Just remember to be real with yourself when it comes shopping for a Gladiator. Ask yourself important the important questions. Do I need a mojave or Rubicon? Majority can say no. I knew my crazy wheeling days are over and went with a well equipped Sport S. I added a small lift with Rubicon shocks and wheels/tires. Did that for under 48k cdn. 8 speed auto, cold weather, tow package, hardtop, 7” screen, remote start and bedliner. Another thing, these trucks turn heads! I go and get gas and people stop to ask about it. They genuinely love it and so do I!
No one pays sticker anymore. You can get a good deal if you shop around. Unless you are going for the 392 Wrangler, you are paying a premium, but Gladiators they will give you up to $5k to $6k USD off for a decent discount. Some in the Jeep forums got $10k off with a few miles on them.
I just saw a video how a guy took a Gladiator off road and mud flew into the engine compartment and the alternator fried. The dealer said that the warranty of the Jeep was now void and would not fix anything. So I will not be buying a Gladiator.
I really like the look of the Gladiator, but from what I recall, a similarly equipped Ram Rebel or Laramie comes in around the same price when all options are added in (and wait for the big discounts for Ram that always happen). The Ram rides better, and is just a better deal if you really need a truck.

I am not a fan of the Gladiator but I'm a huge fan of you two. Great review as always, the Cranberry farm is really cool, I wasn't expecting this, beautiful footage. Andrea you look absolutely gorgeous- love the outfit with the glasses and jacket 😍
Jeep is recognized all the world most notably in wars, and you wont be disappointed off road it will get any difficult situation solved with ease. This a car for terrain driving not everyday use as it consumes lots of gases. This car is appropriate for weekends outdoor. Ok.
You don't have to pay $60K-$70K for a Gladiator. Skip the Rubicon and Mojave trims, as well as most of the other trims. I bought a Sport S with a 3 piece hardtop, automatic, the packages that come with all the power windows and door locks as well as the heated seats and heated steering wheel and the tow package. Got it all for $39K. I've added a tonneau cover, bedrug for rear bed, Rubicon rock rail takeoffs, Wrangler Rubicon 33" wheels with Falken Wildpeak M/T tires for another $2200 and it rocks, I just ordered my tube doors and sunscreen and the only thing left to order is a headliner and cab cover and I'm set. All that will be another $1100. So for under $42,500 I have a loaded Gladiator, the baddest looking mall crawler around.
I believe the smoother ride is contributed to the fact that the Gladiater has similar components to the Ram pickup suspension rather than the Wrangler suspension components.
Back seat is too small. Interior is too tight. Bed is too small. I bought a 2020 Ram 1500 Bighorn for less money. Much better vehicle. I test drove both. The Wrangler Unlimited was laughably bad. I don’t know why they are so popular. The Ford Ranger was also exceptionally poor.
Consider yourselves lucky pronouncing 50k, 60k, 70k for the price. Mentioning that this truck is expensive; we pay in Turkey 200k USD for this due to massive taxes.
The cost of the diesel is expensive because of your Canadian government taxes. Don't blame Jeep. If you upgrade the brakes, trailer brake controller from Jeep, along with putting air bags on the Gladiator allows you to tow much more. In the states, its normal (here in Virginia Beach, Virginia) to get 4000 dollars off sticker to help offset any accessories or the diesel option. The diesel option is superior if you plan to add larger tires (37 inch), lift the machine( 3 1/2 inch clayton), and add any overlanding, or camping equipment etc. and yes. I got one of each, The Wrangler Rubicon diesel, and Gladiator Rubicon Diesel. They are addictive machines. I did have to get rid of my wife to make this happen. I prefer the Gladiator. More useful and easier to justify the Diesel engine.
