Going from Amari Rodgers to Keisean Nixon at kick returner has been huge for the Packers. I actually get excited every time the opposing team kicks or punts to us, Keisean is a BEAST.
Yes. It's gotta be great for any offense to know that they won't be starting at the 20 or 25 yard line 8 times a game. I'm a Packer fan. It's been 20 years since we had a guy like Nixon. We were always jealous of the Devin Hester type guys in the league. Now, maybe we got one.

G.B. is 4.5 favs versus Detroit (I'd take the spread), but guys like Nixon and Baklarti's return and the 4 main receivers getting to know Aaron brings us closer to S.F. or Philly/Dallas offensively. Special teams could decide some playoff matchups.

I swear this is the first time this year I've seen the whole team come together and play well all four quarters. Offense, defense, and special teams absolutely had a day and I'm so glad it was against the Vikings.

This is easily the best game of the season for the Green Bay Packers. They played fantastic on both ends of the ball, especially on defense.
Of course it is. Not too often you see special teams being the bright spot... Well, next to our defense that literally turned into the '85 Bears. Every play we were just swarming the ball carrier like we knew exactly what was gonna happen. That's the defense we thought we were getting when we bolstered it this off season

It's actually kind of refreshing as a Packers fan to watch a come-from-behind season. If they make it into the playoffs it will be considered a win ... rather than running up the wins in the regular season and then disappointing in the post-season.

This was strategy by Minnesota to get the 3rd seed instead of 2nd which gives them a better matchup in the wildcard round and a better chance to avoid San Francisco who is the worst scenario for them in the playoffs. If Greenbay wins next week they will face San Francisco in San Francisco. Minnesota will get the Giants who they can beat.
This game has no impact or bearing on the Vikings season...They are Kings of the North....

Rodgers might have not been perfect, although he played well, but he's footwork and legs are starting to peak at the right time. He's really looking rejuvenated and moving around great back there. It's all starting to come together. If Rodgers has a big game in the future, this team is extremely dangerous to say the least. As for the rest of what we saw on defense and special teams, it speaks for itself

Even if the Packers fail to make the postseason, at least the Packers can say that not only did they not go out with a whimper, but they avenged an embarrassing week 1 loss in phenomenal fashion. And considering how this season started, that's more than enough for me, as it certainly gives me a lot of hope for the future with this team. They truly are not dead yet.

All we need is not just a win over Detroit, but Rodgers continuing to improve with his young playmakers. There's still a gap on offense between G.B. and teams like S.F. and Philly, but stranger things have happened. Having Baklarti healthy is one great positive.

Green Bay wouldn't have gotten those Georgia D guys, and it enabled the team to draft Watson and Doubs. It might be too early to see all the effects of everything if Green Bay beats Detroit, but hell ya - it's still Aaron Rodgers running the O. Maybe after a brutal 17 game season, Aaron and the rookie receivers can make a showing versus a 49ers or Vikings or Philly or Dallas team. Vikes fan here. I know the Packers had more to play for which DOES make a difference, but this game showed that we will definitely be one and done in the playoffs. Been a great season, nearly all the games were tremendously entertaining, which after all is the whole point of pro sports. Great first season for the Kwesi/OConnell regime, but lets not kid ourselves, the 49ers, Eagles, Pack and even the Bucs will be too much for this squad in the playoffs. This was a very good game for the packers they are a good team especially good offense and defense.
No they're not. Defense has been looking awesome the last six quarters, but the Packers are still a mediocre team. Just their record actually reflects that, where the Vikings are much worse than their record.
Packers defense and special teams are amazing, but the offense is mediocre at best. That sort of evens it out.
@@TheRealMightyMouse32 the Packers are not awesome on special teams but they're much improved in the return game. A blocked punt led to Green Bay losing against the 49ers last year, again we led for almost the entire time. The blocked punt to start was a nightmare to see, but that goal line stands seem to really invigorate the whole defense. I think that was honestly such a confidence boost
@@HaeravonFAQs Agreed. The Packer's offense is nowhere near that of teams like S.F. or Philly. But with Baklarti back and Watson-Doubs-Lazard finally playing TOGETHER, Green Bay still has time to make that offense better.
@@HaeravonFAQs Packers fan that agrees 1000%. It’s just hard to accept the fact that your team is mediocre when they have a game like they did tonight: scoring on all phases. There is nothing special about this team like in 10-11. I just hope they’re able to turn water to wine this season. I think all the teams in the NFC playoffs are flawed
