I didn’t think there would be this much attention from so many ppl! Just a week ago I only had a bit over 100 subs and my previous vids garnered a few hundred views at most.
Initially, I thought using an AI David Attenborough would be a fun choice to voice Pokearth but didn’t understand the potential consequences that came with it. After looking into it a bit more, I DEFINITELY want to avoid any potential problems headed my way.
I don’t know if this will help but I will NOT be monetizing this video and my other AI Attenborough video. Also, future episodes of the series will instead be voiced by a voice actor. I won’t be touching AI voices anymore
makes me so happy to see stuff like this! like there really is no huge reason why people shouldn't use AI voices in casual non-professional projects but it's still so much cooler to see artists supporting artists and actual humans being given opportunities to use their skills. very cool of you to make that decision

That's understandable. But seriously, I have always been saying that the pokemon company NEEDS to do something like this. An Our Planet type of documentary with pokemon. Thank God, someone had the same idea but can actually do something with it. 😂

The best part is that the impact from each hit actually feels like it has some weight behind it. It might be slow and goofy looking, but you get the sense that if one of those decides to slam itself against your leg, you are _crawling_ home.

They are also squishing and exceedingly goofy looking creatures and their fights look just as unimpressive but really, that's only cause they are hitting anothe creature as tough as they are. If a human got in the middle of that we'd be splattered.

When I played Scarlett, my Clodsire I swear had beef with everything. He made it hard to catch pokemon because he would just 1 shot them. But he was the most wonderful blob

Between this and the Pokemon Concierge show on Netflix, I think we need more content on just the daily lives of Pokemon.

I love the small bits of physical humor with its quite accurate national geographic documentary aspect. The biological accuracy is perfect for someone like me who references real life animal biology to fictional creatures.

You don't know how much I've wanted the Pokémon Company to actually produce a "Planet Earth" style documentary but with Pokémon within their native regions. If they won't, I'm glad talented fans like you exist to step up to the plate and realize the full potential of this franchise. Awesome work!

While fans kept buying the TGC, merch, anime/movies, spinoff mobile games, their mainline game that almost exactly the same from decades ago and now turned mostly into promotions of their pokemon gen lineup nothing else. They already have a good long lasting moneymaker until collecting virtual animal forcibly and make em fight for the human trainer isnt cool anymore lol. Love the idea of Pokemon nature documentaries! This is so well done! I would love to see the mud actually sticking to them if that's possible, I think it would add a little extra spice to it.

Much of the audio comes from his narration of other documentaries (specifically, mudskippers and elephant seals). AI was only necessary for swapping in individual words like “Clodsire” and “Paldea.”

I love the way the Clodsires fight so much! Some IRL animal standoffs can be just as goofy 😂. The only tiny missed opportunity here was for the Clodsires to puff up a bit or maybe show their spines as to try and intimidate their rival before the "brawl"
Definitely based off elephant seals. This was soooo adorable but man while elephant seal encounters are hilarious at first, it really is wild how much damage their weight does. Gets bloody quick!
I love Clodsire so much! I recently did a Nuzlocke of Scarlet, and my Clodsire, Noodle, was one of my strongest and longest-standing team members. Tragically, she sacrificed her life in the final battle so her teammates could snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat. RIP Noodle; you were the true hero of the run.

Not only do the graphics, animations, and voice-over look and sound SO amazing, the attention to small details really made this into something special. The whooper plopping its head down in the mud unprompted, the various ways the clodsires fought, etc really breathed life into these pokemon and made the whole thing much more immersive. Congrats, you deserve every bit of attention this has received! Keep up the good work😊
Unfortunately the voice over is AI, but I'm really looking forward to future videos featuring a proper VA.

@@rhaegal5650 That would definitely be ideal as far as AI usage goes. I'm not all that familiar with his work because I mainly watch documentaries in my native language, but I can tell it stuck with people.
