Thank you for the videos AND thank you and Mitch for not turning into another Live Scope/Mega Live centric channel. So many ppl who previously made great search/seek/catch videos are so enamoured by live sonar we end up watching videos of them showing their live sonar while they drop jigs or what not to fish. I’m sure those channels will get back to videos “the rest of us without live sonar” can appreciate and learn from eventually.
You know guys what I love the most of what you guys do is you stay in a 4 state region and stay out of Canada. Hard to watch anything else besides you guys and your video's and excellent info is by far the best! Thank you guys it a pleasure watching your videos.
Thanks for all the information Tom. I was going through channels a week ago and came across Arnold in Conan the Barbarian. If the fishing thing doesn't work out for Cody, he can be Conan's side kick (Subotai) if they ever remake the movie. He's got the perfect stache for it.
Killing me with the suspense of your next destination these last 2 videos! Been on Sakakawea 30+ days this spring/summer, its always cool seeing someone breakdown a body of water I spend a ton of time on.
My name is Denny Shaw age 73 and I enjoyed your Devil's lake trip and the different ways to work walleyes. my wife will be retiring in a few months and she is my first mate, my question is this,. I want to learn and be able to teach her the lead core way of trolling IE, line weight, size of cranks, what are the better depths for trolling for walleye and line weight. her and i will begin traveling the northern states and having a fishing experience of our life time, she is extremely excited about this as she loves to fish. Can you and Mitch help us out with the lead core for walleyes? Thanx
Start by getting the correct rods leadcore plays hell on eyelets... Then get 18lb suffix leadcore. You calibrate the reels with the leadcore to 100ft (many videos out on subject). Then download the precision trolling app on your phone and your all set. The fish you mark on your graph you want to fish 1-2 ft at least above them. Then start playing with your speed. Warmer the water the faster you can fish. Late spring 1.5mph is a good starting point but once you get into July 2+ mph and even sometimes 3+ mph for finnicky negative fish. Slimmer longer cranks in spring and fall and more round (shad rap) style baits in summer. Keep notes get a good quality clicker reel and have fun.
Nothing at all wrong with catch and release. Kudos. Just don't get too sad when people eat these. They only live for 5 years or so, they get big fast, they are man-made fish. They fill a role for shad control, they are sticked regularly. If a person is to harvest fish to eat, this is one of the best options.
Tom I live neet Omaha and catch walleye spring and fall "Missouri river " what would be a good summer pattern to try it seem a lot different than anything on walleye now app
Mitch and his comments… “Over here flying the drone, just making this video better then Tom would make it without the shots,” in the background. “Just think if I would’ve flew the drone for another minute.” “Why don’t you just close your mouth and let me do my job,” to Tom. “I’m just getting the coolest drone stuff right now.” BTW, what happened to that footage? Seriously Tom, there some days I think your videos would be more enjoyable to watch and listen to without his condescending comments! I think it shows he thinks you couldn’t possibly do TOM BOLEY videos without him. Otherwise, the content is great as usual! I’ve been able to apply some of your tactics and strategies in central Wisconsin with success and for that, I thank you. Can’t wait for fall and the upcoming ice season! Tight lines
Ok enough is enough about the catch and release and the eater bullshit. You never tell anything about what lake you fish in your local area. But you get to Minnesota. or North Dakota and let the cat out of the bag as to what lake your fishing.
Hardest working, best content, walleye expert out there! I have learned so much from your videos. We are on Lake Vermilion in MN.
Good luck on vermilion!

You said it, respect the fish. Let em go. Let em get bigger and make more fish.

How do you keep the sunnies and perch from stealing bait, particularly when fishing shallow weed edges?
Most of the time we are just casting at pods of walleyes and most of the time there won't be a bunch of panfish right in with the walleyes
I live in washington where im surrounded why rivers and having hard time catching walleye. Do you guys do any river walleye fishing?
We have a ton of river content. Honestly the best way to find it would be on the WALLEYE NOW APP. Thanks
Still looking for the trolling reels in the description.
I’d love to see you fish in Michigans UP for walleye
Maybe this fall
