Had the itch and made our way back out to one of our favorite spots to rockhound on Lake Michigan. She did not disappoint, I found two of the coolest agates, as well as quite a few cold water agates, tons of beautiful jasper and fossils galore. Even found a few that I had no idea what they were. Couldn't ask for a better day on Lady Michigan. It was find after find after find! Hope you enjoy and stay tuned, in 5 days we are headed up to the north shore of Lake Superior for a rockhounding adventure first for us, we've never rock hunted the north shore! Hope you enjoyed todays video!

Nice finds a few bonus agates.
Gotta love a good bonus!
That was a awesome hunt ! Some many great finds. The agates were amazing😊
It was such a good day, and we didn’t mind the break from the heat! Thanks for watching
I just go into rockhounding and found out about all the rocks around lake superior (learned about yooperlite) and then I see this channel!
Thanks for watching, hope you enjoy the videos !
WOW, that one at 2:30 is stunning and so unique!! I live in the land of granite, and we don't have any out here in the Sierras like that. I wonder if the one at 1:45 has red jasper? Loved the sound of the waves. Awesome hunt!! ROCK ON! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
I’d assume maybe 2:30 is granite but so unique compared to the normal stuff we typically find! Thanks for watching, it was such a fun day!
Hey there neighbor! Im up in Door. I work at the rock shop in Fish Creek. Just wanted to say hi and let you know I also love the green ones on the beach. We've been to the beach you are at. We found a few agates aaaannd We found some small uranium glass pieces. On our way to north shore in a couple weeks. Hopefully we will find some agates. Thanks for the vid!!
Well hello there! We’ve found a couple pieces of uranium glass at that beach as well!! Best of luck on your North Shore trip, that was one of our favorite RH trips yet! We’ll have to swing into the Rock Shop next time we come through Fish Creek and take a look around!! Thanks for watching
7 40 mark i cant believe you didn't save. I liked that one. Awesome video though
Haha yeah it was tempting but I have a few similar. Thanks for watching!
This was great, thank you for taking us along! That cold water agate was BEAUTIFIL! If you don't mind my asking what town is that beach near where you were hunting?
Thanks for watching, it was such a great day besides the wind (but I think that worked in our favor!) the beach is in the Manitowoc area 😁
Did you take the honeycomb looking one? I hope so that was gorgeous!! So was the banded one before it you threw down 😮😂
I think I threw them both back 🤦♂️ but….more surprises for the next person!
What kind of camera do you use? Awesome close-up detail!
Hi, close ups are shit from just my iPhone 13 Pro 😁 Easy and convenient!
Im planning on a trip from Pa and want to do this along the way. Any ideas on good spots to stop and spend a day doing this?
Hi! Thanks for watching. Shoot me an email @ sales@operocks.com and I’ll help you out. Just let me know who you are (UA-cam name) and I’ll give you a few good spots 😉 safe travels!
Might the jasper at 24:25 been red oolitic jasper?
Yes! That’s it, I was drawing a blank and that’s definitely what it is. Thanks for watching and helping with the ID!
Are you Michigan side or Wisconsin side of Lake Michigan? Nice find BTW!
We are on the Wisconsin side
@@Operocks cool, thanks!
