My big sister listened to this song on repeat all the time. I fell in love with it and would sneak in her room and listen to it when she wasn't home. I lost her a few years ago to cancer. She was only 37. Miss you Tiffany.
Had a stripper chick in Montreal that used to move towards me when this song came on for the 10 days I was there… Got her number and used to talk to her with me being in the U.S. and her being in Canada.. Her French accent proved to be too much.. The phone calls were…. Weird.
@CarianneHixson i know that feeling, at 50 there's not a lot of songs that still do that for me - I'm happy for you that you have this one (and a bit jealous)🥲
I was in my mid 20s when this song came out, now im an old fat man in my 50s, a broken body but eased mind, the nostalgia rolls over me like a velvet freight train, an ache for old friends ive not seen in so long, my life now is passing so quickly it seems, then time stretched out on and on...i dont know where im going with this, i reckon i miss the people of my youth, i dont miss the confusion, i miss the time stretched leisurely out before me, i dont miss the lack of direction and wishing i could be a better man, i like to think i became that better man, and this song helps me to put my life into perspective with its harsh contrast of 20s me and old man me.
The lack of drums in this song always gives me melancholic chills. Instead, they used the violin and/or cello, which makes it even more eerily beautiful. One of my favourite songs.
Legit! I was looking for songs for my son and I to jam to. Thought this one would be easy on the drums and I had a wtf moment! My ears were playing tricks on me in the 90's! lol! Good ol music!

Well I 56 and started out with Zep, Black Sabbeth, etc. and by the 90s thought it was over but grunge gave me a 2nd wind for music. But I have to say post 2000 I can't name one song or group that I know or like.
You are truly stone age. I can't hear another Beatles, Who or Stones song for the rest of my 60 year old body or my ears. Never mind Smoke on the Waters
Actually so nice flicking through the comments while listening to this, so many stories about what the music means to people, where they were/are in thier lives. Honestly a much needed boost of positivity right now.
And this tells us that those acts that palpably slow time down, are precious. An afternoon in the woods (without ''devices''), thumbing through pictures of your friends on a Saturday afternoon, meditation, and dusting off and getting lost again in the music that in youth we believed would be our daily fare. 😌

It was too bleak n depressing as I was highwired n more into 70s n wore vintage clothing n driving cheap classics like my 72 nova n 63 impala n 75 comet in high school. This song reminds me of the 90’s, of my teen years. I would listen to this song on loop until I’d fall asleep. It seemed so beautiful to me back then. It made me feel inexplicably nostalgic. Listening to it again now, I still feel it’s so beautiful.

It's what people are capable of when they're not spending all their time worrying about who they might offend; when they aren't catering to fractions of a percentage of the population.
This was the first song to play on the radio when I was driving home from the hospital after my Mom suddenly passed away. Cherish your loved ones and spend as much time as you can with them because you never know when it will all come to an end.
My dad just passed in January from covid. It felt like I got kicked in the stomach. It hurts so much to lose the ones we love the most. I thought we had more time. I hope you're doing well 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗 I'm just taking things one moment at a time 💔
I was born very first day of woodstock Festival 1969. I was old enough to be in music circles here in the pacific Northwest when the grunge era began. Living near Seattle All my life ,oh the stories.
3-14-2019 I'm 39 and this brings me back to my childhood. I miss these days so much just hanging out listening to music. The music from back then makes so much more sense.
My dad blasted this when I was 9 and my mom had terminal cancer. I’ll never forget how absolutely sad I felt at that moment and how we all just sunk into immediate depression ... RIP mom
I do not understand why I love this song so much. Their music in general always stops me and holds me fast and I feel the need to turn it up until I feel the vertebration in my body. This song in particular hits me though.
Stumbled across an old burned cd in my car. Had this in the mix. Damn, it felt just like a mental time machine. Almost broke down in tears on the freeway. Where has the time gone?? The sand in the hourglass is falling faster and faster....
Man. .. and you really can't explain to younger people how fast it's going to happen to them. I wish I could, so they could live as hard as we would've if we saw it coming.
This reminds me of chilling with my Dad back in my early teens. It also embodies the 90s in my opinion. This song is super underrated, idk why people forget this one
2025 and this is still my favorite song of all time. Gavin's voice, guitar riffs, violin, cello and the lyrics talking about a troubled relationship. True masterpiece!
When you grew up in the 90s music like this just brings back so many good memories I think we can all agree on that Im now 38 and now this songs means more to me now then it did back then
To add to the maudlin comments - my best friend was murdered in 1997. He loved this song and it was played at his funeral. I don't particularly like the song, especially now, but I end up here every now and then when I'm reminded of it. Different kind of nostalgia.
I feel the same way. I wish I wasn't but it's True. Honored to have saw Bush perform this song Live at CBS On Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles. Great Memories
Far Behind ,definitely calls to mind difficult permanent losses of friends / loved ones in our lives. Yet it helps me remember just how important it is to always be honest & grateful My sis & I I just lost a beautiful friend to Cancer. She died 12 min after giving birth. She was so happy I have met her daughter she still had the smile on her face. Rest in peace Rachael Leigh
This song has stuck by me for almost 30 yrs. Was the soundtrack through an abusive relationship and all my loves and losses, my drug use, my alcoholism, My recovery and my sobriety. This is the song I want played when my time is up…
This song came out when I was barely legal to drink. Now I’m 50 and the world is soooo different! I wasn’t a mom yet and now I’m a mom and old enough to be a grandma. Where does the time go?!!! Enjoy your youth young people. Hang on to those you care about. You never know how much time you have, and It’s gone in the blink of an eye.
“Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the wrong. Because sometime in life you will have been all of these.” ― George Washington Carver. Great comment.
I vividly remember making my mom do loops around the neighborhood coming home from piano lessons, hoping this song would play on 97.5 PST at like 6pm in the summer when everything was glowing gold. Man. I miss the 90s.
'Couldnt love u more, you've got a beautiful taste'- my bf sang that line to me n touched my face one gorgeous sunny afternoon when this song was on the radio...wow- what an awesome moment n this song forever takes me there
yes but the video needs more closeups of Gavin Rossdale. I mean, look, the other members of the band are cool and all, but the camera needs more Rossdale. . . . that's sarcasm by the way....he's apparently ably backed by a group of out-of-focus guys. I think they are Lebanese, but no one can really tell.
I remember being a child with my dad in the truck, we would listen to this song everytime, he passed away when I was only 7, this song leaves a scar on my heart but yet heals that wound 😔😔😭😭💖💖

