Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

14:01 wrong, it doesn't extend the duration. Once the EMP is inflicted, you can't add to or reset the time for the EMP to go away. The best thing you can do is fire all of them at once, so you affect a whole area, and then wait 10 seconds for the reload, which coincides with the EMP duration. That way, you effectively never let your enemy go active.
That’s true, but staggering the fire also has the benefit of having a higher chance of a single missile making it through the AA defense, and due to emp’s having such a large splash radius anyways it locks down most of the base anyway.
Robot753 Animations or even better, you emp both enemies in a tri- barrage of emp fire, and let your teammate tech up and kill them.
what is the duration of one inflicted EMP ?
@@brendanmewburn1056 yet he wasn't firing at both forts was he? i'm just correcting Incursus' assumption about the EMP and what he teaches his viewers. He specifically said "to keep the EMP effect for as long as possible", which is wrong. plus, at some points in battle the enemy had no AA, so staggering would have been stupid, yet he enforced that strategy anyway.

It was late at night. Me and a friend were in a discord call playing ranked, He complained about a EMP rusher. After that match he searched for another match, and he Found the SAME person and got wrecked. I was weary and I searched for a match and when I found one I was subjected to an EMP rush that matched the description he provided. We encountered this man 6 times in total
Ive gone against Incursious with missiles. You wont win but you will sure learn how to build back up quickly and survive for as long as possible XD

Try making the bottom wood tilted down when it slopes, this might increase stability and defend the supporting metal.

Does Emp stop repairs? Would an emp + firelazer combo synergize?
EMP stops weapons firing, stops construction, stops repair and holds doors open.
An EMP + firebeam combo would definitely work and if you time it right you can light the rockets on fire
Yes. Ideally you'd EMP rush while your team mate does a laser rush. EMPs stop energy shields and repairing, lasers cause lots of fire and can cut an unprotected base down.

You would probably be able to T3 hellfires but the spread would be too big to be effective
I wonder if it's possible to save your base from falling by putting loads of anti grav chambers so it sorta floats.
You can definitely get neutral buoyancy but it’s really difficult. You’ll either not have enough thrust and fall into the ground, or you’ll have too much and float away.

Can you indefinitely upgrade a tanya's mod gatling gun and shred your enemies?
from what I have experienced the mods aren't compatible. Not only does indef upgrades (or at least the one I have) only affect base game weapons (except swarms) but some base game weapons such as sniper are altered by tonyas and are no longer compatable with indef upgrades
Do the mega emp with the indefinite upgrades mod.
i still think ap sniper + 2 nukes is the most overpowered rush in the game

Do EMPs open doors?
I know they shut down energy shields, and I know they turn off other devices and make weapons unusable, but if they open doors then why aren't EMPs incorporated into every attack build ever?
Let's paint the picture. You have cannons out, it's around the 6 minute mark. Opponents are also running cannons. The only difference is that you have an EMP launcher. You take the EMP and you hit their cannon emplacements. Bam, doors open, cannons unable to fire. Then, you take a cannon shell of your own and slam it into their cannon emplacements. Their weapons are gone, you have the upper hand, and all it took was a single EMP to make the difference.
I don't know why they're not often used alongside other offensive options.
It stops doors opening or closing, not setting them to open. Also by the time an emp makes it across the field, a responsive player would have shut their doors.

You cant just focus on defense, apart from the fact that you need economy and space to do so, and dont think about building metal and energy shields.
In forts the best defence is a great offence

This is the strategy that the hard mode AI likes to use, and it's soo annoying.
With 100000000 flak missiles still get through, but then when he has 1 mg he shoots down all of mine...
