Oh sweet! I have a crack that's developed through a few layers on my heel side just where the drop starts on the deck. This video gave me another option to consider. Was thinking just to fiber glass or carbon fiber it up. But I've never done anything like that before so I'm not sure of the materials needed.
@@andyramirez470 nah its still going strong. Didn't end up using fiberglass on my deck though. Ended up using a metal brace of sorts. Crack hasn't gotten any bigger. I did go fiber glass a layer or two around two of my other decks that I thought would be susceptible to cracking aswell. Works a charm.
Wow my meepo Long board just snapped at the exact same spot crazy how the design flaw of a long board is. They need to reenforce the truck location with some carbon fiber or stronger materials
The fact that it breaks there is mostly physics unless you want it made out of plastic or metal. The weakest point is the fulcrum and it's made out of wood they have drop-throughs that are forked and reinforce with fiberglass but with a board you're going to put a giant battery under drop throughs probably aren't practical
Probably not. Once something has snapped off, its a lot more work to fix. Just finding a way to get everything working on a new deck is probably the easier way to go. Another option might be to do a chop. Re-mount the trucks further in from where they used to be. Not sure how that might work out with a meepo though.
you sir, have a skill set here. well done. wish i had a proper shop so i could do some of these fixes. keep it up man!

Did it break right away?

I have a modified board but it cracked directly down two bolts. I probably can't fix that one

nice!
I can't believe I just watched 30 min of repair porn without having most of the stuff you showed in the video in order to fix my board 😂
thanks
Hey man. A car ran over the front section of my MEEPO board. The front end totally snapped off. Is there any way I can repair it. Help plz

Yo, my entire nose of my longboard is cracked, like it’s pointed downward. Anything I can do to fix that?😅
Yes, technically.
If you went to the extreme of doing carbon fiber or something top and bottom. And I wouldn't bet on it matching original strength.
@@LongboardTechnology so what can I do if I’m on a budget and trying to fix it then?😬😅😭
Typically the solution is to chop the board, and drill new holes for a shorter wheel base.
Can I send you my board 😭😭😭
Boards come to easy. No fixit jobs on boards hehe. But🌦️,....ahh,....yeah. I could use a comment my ch. selfholmes.
