- Caught this 35" halibut for my birthday aboard one of S.F Bays charter boat. By far this was the biggest halibut i have seen along with being able to enjoy with friends and family
Sometimes The deckhands are annoying af.
idk about massive 40+ inches 30+ pounds I would consider a large halibut fishing the Bay Area. I'm suprised cal dawn isn't fishing the ocean for halibut that is where all the hogs are
I understand but if theres good quality halibut in the bay insted of on the other side of the gate and the numbers are there he's going to put us on the fish. 35" 20 lb halibut for me was a first. Its bigger than most that I have seen being cought. Tight lines
California Fishing and Hunting what are they charging right now I heard some are 200-250 which is crazy to me. I have my commercial license and I fish out there 5 days a week I run a 20ft Grady and I can run all week on $200. I know last year the best charter New Easy Rider was charging $120 plus $20 jackpot
