I got the M seat precisely because it feels like sitting on a bench. The butt feels are important during fast turns.
Try the standard seat instead of the M seat.
@$439 a piece its cheaper to get the gel from luimoto and slap the oem M cover back on and enjoy!
I got the M seat, its like sitting on wood. I recommend you to carve it for gel pad and install a gel pad. Now it is even better than OEM seat.

Take your seat to Bitchn Stitchn Inc. They are are located in Lakewood off of Colfax and Simms. I plan to take my s1000rr seat to him, to have it padded and restiched.
I have the M seat and yes it was hard, but it’s like anything new it softens up, or I got used of it, after a year or so

I have the same problem with my 2020 z900, seat feels like a 2x4 smh
I hear the none M seats are much better
This is why I didnt get the M seat. Just get the regular seat non M.

@JDmotorLife Ya, it's been at the dealer for a month since the recall. They can't sell it to me without a fix from BMW.
@Brian Hansen haha I feel ya, ordered Oct myself, delivered Jan. Right as the snow was melting and about to take delivery *Nope* recall. So like no ETA from my dealership. They just said it should be quickish... so we shall see I guess, really hoping to get her before May when the really warm weather comes in.
