ICOM IC-731 repair

The ICOM IC-731 is a shortwave transceiver for HAM-Operators. This machine is imported from Japan and bought at the Auction house in Japan. A inexpensive order plus a very expensive transport make this defect radio to a challenge! Also the issue what happened is unique please see it self what all happened inside this machine! No problem there - also the Phototransistors from the rotary dial are defect! I ordered this parts now and let us see how we can fix this old machine. Best Regards weakbit
