Always good to see Jason and very awesome to see him jamming away. That’s a beautiful guitar I’m like Jason never been big into the tele and fender style but I’ve been getting into the schecter pt styles and this one is an amazing looking guitar.
How cool is this. I was thinking how cool it would be if maybe Jason was a guest on your up coming album. Its crazy how each play has his own sound. Hearing Jason play i can hear his sound like from from this present darkness.

That’s a beautiful guitar, it sounds freaking awesome too. Might be the first time I’ve liked a tele style looking guitar. If they have a single pickup one Id be excited for it myself. It’s a beauty!

What a beauty of a guitar. Love the black satin finish and the way it sounds really nice. One other about this guitar I like is the head stock. It fits the guitar just right. Jason's playing is awesome and again he hasn't lost his touch. 12" on this guitar wow that's heavy. Rob thank you for another great video.

I always loved this name so much - this is one of the most beautiful Greek-English names both in terms of sounding and in terms of original meaning - It cames from greek name "Ἰάσων", that means "healer". And this guy justified the meaning of his name for me during the most difficult period of my life with his riffs in Chimaira! I'm so glad to see him again here on your channel, Rob! It would be amazing to see you jamming again!
And about this guitar - That's a really great metallized version of Telecaster, probably the best one! It seems to me that this became a trend also because of Jim Root, he popularized metallized Telecasters so much, that so many guitar companies introduced their versions of it. And this example is undoubtedly a worthy representative of this category!

@@RobArnoldWorld I am a Superstrat guy down to the core, but I like metallized Tele's so much! Well that's definitely true, Jim has been playing metallized Fenders and Charvels since 2004 and still plays them, and Tele's was his first signatures. Then Joe Duplantier of Gojira picked up this baton and made signature metallized Tele's with Charvel. And these two moments let this trend started on! One interesting fact: Slipknot NEVER uses ESP guitars - Mick played Jackson and Ibanez guitars in the beginning, then he played BC Rich guitars until the death of Bernardo Rico, then he played Ibanez guitars, and now he plays Jacksons - All of the time with this three brands! Jim played Jacksons and Charvels in the beginning, then he played Paul Reed Smith's and BC Rich Superstrats, and since 2004 he is full time Fender/Charvel guy. Paul played modified Jackson P-style bass, than he played Warwicks, and then he played Ibanez ATK basses until his death.
Rob, how about doing a collaboration playthrough with Jason to one of old Chimaira songs? And Jason would be play this guitar! I think, that would be fantastic!

So cool that two of my favorite guitarists from one of my favorite bands come on you tube and actually communicate with us mere mortals. Rob has taught and helped me a lot. I have Fenders, A Gibson SG and a few Jacksons. I really want an ESP/LTD now and I am leaning towards an Eclipse with a real Floyd Rose because I like the 24.75 scale length of my SG and I have never had a Floyd Rose and I want a solid one to start with, I do not like modding my stuff. Ultimately I would like to find an Eclipse with a single EMG in the bridge or a Fishman Modern, dont want Duncans...and of course a real Floyd Rose, does this model exist. If not I want to go with a Strat shaped one, I think Robs signature model might have everything I want out of the box except for the scale length which is not a huge deal...,
Cool man! I'm not sure the configuration you're describing exists exactly like that, so you may have to make some compromises. Take a look at the ltd Black Metal series. You can get pretty darn close but not exact.

I just got this Tele from Thomann.
All i can say is THICC. Sound wise and weight. 🤘💪
It is actually a decent guitar... Not like any master crafted, but plays well and most important neck feels good to play. One issue I had was that one of the fretboard bindings sunk during hot summer days.. fixed with epoxy.
Mainly play with my Ibanez RG's these days, but still pick this guitar every once and while. Feels so solid.
can we have a Chimaira reunion and an album called Revival :)))?

Hey Rob question about Six Feet Under Unborn album, you payed guitar on some songs but not bass?
Yo dude- yeah on Unborn I wrote and performed guitar on the song Psychosis. If I played bass on it, they probably replaced it with Jeff Hughell's tracks.
On the Undead album however, I wrote all the songs, and played guitar and bass on every track. 🤘

I could only wish in one hand and shit in the other.
The headstock has a bit of an annoying look. I wish they applied the same headstock shape found in E2 telecaster.
