Just obscure hints that he is into occultism and esoteric belief systems. Vague reference to the book The Fourth Turning (without naming it) which does theorise that history oscillates in generational cycles. If they genuinely wished to be informative, and to present Bannon's position in good faith, they would have been specific, not cast dark hints that could mean anything.

This is an excellent analysis of Bannon - and I believe it to be very accurate. However, I wish they would apply the same level of scrutiny to the extraordinary propaganda campaign we witnessed during the Obama years. Obama was extremely open about his desire for a "revolutionary transformation" of American politics, culture, and society. The Obama election campaign even went so far as parodying Soviet-era propaganda imagery and slogans. There really seems to be a major blindspot when it comes to analyzing the Left.
They have the corporate media, big tech, Hollywood all backing him.
The biggest mistake Obama made during his Presidency was he didn't dare to blow up the America institution which was already failing by the time he took power with 2 failed wars, and economy depression. IMO he was afraid maybe to reset the whole thing as he was the first black president of the US. He had won by a landslide promising for change by rallying America but fear kept him from changing. I would say he may be rated as one of the greatest leader if he had reset the whole system by not bailing out the banks, ending the wars, which of course would have a devastating impact around the world. But revolution comes from willing to be able to adapt to changes. As of today, the gap between rich and poor are among the largest in history. US B/S was 700b in 2008 and it is 33 trillion today. The greatest wealth transfer happened during this time around the world.

A note of protest here. Traditionalism is hardly off the wall crazy thinking, and it is certainly not fascist. It deals in metaphysics, and from what I can tell ("The War for Eternity," by Benjamin Teitlebaum) Bannon does not have a grasp of the subject matter at all. For one thing, it is not, and never can be, considered a political movement -fascist or otherwise.
This is a hit piece done by British academics and journalist who have no understanding of American political philosophy and the principles upon which this country was founded. For example, you can see their bias when it's claimed that Trump signed more executive orders than passed presidents in order to get around Congress to get things done. His condescending remark that Trump was signing his 3 millionth and 2nd EO was the type of exaggeration to make his point. Trump only signed 220 EO's where Obama signed 276 and Clinton signed 364, not to mention FDR who signed 3721. Even Eisenhower signed 484. The is a lot of clap trap, but that is what I would expect from Documentary Central, a company owned by VA Media, a globalist organization based in New Zealand.

Globalisation was and is the problem .As someone born in 1950 and started work in 1965 and watched the sell off of some of our greatest industries . Britain suffered more than any other western democracy,the amount of debt caused by fighting two world wars which in some way America benefited from but one must respect her fallen heroes . I agree. I heard Steve Bannon speak at Oxford University and he spoke two hours straight with no notes. He then took questions and answered with patience and in great detail. His security was urging him to finish as he had a plane to catch, however, there were so many young people wanting to ask questions he opted to stay for longer and catch a later flight.
