I like how you talk about "while this is drying, we move to this other part" and show how to not waste time.

Time in motion, no sense in wasting it!

Shows everything I could figure out on my own. I'm stumped how to properly install the two sections in the TMI kit that tie the rear of the rear seat.

Try the rear seat video - ua-cam.com/video/G7zpZptM1-Y/v-deo.html

Thanks, we're enjoying this side of it as well!

Even if I am done restoring my Ghia, I enjoy your videos very much! One small hint about that insulation. On the floors, I'd avoid something that retains water, like those mats, even less glue them down. They hold moisture against the floors. Other than that, great build, with nice attention to detail :-)

We’ve used the same jute padding for years. For something that is more of a daily driver that will see rain, mud, etc., sure. Nowadays though our restorations are typically weekend and fair weather cars so it really isn’t a concern.

You initially show the padding that goes under the wheel well carpet pcs; but just before the carpet goes on the padding for the w/w is gone. You didn't use them?

Since we installed sound deadening (the shinny black stuff on the fender well) and the fender wells don't have any irregular surfaces (like all the ribs on the rear luggage shelf) we didn't install the carpet padding on the fender wells. It's all stated right here - ua-cam.com/video/fq_WyYzRqP8/v-deo.html

Do I need an amp if I'm not running a sub. Don't some stereos have built in amps. I'm so confused

    • @Sam_Mebane

An amplifier isn't required, no as most stereos will be able to power 4 speakers. The head unit we installed actually has more power than the amp we installed but the Kicker Key amplifier has a built in EQ Processor so we opted to use it to power our 4 speakers.
