Not to take sides, but if one composer is *the* soul of a dev studio's "soul", then he isn't the soul. Also Martin O'Donnell cannot take all the credit for Halo's music as Michael Salvatori and others have worked on the music. Also Bungie is doing pretty good without Martin O'Donnell and Destiny's music is still regarded as really good. Michael Salvatori is pretty good, especially with the other composers that he works with.
In the middle of reading ghost of onyx, which is the origin of the Spartan-III's. It took an entire week of augmentations to "graduate" but the candidates were in semi-concious state during the administration of said drugs. This trailer is awesome, but needlessly cruel lol
im a very sensitive person and i have always been, this video taught me the feeling of doing something because you have to, doing something because you are the person that the job is for. thank you halo
1. Dope trailer 2. Why don't they hire bigger dudes to be in their trailers? 3. Kinda ruins it to see that his armour was all premade like that, it wasn't just his individualism
When you're a soldier, you don't really have the luxury of choosing your arsenal. Especially in this setting, each soldier is tested and then assigned to a job based on their abilities, and as such, the armour is suited to them.
+Zeibentaul Emile strapped a knife to his shoulder, and scratched a skull into his visor. I doubt the grenades, shotgun shells, and tactical soft case came standard either. Jorge's armor was the prototype for shielding tech, which is pretty unique. Jun's armor has extra sniper ammo, and I doubt the scarf was always one there. 6 can look however you want, which can lead to some armor combos that make no sense. Kat and Carter are the two most by the books members of Noble Team, they just don't customize their armor.
I thought they were far more cybernetic than what this shows. Then again, that could be traumatic for many younger audiences so I can understand why those details are omitted.
this is the spartan lll program, what you’re referring to is Spartan ll augmentation where scars and many more were implemented into the candidates body. spartan lll are much safer just below the lls a little bit. but they have a unique drug that enhances their battle prowess in combat, this whenever they get injured or bled they only felt numb because of the drug. negative side effect is it affects their critical thinking during battles and had to take injections every time to curb the drug a little bit.
@@Liaison_Verequiem No that's not exactly accurate. Spartan II augmentation was definitely more surgical but that was moreso because of a lack of technology. Basically so many candidates died in the spartan 2 program because of human error whereas spartan 3s had machines with much better data augment them. The only cybernetic stuff between them was the ability to interface with AI
@@Liaison_Verequiem Only Gamma company spartan IIIs have the pain/trauma enhancements to keep fighting with what would be fatal injuries like when I believe Olivia ran in the books and her knees were literally dangling at the same time. Graphic stuff.
Spartan 3s are the best Spartans change my mind. They literally turned the tide of the human covenant war saving humanity. Did the most deadly missions against the covenant that were all suicide missions. Rated as the most lethal in combat against the covenant and most likely cause they’re all orphans who willingly chose to be Spartans cause they HATE the covenant for killing their families and homes. And they did all this without mjolnir armor.
This is a nitpick, but would he not be too old to be Carter getting his augmentations? We know they are recruited as orphans around 4-6 with Kat and Noble 6 being outliers and older than the norm. Kat was 22 on reach and this guy seems around that age. Idk just a nit pick (Edit) we know carter was deployed after his augmentation which was around when he was 16, this guy doesn’t look 16
He looks 15-16 to me. Obviously he looks a bit tougher and harder around the edges due to training and augments, but his face still look pretty teenager to me just tougher and mature
It is explained in detail in the first Halo book "The Fall of Reach" as well as "Ghost of Onyx". When people are subjected to rigorous training and excellent nutrition, as in the particular case of the Spartans who were trained as children, a child of 10/12 years old comes to wear the body of an Olympic athlete between 18/22 years in his best physical condition. This condition is achieved naturally before receiving the hormonal and surgical augmentations that are the final step in becoming second or third generation Spartans. The only difference is that Carter, as well as all the Spartan IIIs, were orphans and therefore could be children or teenagers because the age restriction for the Spartan IIs was removed to have a greater number of candidates. What I mean is that the Spartans are children in adult bodies. There are a number of testimonials throughout the Halo stories about how Marines or other officers were taken aback by seeing the face of a child in the body of what at first glance is the body of an adult. The final scene of "Halo: Forward unto dawn" is a good example of how young cadets did not believe that such young people were under such imposing armor when a couple of Spartans took off their helmets.
@@Noirshock they were given growth hormones and multiple bones and muscle supplements. To have the physique of an 18 year old athlete at 12 or 13 is very much impossible. Only this time the hormones are given THROUGH meals and diet rather than shoving into them in a capsule
