prosecutor that she is.
Also it looks like Makoto's PT outfit, since they're sisters and all :P
2:26 the craziest weapon i’ve seen is the one that Spinner (MHA) wields
You're not wrong there.
You guys think I would leave you on two really short videos?
No
Worth the watch no matter how long the videos are since they're all good ones
Not gonna lie, I actually missed the shorter videos that were at least 12 minutes long
Are you going to make another Persona 5 video?

MurderofBirds was the only one who didn’t have Makoto in the party here lol
Shen didn’t, either.
Ahh, I didn’t notice because her footage didn’t have the bit where Makoto reacts to Shadow Sae’s true form if she’s in the party

Yeah, Sae was actively framing people to get a perfect conviction record. Her palace was well-deserved.
If Sae ever got a Persona. Her abd Makoto's showtime should be like Mad Max.
Sae *rips off her mask* “rise... fa Mulan !”
Me before the fight: Why is she so hot!?
Me after she transforms: Eh, I still would.
Woah I didn’t the dialogue was different if you didn’t have makoto in your party that’s cool to know
Sae's transformation was so out of left field I would not expect something that horror and metal out of her shadow.
When Sae transformed, I was thinking "Fine, you want to play that card? Guess we'll have to up our game too!
