Living in a Glacial Outflow region has its perks, we don't always have to make the 5 hour trip to Upper Michigan and Lake Superior. Thanks to the glaciers, we have all the same types of rocks locally, they are just more elusive and sometimes you have to get dirty to find them. In todays video, I head DEEP into the woods to a creek I scouted during a mushroom hunt last year. This area is dead center in the middle of the glacial outflow, so there has to be good rocks, right? Well there is only one way to find out, join me as I head into the wilderness for a little rockhounding adventure!!

Sure is a peaceful area. Nice rocks, agates and jasper in that creek. Great to get out before all the mosquitoes take over the woods :)
It was so peaceful, and surprisingly the ticks weren’t that bad! The amount of mosquito larva in the creek was wild, they’ll be biting in no time 😁 Thanks for watching!
