Honestly seeing Kirk get all that protection when passing makes me happy. Good things happen when Kirk isn't too pressured
Not a fan of either the Vikings or Packers but got to agree 1000% Kohl. Kirk is a good (not "elite") QB and if he has the protection that the Vikings O-Line had in this season opener, they will be at least a playoff team.
Having an o line makes a difference. Something I wish da bears had.
I think Kirk is also starting to allow himself to take more hits too. He took a few hits but still released the ball today. He might still yet impress.
And with all that said, he's still a mediocre QB who you can't count on to win big games.
I think if you put Kirk on a well-structured team that isn’t lacking in any particular area that he will put up monster numbers. But he’s not really a QB that can make something out of nothing, once things start to not go his way he struggles
Seeing us play with an offense designed in this century is so much fun. In a more competitive game, JJ goes over 200 easily. Secondly, I hope this goes to show how insanely good Danielle hunter is. The Vikings were a 12-15 defense last year prior to his injury, 31-32md post injury.

The Vikings looked excited to play and energized, like they were having fun. It was awesome to see them play like that and to beat the Packers.

I'm liking the changes the Vikings have made. Been saying for years that they need to shore up that defense. They were impressive today. Everything fell in to place, showing exactly what every Viking fan knew they were capable of!

Every player gets one 1st play in his NFL career, one 1st play, ever, will never have another chance. The coaches need to teach that, nothing more important than getting it right. A dropped pass dropped into his lap like that, a perfect “dime”, is not good.
Yes, I was surprised that there wasn't a flag on the Vikings on that play. Not that they committed a penalty or anything. I guess Rogers is no longer the NFL's pampered puppy anymore.

I agree with Jesse. You are blind if you think the Packers were "in this game." They were dominated, start to finish. This is what happens when your front office continually lets talented WRs walk with something left in the tank because they either don't want to pay them or don't have the money to pay them, thinking they'll replace them in the draft or free agency. Vikings played incredible defense against Rodgers.
Tae had more yards than all of the packers WRs combined.

Way to go Vikings! I have been a die heart Vikings fan for 46 years. It's been painful from time to time, but I will never switch. Jefferson was the star of the game but Cousins deserves a gold star. I think Aaron Rodgers was getting frustrated because his receivers weren't getting open. We all know better than to count the Packers out, but this one was sweet.

I've been crying for an o line for way too long, when the o line plays good he'll sexy rexy, smokin Jay, trubisky, and even fields has shown they can ball with the best of them and look damn good. That's been our biggest issue is we put bowling pins up front to protect our QBs they barely look up from getting the ball from the snap and already have 1-3 guys in their face 😓

It’s hilarious hearing all these casuals talking about the packers “missing the playoffs” and “not winning many games” this year 😂 last year they came out and lost 38-3 to THE SAINTS, and that was WITH DAVANTE. Davante Adams didn't get the respect he deserved.
Kinda seems like the Packers organization doesn't respect any of their players, save Aaron Rodgers. But maybe they're finally learning that one guy actually can't win all by himself.
I honestly expected the Packers to beat the Vikings in Minnesota, but a friend of mine kept telling me they don't do well playing the Vikings on the road. After checking out the highlights, now I fully understand why he told me that information.
We don’t play well in Detroit either so wouldn’t be shocked if we lose there too
Remember last season too the Packers started off against the Saints looking terrible letting James Winston throw four touchdowns on just 15 passes, a rod did nothing either.

@@RPINCo yep total jones had 8 touches for 76 yards and dillon had 91 on 15, and dillon may be the big back but jones is better at getting in the end zone