That's very cool, man! Did he like it? Keep on rockin' man :)

Hhhh. Yes.
This was the first song to play on the radio when I was driving home from the hospital after my Mom suddenly passed away. Cherish your loved ones and spend as much time as you can with them because you never know when it will all come to an end.
❤❤❤❤❤
Very true ma wee darlin. Hope you are good kid
My dad just passed in January from covid. It felt like I got kicked in the stomach. It hurts so much to lose the ones we love the most. I thought we had more time. I hope you're doing well 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗 I'm just taking things one moment at a time 💔
Sorry for your loss 💖 Yes Your comments so true!
Sorry to hear :(
So thankful my parents made me listen to 90s 🙏
Nostalgia hurts so bad when you know it’ll never go back to how it was and it’ll never get better than it was then.
Exactly.
So true today sucks.
It's got to get better. There's always hope.
@@futuristcorporation I hope so bro.
It hurts all the more now living in this absolutefuckin hell this world has become
Just went to his concert in Pennsylvania 06/1/024!! It was absolutely amazing!! Childhood dream came true!! Love him and all his music!! ❤
Just saw them in Maryland on Sunday. It was incredible!
Hi I want to Recommend a song to you entitled 'Life changes' By Robert Nix
Im 98 and still jam to this song. My wife died 33 years ago and this was our song. I miss you Agnus. See you soon
Ya, I want to go to a place where Angus (ANGUS YOUNG) is as well, rock out in the clouds
Rock on brother!!!!! 😁
keep rocking my man
I'm 99, and a home health nurse has to wipe my ass 3 times a day, but I still like me some BUSH in the morning.
LOL
Music will never be as good as it was in the 90’s. So appreciative I was a teenager at that time.
90's kids are blessed with song's like these..and i'm lucky i'm one of those 90's kids....😉
1990 myself amen for the 90s
I was born very first day of woodstock Festival 1969.
I was old enough to be in music circles here in the pacific Northwest when the grunge era began.
Living near Seattle All my life ,oh the stories.
I came across an awesome new grunge band bringing back the early 90’s sound

:( I missed the 90s by 6 years i was born in 2005 but 90s rock/grunge is still my 3rd favorite genre
3-14-2019 I'm 39 and this brings me back to my childhood. I miss these days so much just hanging out listening to music. The music from back then makes so much more sense.
I'm 38 and it makes me miss the 90's when the world wasn't crazy!!

Sept 26, 2024! I love everything about this song. And Gavin looks pretty good in this video, too!
I really miss these types of music videos. The song is great too but this music video is quintessential '90s.
My dad blasted this when I was 9 and my mom had terminal cancer. I’ll never forget how absolutely sad I felt at that moment and how we all just sunk into immediate depression ... RIP mom
🕯
sorry... to hear it ... we are inmortals in a mortal body...

