Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

3 Options:
a) This guy is the god of this game
b) The matchmaking sucks hardcore
c) He uploads only his victories
c) isn't true since there are occasions in which he does get killed especially during longer streams.
@@VulpeculaJoy even if he "only" wins > 75% on stream option a or b would apply. Haven't seen a loss on UA-cam tbh.
I don't know much about the mm but Incursus has basically perfected every aspect of this game.
He builds quick and precise, knows about balance and weight distribution so he rarely ever gets crippled due to structural failures, he knows all the weapons damages, reload times and counters and he skillfully manages his eco.
Essentially these three points are the things every RTS master is exeptionally skilled in:
*Quick reaction, precision, managing eco and knowing every stat and strat and counter*

@@Dino-oh7xh If you're on mobile, top right corner, tap the 3 dots, tap speed, and then adjust to your liking.
If your on a computer or laptop, go to the bottom right of the video, click on the settings, click speed, and ajust to your liking.
Alduin the Anti-Dragonborn I’m on mobile but It doesn’t say speed anywhere after I click the three dots.
@@Dino-oh7xh Should be under the captions option, which is under the quality option. It's called Playback speed, and it should say "Normal" after it. Tap that and ajust your speed.

You should make a "Little tips you should know" for Forts. Like, I kinda know about slanted metal, but I don't know the why's behind a lot of the things I see you do.
I don't even own the game (yet), but I'm enjoying learning by watching you play
I've been compiling a lot of those kinds of things to make a video. There's a lot of nuance. But I'm always happy to explain should you like.

I like to see if Incursus can build 3 Atom Cannon and have immense energy.

I saw the screen go white well before the Atom Cannon projectile started making its way down and I was just thinking: "No... That didn't really just happen, did it?"

If you look at the angel of the bombs coming from up top you will realise that another machine gunner facing in the other direction of the enemy will hit the mortar bombs sooner

This game looks pretty neat honestly, reminds me a lot of Total Annihilation with economy management and the game ending when the core explodes (in TA it's the commander).
They bounced that laser onto their buddy... and that seemed to do a serious amount of destruction there. :-P
That middling hit with the ATOM though... just busted their plans ALL up.
A hidden sniper and artillery... two of THE most demoralizing weapon systems in existence. :-)

The Sound at 5:35 is the sound of a german Nebelwerfer and this sound is used in Company of Heroes.

Tier-3 atom cannon? What is Tier-2 atom cannon?
I think it's a joke when the game first launched, somebody would make a cannon be slanted in the way the atom cannon was and they would call it "Tier 3 Moarters" due to the fact that there was no 3rd tier upgrade for moarters and cannon shots cannot be shot down unlike tier 1 and 2 moarters and that armor/shields on top was very uncommon/wasteful in a conventional game, and those 2 items were really the only way to defend against cannons.

Maybe some Tanyas could offset the metal drain slightly?
5 or even 10 tanyas isn't too much investment IMO, to make the metal cost of an atom cannon less painful. Still gonna want upgraded mines too.

why isent metal used more for constructing since its so strong but rarely used even when there is alot of spare eco
Because it's expensive and heavy. The up front cost is huge, and the repair cost of metal is debilitating. Repairing 2 struts of metal is enough to put a full vanilla economy into the negative. Additionally, metal is heavy and can't support weapons, meaning it easily imbalances a base. Wood, for all its nuance, is simply more cost efficient at defending.
