The Amazon is such a beautiful classic!
Having built a real Amazon from a bare shell. Pretty accurate.
Subassemblies are typical for these build-up kits. Typically for example, they have you assemble the front grill, and include the hood. Parts you will not use until near the end of the build. . . . approx 1-year later. What is also irritating and frustrating is when they have you remove a part you installed early on. Two examples: The Fast & Furious Dodge Charger from Fanhome: The wheels are installed around Issue 15 or so. Then at Issue 55, they have you remove the front wheels to install suspension parts. Then in Stage 98 or so, again the wheels are removed to install the wheel wells. This is true for the Shelby Cobra from Agora. For the Cobra, I had to reorder the Wheel Hub. Somehow, I stripped the threads that attaches the wheel to the car. So now with the Dodge I'm suffering from Pavlov's experiment for another 12 months!
Never seen a such detailed model before. Pretty cool.
Have you heard of pocher? Their models ( the older one's) are way more detailed. Working brakes, windows, steering, and so forth. I would rather have those than these as these are way overpriced
Absolutely beautiful. I would love to see more like this as well as build one for myself!
Really love these kind of builds now and then. Relaxing 🤤. And of course i love the more difficult builds using parts like USCP. Only thing i could say is keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻
1964, and fairly accurate. Very cuspy year. The paint code and upholstery are accurate.(dullcote the cloth) The headliner, floor, hat shelf backer (not sure what it’s called) are the wrong colors. The side emblems are supposed to be above the chrome trim. Cut a loop off the front springs. Wish it had thin white walls (this was the last year they came standard). I can’t believe someone cared enough to make this a thing. ❤ Great model. (Aside from the electronics and latches)
It would be cool to make this into a rc.
Very nice
Another great Job, I love it
i wait for my first car model from revell so yea
Cool
Did you ever thought about assemble rally cars?
Thanks
These models are so cool, I just hate the dripfeed subscription thing all of those companies tend to do. Call me crazy, but I like to work on models on my own time, not 3 pieces a month for 10 years.
why dont you paint it and detail it
Because i don’t want to on these types of builds. It relaxing for me to just assemble and have an “easy” build aswell sometimes
I'm plastic builder myself but I don't like the idea of these monthly installement builds because they take too long to build. They also come out more expensive and 1/8 scale is just too big!
I don't understand the point of such models. Model building is about building the model according to your own ideas and designing the color. This type of model is all about screwing or plugging pre-painted parts together.
Body color and interior is accurate for ‘64. But it is very beige. Make it your own! Great build.
