    VIDEO INTRODUCTION:
    Go Airlines (India) Ltd was granted bankruptcy protection on Wednesday, bolstering the country's fourth-largest carrier's chances of getting back on its feet, but lessors have started mounting legal challenges to repossess planes.
    The low-cost carrier recently rebranded as Go First, was plunged into a financial crisis this year, sparked by what it called "faulty" Pratt & Whitney engines that grounded about half its 54 Airbus A320neos.
    Hence, if you're looking to understand the entire story behind go first bankruptcy, what happened to go first, why go first flights are getting cancelled and why did Go First go bankrupt, you're at the right video!

      It varied from time to time. Like during Sindhu saraswati civilization the society was much much more egalitarian as one found more public architecture than royal architecture. Whereas Mughal times have negligible public architecture, just mausoleums and larger than life Graves.
      It is largely agreed upon that in the 600-700 AD era, India witnessed large scale de-urbanization and deindustrialisation. Which inturn lead to solidification of caste identities and limited social mobility. This was also when the first wave of Islamic conquests began. If one reads the foreign accounts pre de-urbanization and post de-urbanization, the difference is huge.
      I believe that our society in comparison to others of the era was at its zenith during the Sindhu saraswati civilization. After that if not better than us, there were civilizations who were at par.

      In Mughal and Turkic times , it has been found by historians that the rulers extracted all wealth from their subjects , especially the Hindus .
      However before the invaders , rulers lived life like normal people . That's why great Indian rulers don't have any palaces etc .

    Hi team,
    Have been watching your videos for quite a while now, really liked the ease at which you explain simple topics and share all the sides of the coin with the wider audience.
    However, in this specific video, I feel that some more information could be shared on the negative impacts of bankruptcy and what it does for a company in the long run (like less confidence of future promoters/banks etc.). The outlook which an average viewer(like me) might have gotten from the video is that bankruptcy is a masterstroke to hit pause on your liabilities, but in reality this is actually a last resort which a company uses to save itself from liquidation.
    Thanks,
    KG

      Adding some late thoughts - take this as just a constructive feedback from a average subscriber. I know a lot of thought might have gone into deciding whether or not to extend the video and make the concept crisp enough so that people can understand it.

    This sounds so unfair for Banks, Could you please bring a case study for Banks NPA we have seen in past, how are banks still operable (most of it) after such terrible losses.

    • @veernair
      @veernair Рік тому +12

      The primary objective of banks is to lend money and generate profits, not to offer charity or interest-free loans. Therefore, if a bank's lending decisions result in losses, it is reasonable for the bank to suffer the consequences. When banks take the risk of lending to high-risk businesses like airlines, they do so with the expectation of earning a high return on investment. Thus, if things go wrong and the investment does not perform well, the bank's interests in such a business dictate that it bears the loss as part of its normal business operations.
      Main goal of the society is to promote enterprise and innovation not to promote license raj banks.

      Before declaring bankruptcy managements pillage the money taken from the lenders and salt it away, mostly overseas. While small business owners have to pledge immovable assets usually worth 5/10 times the amount of loan. Less than 1% wilful defaulters face the discordant music of law. Ugly face of Indian corporate borrowers.

    • @kumargourav6791
      @kumargourav6791 Рік тому +2

      @@sunilkumargarg9676 you are hyphenating few and generalising it to many. Bankruptcy is just like a process where a student or any employee failed in the subject or the job for which they have to restart again. If this process isn’t accepted openly and despised then surely India is never gonna produce daring-entrepreneur. That’s why US and western countries have so many opportunities & people move their to start businesses.

Quiet a few of the sort from India took overseas flights. Jet Air guy was stopped from boarding a plane. Here, Wadia’s are rich. They got stakes in so many companies that they can sell to payoff the Banks. Going bankrupt is a ploy to save assets. Is there any shame left.
