Heavy Duty Rear Speaker Panel for a Vintage VW - Curt's Bug Part 28

The rear speaker shelf on Curt's Bug needed to be made heavy duty in order to support the powered subwoofer hanging from it. This video explains how we made it and the mounting support structure.

Lol. I just used one of those flea market/swap meet boxes for my sub woofers. And yes, I have a safari back window. But, mine doesn’t see the outside world that often and so far (knock on wood) my safari windows haven’t leaked…