RIP i'm sorry for you❤

Listening to Bush since the 90s - great stuff!
Im 31 and this song has so much more meaning than it did at 13. Ill never forget those memories listening to this with my dad at 13. 😭 RIP Dad!🥺
It's a very deep feeling song it relaxes my mi mind
RIP dad Callaway 😥😔
man, that's so sad
Your fathers soul lives on
@@frankgall7397 This is true, very true.
@Ellis Bell thank you 💙 same to you
😭😭😭
What else was on the cd?
Man. .. and you really can't explain to younger people how fast it's going to happen to them. I wish I could, so they could live as hard as we would've if we saw it coming.
it hurts looking back and forward at the same time.
This reminds me of chilling with my Dad back in my early teens. It also embodies the 90s in my opinion. This song is super underrated, idk why people forget this one
"I'm never alone, I'm alone all of the time." - One of the best lyrics in all of rock - EVER.
It really is - and it captures that feeling with such simplicity
Definitely one of the best lyrics ever. Hits home so much
Yes it is...
I don’t get it. Is it supposed to be profound?
@@all.the.same.iProductions it means you may be surrounded by people but still feel utterly alone/lonely
2025 and this is still my favorite song of all time. Gavin's voice, guitar riffs, violin, cello and the lyrics talking about a troubled relationship. True masterpiece!
I miss the 90s, the music was great and life was easier
Yes I agree miss the 90s
This song is a perfect example why I love the 90s
Maybe the world did end and we're all ghosts drifting towards mediocrity and despair.
years happpy 90
When you grew up in the 90s music like this just brings back so many good memories I think we can all agree on that Im now 38 and now this songs means more to me now then it did back then
Many of the songs from the 90's fit my life now at 39 years old.
Totally agree!

To add to the maudlin comments - my best friend was murdered in 1997. He loved this song and it was played at his funeral. I don't particularly like the song, especially now, but I end up here every now and then when I'm reminded of it. Different kind of nostalgia.
“I’m never alone. I’m alone all the time..” That hits hard.. but it’s true.
I feel the same way. I wish I wasn't but it's True. Honored to have saw Bush perform this song Live at CBS On Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles. Great Memories
Es verdad la soledad es algo difícil, pero creo que eso uno lo elige, amo está canción.

Love the violin blended into the background in this song. Just beautiful music, with or without the vocals.
Loved hearing my Dad and his band play this song... he did guitar and at times lead vocals.... makes me feel like he is right here 2023

I don't want to come down from this cloud said The Rooster wishing it would 'ave lingered a little longer.
It felt like we hung on to it until around 2002 or so before it all went to shit. Idk
@Endless Nameless 80s and 90s are the 2 decades I wish I could've lived in. So much good music and movies from that time.
Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots

Will always love this song.
This was the first song I learnt to play on guitar.
I love them they was my 1st band I cared anything about and still listen to and gavin is still fine as hell God I miss the 90s
Who's will
'Couldnt love u more, you've got a beautiful taste'- my bf sang that line to me n touched my face one gorgeous sunny afternoon when this song was on the radio...wow- what an awesome moment n this song forever takes me there
yes but the video needs more closeups of Gavin Rossdale.
I mean, look, the other members of the band are cool and all, but the camera needs more Rossdale.

that's sarcasm by the way....he's apparently ably backed by a group of out-of-focus guys. I think they are Lebanese, but no one can really tell.
I remember being a child with my dad in the truck, we would listen to this song everytime, he passed away when I was only 7, this song leaves a scar on my heart but yet heals that wound 😔😔😭😭💖💖

It's a amazing song ♡ , my condolences sir/mam I'm so sorry you lost your father

The one that started it all. Seen them 3’s times. So damn good. The lyrics, guitar and violins. But mostly Gavin’s voice.
Hello Susan, i hope you are doing well? It’s really nice meeting you here.
'90's to the early 2000's was a great time for music.
There’ll never be another decade like the 80’s-90’s✌🏻💔...
Actually 2080 will be the new 80s and it will eventually be known as the 802 for everyone born after that
Ryan Playz the new 80’s are gonna suck compared to the old 80’s!
That's actually 2 decades but OK.
There's one or two things from the 80s, but it was generally shit for music and fashion. 70s is pure music, and 90s was amazing
you could say that about every single decade.
This song is so beautiful. I get a bit emotional every time that violin hits at 2:56. Wish I could go back to the 90s.
Love it! Songs nowadays aren’t what they used to be. Nice to still have access to many of the greats from 90s/early 2000s.
Can't believe it's almost three years since you passed away Brooke Angela Brewer. You have my heart, mind, and soul forever. Listening to this music without you isn't the same. Rest in Peace Brooke Angela Brewer
Meet Gavin yesterday in London. Lovely bloke and easy to talk to.
Carl Baker totally jealous.
Dolly Daggar best bit for me was my 20 year old son recognised him as well!!!
Carl Baker that is one kid to be proud of right there bro. Congrats. My seven year old knows the words to Glycerine. Has for a few years now, so I know the feeling.
So many years later and I still love this song. Miss the 90's.
